😮 the ring of fire is stunning! Usually baby ones are about a tenner so that was a really good price! My marble queen is my slowest growing pothos as a hanging plant, however i have some growing up a moss pole and that ones really fast (was propped from the same plant.) With the pancake plant, when i let mine dry out between waterings it lost a tonne of leaves. Now i just let the top couple inches of soil get dry then water it and it's much happier :)
I found one of those ficuses recently, a wee bit smaller than yours, and with four growth points, for a tenner. Of course it had to come home with me! That brings the count up to four, now I have all the ones I wanted. I don't much care for fiddle leaf figs either. They are meant to be spider mite magnets.
That Ring of Fire was a STEAL! I love mine. I gave it a moss pole, but it doesn't need one. Easygoing plant. And that's definitely a Ruby. I hoped you would have gotten the Lemon Lime Maranta. It's one of my Top 5 favorite plants of all time!
Thanks for this video, interesting as usual. In a few weeks or months'time, could you please give us an update on your grow light? Does it really make houseplants grow better and faster? I am tempted to buy one, but I dunno whether or not they're worth the money.
@@Plantswithjem Thanks a lot. I forgot to tell you that all your plants look so gorgeous, that it's always a pleasure to watch your videos. They're very informative and relaxing at the same time.
@@Plantswithjem I also thought it belonged to the peperomias, until someone enlightened me. I do wonder how this confusion arose in the first place...?!

Thanks for the tips! Glad I got a bargain there then! I will make sure the marble queen gets plenty of light and keep my fingers crossed! 😊

Wow that was a bargain! Don’t think you can ever have too many ficuses!

Also, that's not actually a pepperomia, so you should be good!
Is it not? 😂 why did I think that!?
@@Plantswithjem I also thought it belonged to the peperomias, until someone enlightened me. I do wonder how this confusion arose in the first place...?!
@@Plantswithjem The name means "like a pepperomia" but it's not actually one! LOL!
Lol well have a look at the peperomia teardrop, it looks very similar! 😅
I think it’s a common misconception because it resembles the peperomia teardrop plus they gave it a peperomia sounding name lol
