It was a good show. I was almost addicted to it. But sometimes life goes on. If someone would bring a bunch of cool people together who know a lot of movies and try to reboot it... I would maybe watch. It's a cool concept. *I* love to argue with my friends about movies myself...😅
Most civil, intelligent fight, and I'd love to see it: Dan, Chris Stuckmann, and Spencer. Most crazy, insane fight I'd also love to see: Nick, Mike, and Roger.
No youre not! Lol Same here, the honest trailers are fun quick videos on a movie, but movie fights covers so many topics spanning from the past to present and to the future. People passionately argue their views, Its a film lovers dream. Love this show
Ezra Daßer I assume you refer to the early days of Movie Fights. I've been subbed for quite sometime but never really watched Movie Fights, though when I finally did (I Think episode 22 was my first fight) I've seen Andy sit on the left when in the studio except for that one time he sat on the left because something happened with his mic or some technical difficulty in a later episode. So I (myself) have been used to seeing Andy on the right.
*Round 1* I agree Hal should've won. Besides presenting an interesting look at Trump's life, he also had a solid answer/rebuttal for every single thing Nick and Spencer threw at him.
*Round 3* was amazing. Haha, that was a great idea from Mike Carlson. And I completely agree that Spencer should've won that round. Definitely the most cohesive unit. The other two were just chaotic and wouldn't be able to work together at all.
Any chance of an episode where all the questions are based on foreign language films? Not mentioning any Jackie Chan fight for best film fight is sacrilegious.
+sabret00the Yeah any "Best" question is going to be extremely limited even if a person has seen every example of the question as there are many versions of excellence. I'd say Jackie's Wheels on Meals fight was amazing. Then again Jet Li against the tall guys in Kiss of the Dragon is great, or some of the wide shot Ong Bak stuff? So many options!
I have only commented on a couple of RUclips videos in my life, despite watching thousands of them. I only comment on this video to thank you, all of you that take the time and effort to create such fantastic content for all of us to enjoy for free. The fact that this show has not only survived a year, but that it continues to gain viewership is a testament to the quality of entertainment that you provide. I hope that you continue to provide this amazing program for all of us for years to come. From all of us that are here to truly enjoy great content, thank you, a thousand times thank you.
Omg Hal is hilarious! That moment of hal not taking the genie was one of my favorite moments in movie fights ever. Him & mike carlson are my fav fighters :)
+Isaac DuBois "What is the best sequel that is superior to it's predecessor" was the question. Empire, and T2 are both better movies than DH pt. 2, but they both followed a fantastic first movie. The argument was that DH pt. 2 had the highest leap in quality, therefore the term "superior" best applied in the context of the series. Not saying I agree with that ruling, just clarifying the decision.
Well it is based off the arguments, you know I always wondered why they ALWAYS remind us that its not what we like the best, its who has the better argument. Then i look at the comment section and realize oh people still need clarification apparently.
+Isaac DuBois or maybe you should actually learn to listen and know that Spencer deserved the win, as both Nick and Hal went with the generic choice of 'oh my gerd! terminator 2 and Empire strikes back!' Seriously. Can they get more cliche in their answers or what? At least Spencer went outside the box and made a daring choice, rather than trying to cash in on Terminator and Star Wars being amazing movies and that apparently alone makes them deserve to win, no matter how badly they answered the question.
I understand the ruling and everything, and how it's based on the arguments, and yeah, props to Spencer for being original, but it's still pretty funny to me nonetheless.
I love how the first year culminates with the coming of age tale for Hal. From being the worst fighter in the original cast, to many more failed attempts, to a disputed victory, earned one, and finally a photo finish victory against his first competitors and family. This show has been such a blast to watch this year, and gives us fans something to be excited about with the start of each new week. Thank you for all the great moments and many more to come. Congratulations to all of you :)
1) Orson Welles 2) Captain America: Winter Soldier 3) Front Man/Rhythm Guitar: Frank (Fassbender), Lead Guitar: Russell Hammond from Stillwater, Bass: Scott Pilgrim, Drums: Miles Teller from Whiplash. Genre = experimental 4) Reverse De Niro & Pacino's roles from Heat, throw in some elements from Se7en, set it in present day. 5) Kevin Smith 6) Roddy Piper vs Keith David from _They Live_ Congrats on one year, guys!
Of course he does but the reason he gets more hate than the dozen other big holiwood directors who make even worse mindless CGI garbage are the reasons ive already said.
+Lucas Kowalik his CGI explosions might be dumb and over the top but at least they are shot with style, motion, depth and very good CGI. I don't see how that's bad, I'd say that his CGI explosion fests are the best part of his movie. The worst is his story telling and the scripts he works with. And there are plenty of directors who do or have done worse e.g Uwe Boll and Jonathan Liebesman
***** I honestly think Batman Begins is better than The Dark Knight. It's deeper and has more heart, and more of a plot. I love The Dark Knight, but I think it's a little overrated. To me it's the Good Will Hunting of superhero movies, not the Citizen Kane of superhero movies. Don't even get me started on The Godfather.
+Mike Ock I'd have to respectfully disagree with you Mike; i don't think it's a silly argument. However i do want them to resolve the issue and go back to being friends.
+gribble of the sand I came here to say this. Honestly, the hallway scene from The Raid is up there too. There's probably a dozen martial arts films that beat out the fights they picked, but Screen Junkies isn't super attuned to foreign films.
+ncolaros I think you could probably make a top 3 movie fights just from The Raid and The Raid 2! I would have argued for the kitchen fight at the end of Raid 2 personally, it's such a gritty, brutal fight and the fact that they are real martial artists really elevates it above actors fighting like the other picks.
Why is Spencer the only one who seems to be mature during these? Never seems like he's being treated unfairly and even if he is he just says "ahh whatever I'm over it"
+Nick Antony agreed, and even with biopics as choices they should of stuck to strickly biopics (throwing in ficticious characters ruined the biopic ones).
why do they keep on saying that interstellar was a bad movie, you can debate whether or not the characters are good or whether or not a love story is required, but the story makes perfect sense (which is something they seem to forget all the time) you just have to know some physics
+Juan Perez you're saying no shit to me?? When you just completely disregarded the fact movies are subjective and basically said they "can't" say interstellar is bad, when they definitely can.
Jack Lovejoy I didn't say I wouldn't watch it. Say what you want about Trump but he is very interesting. It could be like a mixture between Wolf of Wall Street and There Will Be Blood.
Don't be knocking Nikki now. She's been bringing it in the ring for the past few months. She's gained my respect with her recent work. Dan's probably only defended that strap 3 times total in the last year tho. The champ should be forced to defend the title at least once a month!
No, but it is certainly a step forward and you can't not give some credit towards it. You go from a pile of shit rated zero or two to something that's about a six or seven and that's a fucking improvement.
Neo vs Agent Smith wasn't a whole lot of CGI. It was the best fight out of those 3 easily. There are several movie fights better than those: Bourne vs the 1st agent in Identity, Cap vs Winter Soldier, Avengers vs the Chitauri, Superman Smallville fight in MoS, the Raid 1 & 2 fights, final battle in Man of Tai Chi against Keanu, I man fights, etc. Etc. Really
I wouldn't call The Avengers one a fight, it feels more like a battle and I personally don't think the one from Man of Steel was THAT great... But I agree with all the others, they're awesome!
They didn't specify 1 on 1 but I get what you're saying with the Avengers bit. Well I loved the Smallville fight but I'm a Superman fanboy lol. Still there are plenty of other fights that completely outclassed the Die Hard fight and They Live fight. Spencer's was the best choice out of the 3 but he shot himself in the foot
Yeah, I thought it would've won, it seems so easy to defend such a great and iconic fight! Btw I liked the Smallville fight too, but I just don't think it is one of the best (let's hope Batman V Superman will top it!)
+The Anti Critics To me, the best fight is the They Live fight. I was thinking of that fight before Hal said it. I used to watch that movie just for that fight. It's so over the top and Roddy's friend thinks Roddy is nuts the whole time. It's a knock out, drag out fight.
This might be my favorite movie fights of all time It was great to see all the original fighters come back for a rematch and to see this episode celebrate Movie fights one year anniversary. I miss movie fights
Best Fight? The end sequence of Hot Fuzz. It's the best parts of Point Break and Bad Boys II, given a unique spin. The entire movie is built upon that final half hour. Explosions, guns, explosions (while slowly walking away), all capped off with a church steeple through the jaw of the bad guy (James Bond).
that was incredible this is the greatest show in the world. I literally rewatched Hal saying "no" to the switch with spencer like three times that was priceless. Only on movie fights....... Happy one year guys!
Thegohan457 It may be not as good as people say but it's still a great film. Plus it's better than batman begins so it would have been a good answer to the question but I think it is a bit overrated. It's like number 4 on the best movies on imdb which is a bit ridiculous.
If they're going to get into the semantics of Knight vs. Night, then they should get into the semantics of "cameo". Both Hal and Nick had Pacino as a co-star, not a cameo.
+Aaron VargasNV they won't because unless its a blockbuster, they hate the movie, like when Dan argued for the Raid but it was dismissed because "no one has seen it"
I hope they do The best movie fight question again for the 2nd anniversary. So many more good movie fights... Civil War, Road House, Rocky, Rocky II, Kramer Vs. Kramer, Chasing Amy, Mortal Kombat, Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan (space ships can fight). But you could go 'Best Sword Fight in a movie' or maybe 'Best War Battle in a movie'.
This is Hal at his best, later videos he plays an over-the-top caricature that easily goes off the rails. Here he is more focused and enjoyable. Don't turn heel.
Hal deserved to win for picking the fight from they live. "I'm giving you a choice; put on these sunglasses or start eating that trash can" haha classic!
I completely disagree on the best sequel argument. I think Spencer's choice is cheap to begin with because it's the 8th movie of franchise so is it really even a sequel? Also giving it to Spencer on the merit of how much better it is than the movie before it is, I think is not in the spirit of the question. The heart of the question is "best sequel?", you then have the added caveat that it has to be better than the original movie. I would have given it to Nick, followed by Hal, but not Spencer.
I'll also add, I've seen T2, but not the original terminator. It absolutely holds up on it's own. I'm not a focus test case for Empire however, though I don't think it would hold up as well without the first movie.
+Daniel O'Connell - I expected T2 in there for sure and also Aliens. Picking part 2 of a two part book adaptation is just cheating. Doesn't feel like it fits the overall frame of the question either: ...BEST sequel that is better than the original. While DH2 is much better than part one, it is hardly the BEST sequel (probably not even the best Potter movie). The question he answered is: Which sequel improves the most upon the preceding movie?
+GanjaCoyote While it's obviously a matter of taste, I utterly disagree that DH2 is better than DH1. 1 is able to explore deep character interaction, allows character growth, has great moments of tension, and ends with one of the most powerful death scenes in cinematic history. 2 is a mess of action with a really shoehorned emotional beat at the end.
CommanderCorner I'm not sure I agree that DH1 is better than DH2, but I do agree it gets a bum rap. It doesn't follow the same formula as a standard Harry Potter movie, because it's not based on a complete Harry Potter book. In that sense it is missing the same climax you normally get. That said, I agree that we get amazing character development, and an amazing journey/fulfillment of character type of story..Although you don't have the same level of climax so you can't fully compare, I personally had a very similar feeling at the end of DH1 like I do at the end of Empire. You get very similar near hopelessness yet dogged determination of the protagonist. They are very down, but not out and it left me excited for DH2.
+Daniel O'Connell For me, it comes down to ESB vs. T2. While, it's obvious I prefer ESB, I'd like to give a few points to swing it. ESB is more accessible, as it's a safer bet for a family to watch. ESB expands on the story of ANH by exploring who Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader really are. ESB has action, drama, romance, and philosophy. ESB also sets up the next installment making you want to watch the next movie. Also, if you watch T2 today, you know the world did not end because it's 2015. ESB, happened a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away so you can watch it in any time era.
Neo fight was pretty good, but I would never have chosen it. Best fight was Inigo Montoya vs The Man in Black in the Princess Bride. Best fistfight was Jackie Chan at the end of Drunken Master.
Big shout out from India, you guys are AWESOME! I watch you guys every week religiously. Congrats on completing 1 year and keep going! (Andy you're a great host)
+Mees Those are excellent classic films and it's going to take 10 years before we will know if The Winter Solider will hold-up over the test of time but the two films you mentioned follow a classic. I think what makes The Winter Solider unique is that the original Captain America was so terrible. I personally like The Godfather better than Part II but I like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly better that A Fistful of Dollars. However, if only comparing the sequel to the original, The Winter Solider can be said to be the best sequel.
It was a good movie but to seriously consider it to be even a contender for that fight is crazy. Especially when its predecessor was also a decent movie.
Best sequel better then predecessor: Star Wars V or Cap America Winter Solider Best movie fight: either King Kong vs V-Rexs or Aragorn vs Lurtz because it's completely practical including the knife throw
+Jacob Hando the boromir vs all the orcs/uruks (i can't remember which type they were) was also pretty bad ass but good pick with the Aragorn vs Kurtz fight!
+murat karakuş wants him to go out in his prime. Its a concept he could have won with if he presented it differently. He should have drawn parallels between Nolan and Spielberg, like maybe Nolan will think he's a better director 10 years from now and try to change the dark knight like spielberg did to starwars and ET.
+Drfootfoe Star Wars? That's George Lucas. I know Spielberg originally was meant to direct Return of the Jedi but it didn't work out due to some stupid ass technicality with the DGA. I don't necessary agree with you. Spielberg has made great movies recently. Lincoln, War Horse, Bridge of Spies. The Terminal, Catch Me if you Can, Munich.
+Drfootfoe The only problem with that is this, Nick Mundy pretty much saying that Nolan should 'give up'. Give up doing what he loves to do. Give up trying to make movies. Just give up. I won't lie, I wasn't happy with Interstellar, despite I thought it wasn't all that bad. But just because he failed on one project doesn't mean that he should give up. Look at Pixar for example. They were having a hard time between 2011 to 2015, and I bet people were thinking that they had nothing else to offer. And what happened in the summer of 2015? Oh, yeah, freaking Inside Out happened! Even Christopher Nolan and Pixar will have dark times. But that doesn't mean that they should give up trying to make that next great film.
+Taylor Huston (Soundkiller) I don't agree with him I just think the choice could have worked if he framed it like that. Oh George Lucas for starwars south Park treats them as the same person but the point remains.
All of your bands in round three are WRONG. The real winner: Vocals - Calliope from Hercules Lead Guitar - Marty McFly Rhythm Guitar - August Rush Keyboard - Beethoven from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure Drums - Willy Hall from Blues Brothers
+Alaethancar I picked Marty as well and Beethoven was my second choice for Keyboard. I ultimately didn't go with him, because he's not a made up character. Check out my comment!
Happy Anniversary!!! This was another great movie fight! PS: Cannot believe you guys did not upload NYC Comic Con Movie Fight!!! where Dan and Spencer got owned by a Fan!!!!!
As a fan who watched all of the movie fights and stuck with you guys from the beginning, I demand that deleted scene to be posted. And I'm not the demanding person type.
Did Nick just say Nolan should stop making movies? Nick's hilarious at times, but good Lord that was the most ridiculous and least thought-out pitch I've ever heard. Nick, if you're reading this, I sincerely hope you have realized the fault of your statement. Also, Interstellar was an amazing movie; I have no idea how anyone can think anything else of it.
+Ioannis Tsangarides To be fair, after my initial rush of bad directors, I did think 'what if Tarantino did a mic drop one day'. I see what Nick was going for, but he didn't think it through.
+Ioannis Tsangarides I found it to be a bit slow, so I literally slept through it, but i wouldn't call it a shit movie though, just didn't keep my attention.
+Ioannis Tsangarides He said he thinks Nolan should quit so he dies a legend. If he keeps going and becomes bad that is all he will be known for. Hollywood doesn't look at what you've done but what you've done lately. Do I agree with Nick? No. I want to see Nolan tackle some different genres before he stops, but I understand his concerns. I remember when Tim Burton was a good director. If only he stopped with Sleepy Hollow.
I've just seen the Retrospective, I'm gonna watch the rest of the episode later (I got tickets for The Martian!), but I just want to tell you guys Congratulations! Not only for a year of Movie Fights, but to the whole Screen Junkies crew. I have a lot of fun with the Honest Trailers, Movie Science, the SJ Show or any new video you upload. You guys not only love movies, but you love talking about movies with respect and good heart, making me feel like I'm sitting on a chair next to you... although one day I wish I could really be there fighting! So here's for many more years, movies and fun. Saludos, mis amigos, from Argentina.
No one ever seems to mention cap 2 in the superior sequel arguments. Also none of the Harry Potter films are that great and deathly hallows 2 is mediocre like the rest
+Ian Babcock I talk about this with my friend a lot, neither one of us are fans of the prequels but we both agree that the best thing about the movies is how it expanded and built up the universe. Obviously there are a few things we don't like (i.e. midichlorians and certain aspects of the Jedi code), but overall we think they created an amazingly complex and interesting world, especially if you count some of the expanded universe.
Hannah Spivey I agree. The prequels did expand our ideas of what star wars is. Our concepts of the locations, the species, and the lightsaber combat were all changed by them.
This was an awesome episode. Loved the new 3 judge format, the lack of clutter on the desk (even though I love all the toys,) and the guests were polite, funny, and entertaining. Keep it going guys
Why does this feel like a different world? I miss this so much.
Same man, I'm always rewatching these old episodes for laughs and nostalgia from growing up.
Currently rewatching all of these fights from start to finish… I really miss this era!!
It was a good show. I was almost addicted to it. But sometimes life goes on.
If someone would bring a bunch of cool people together who know a lot of movies and try to reboot it... I would maybe watch. It's a cool concept. *I* love to argue with my friends about movies myself...😅
Screen Junkies VS CinemaSins is clearly the best fight
+Valpas Kankaristo That will sadly never happen!
It already happened. But on Twitter they were just talking and it's a possibility in the future...
+SteveTheDruid it already did
Smokey McJoint Which video?
+Valen Warden that was before THAT happened...
Most civil, intelligent fight, and I'd love to see it: Dan, Chris Stuckmann, and Spencer. Most crazy, insane fight I'd also love to see: Nick, Mike, and Roger.
Add Alicia Malone (underrated) to that first group and it would be awesome
Agreed
+William Rhea So much yes.
Throw in Elijah Wood too
+Katahn Hardy I actually said Dan, Chris S., and Elijah Wood on the video he was in.
I honestly don't think I've laughed this much at a Movie Fights episode! Great job with Ep. 100!
this was not their 100th episode. It was the one year anniversary episode
Um, you do realize this is episode 51, right? Next October will have the 100th episode. This is the one year anniversary of Movie Fights.
See the comment above. (like, right above yours).
Hal gets so much hate that he doesn't deserve.

Controversial!!! Lol
No youre not! Lol Same here, the honest trailers are fun quick videos on a movie, but movie fights covers so many topics spanning from the past to present and to the future. People passionately argue their views, Its a film lovers dream. Love this show

This is probably my favorite episode of Movie Fights lol
Any chance of an episode where all the questions are based on foreign language films? Not mentioning any Jackie Chan fight for best film fight is sacrilegious.
they and their viewers favourite films are based on Marvel comics so probably not......
+sabret00the I was shocked that (Lengend of the) Drunken Master (2) wasn't mentioned!
+sabret00the haha i have to say it really annoyed me not mentioning any jackie chan films nice to see people think the same
+Vivian Lee this was the movie i was screaming for them to say at the screen!
This is probably the best Movie Fights ever! All arguments were solid and laughs a plenty!
One of the best at least. :)
+NeonRazor4 Agree!
+NeonRazor4 And Hal's "...no" is one of the best moments in Movie Fight history xD
what a time to be a movie fan! movie fights at the height of its powers. amc movie talk.

please get Will Weaton for movie fights he would crush it
He is the perfect person to be on movie fights
+Toke Holsting NO, no more guests. Lets just keep the regular players. We already don't get see the likes of Mike, Roger, Jason or Hal enough.
BAM DC so Andy telling us to suggest people to come on the show is what...wrong??
Will Weaton would be badass he's a true sweatty Geek.
Toke Holsting Yes and No
Andy please ignore him and get us Will Weaton.
It's sad that we live in a world where the movies up for debate are Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2, and Harry Potter, and Harry Potter wins.
+Isaac DuBois "What is the best sequel that is superior to it's predecessor" was the question. Empire, and T2 are both better movies than DH pt. 2, but they both followed a fantastic first movie. 1) Orson Welles
2) Captain America: Winter Soldier
3) Front Man/Rhythm Guitar: Frank (Fassbender), Lead Guitar: Russell
Hammond from Stillwater, Bass: Scott Pilgrim, Drums: Miles Teller from
Whiplash. Genre = experimental
4) Reverse De Niro & Pacino's roles from Heat, throw in some
elements from Se7en, set it in present day.
5) Kevin Smith
6) Roddy Piper vs Keith David from _They Live_
Congrats on one year, guys!
That ending killed my sides. Bravo, Hal xD
"...No."
yes. so much yes for including frank
WTF, NO ONE SAID MICHEAL BAY?
+Ezra Daßer I feel like that actually happened 😂
+bj11755 well he gets hate because he just makes mindless CGI garbage now
Of course he does but the reason he gets more hate than the dozen other big holiwood directors who make even worse mindless CGI garbage are the reasons ive already said.

So you have these TV screens behind you with the Movie Fights logo. Any chance one of them can always have the Scoreboard up?
Other than that, fantastic year, guys! Keep up the good work!
That's actually a great idea
+Pete Jaarsma I asked Andy that very question on twitter and his reply was "no. they don't work like that."
+Pete Jaarsma that was a great idea !
Best sequel superior? My personal favorite is Spider-Man 2 but you can't go wrong with: The Dark Knight, Godfather 2, Captain America: Winter Soldier
+Josh Jelks My favourite sequel is Spiderman 2.
+Jamie Chipper yeah. Good catch.
+Josh Jelks Aliens is hands down the best sequel of all time. A superior film to Alien on every level.
sorkin should definitely do a Nikola tesla biopic
+Conor Beggs that would be very interesting!
Damn I swear I thought that too !! Tesla was the first person that came to my mind. That movie would be awesome.
Best movie fight? Ip Man vs 10 black belts.
+superchief86 I know!!! either that or the majority of the RAID no idea why neither was picked!!
+superchief86 bit disappointed with the choices, kinda agree with the matrix, but crouching tiger hidden dragon should of had a mention
++Screen Junkies Cannot believe you guys did not upload NYC Comic Con Movie Fight!!! where Dan and Spencer got owned by a Fan!!!!!
+superchief86 ip man vs the boxer dude i cried
+Yanil Rosario Shit I wanna see that
Hopefully now Cinemasins can join you again. Ridiculous thing to fight over, glad it's resolved.
What happened at the end ?
What happened?
+Mike Ock I'd have to respectfully disagree with you Mike; i don't think it's a silly argument. However i do want them to resolve the issue and go back to being friends.
+Kai1 they have, just look on twitter
+Travis Grimes go to the screen junkies facebook page to read about it. cinemasins deleted the video.
The best movie fight of all time is ip man vs 10 Blackbelts. Just a beautiful beautiful fight.
"Wanna exchange"
"If Hal agrees"
"no"
ROFL
cristian making up night falls was gold
+AQWMalkoir best moment in moviefights history. Why doesnt anyone ever do that now lol
+AvatarRoku Spencer Gilbert actually tried to do it again in one of the speed rounds a few weeks back, I can't remember which one it was though...
The audio is so much better. Instead of turning up to 85 i can turn it to 35, way to go Screen Junkies!
#Botanicus
Why is Spencer the only one who seems to be mature during these? Never seems like he's being treated unfairly and even if he is he just says "ahh whatever I'm over it"
The movie musicians fight should have been limited to ficticious characters, not characters from biopics. Which is why Spencer was the right choice.
+Nick Antony agreed, and even with biopics as choices they should of stuck to strickly biopics (throwing in ficticious characters ruined the biopic ones).
He also didn't put Prince and Mozart in the same band.
Tim Walden thats a good observation, sneaky Hal
Im allways waiting for this every sunday.
'You didn't pick Prince, which was faulty from the get go' literally has me dying. Best Movie Fight quote ever.
why do they keep on saying that interstellar was a bad movie, you can debate whether or not the characters are good or whether or not a love story is required, but the story makes perfect sense (which is something they seem to forget all the time) you just have to know some physics
yup
+Juan Perez it's their opinion.
+Juan Perez you're saying no shit to me?? When you just completely disregarded the fact movies are subjective and basically said they "can't" say interstellar is bad, when they definitely can.
josh blanksbyt hey can but they are wrong opinions can be wrong
***** are you 12?
Hal stole Max Landis's idea for a Donald Trump biography.
yeah thats what I thought.
+Mike Honcho like you would not watch it
Jack Lovejoy
I didn't say I wouldn't watch it. Say what you want about Trump but he is very interesting. It could be like a mixture between Wolf of Wall Street and There Will Be Blood.
Mike Honcho
and Birth of a Nation
+Jack Lovejoy i wouldn't
he annoys me everytime i see his face
The showerroom fight from Eastern Promises is by far one of the most visceral fights ever
+eddievangraham Also solidified my theory that naked dudes never die in movies.
+eddievangraham what I said
+RetepAdam naked people die in Schindler's List though... nonetheless that fight is solid
Agreed
Dan defends that belt less than Nikki Bella did.
Yeah but Dan actually talented
Don't be knocking Nikki now. She's been bringing it in the ring for the past few months. She's gained my respect with her recent work.
Dan's probably only defended that strap 3 times total in the last year tho. The champ should be forced to defend the title at least once a month!
+Styles Bitchley So, one quarter of the total shows.
+Styles Bitchley He has to lose twice for the belt to be on the line.
He just doesn't take part enough for it to happen.
+KnightAlbert just wondering do you watch nxt
Dat dirty play by Hal at the end, LOVED IT
BY FAR the best movie fight yet. couldn't stop laughing. Get these 3 on the show regularly.
Why the hell does this have so many dislikes ? Ungrateful people
+Wesley Crawford because stupid things like chris nolan should stop directing, and hal and nick being REALLY annoying...
+Pat TheRedman YNWA hal was actually legitimately entertaining this time and Nick is never annoying he just isn't serious. People are TOO sensitive
+Pat TheRedman YNWA I bet you had fun once. It was awful wasn't it?
Pat TheRedman YNWA also I would understand being bothered by the chris nolan choice if they agreed but they definitely did not agree with him
Wesley Crawford ok hal was actually ok this time, but jesus never put nick and hal in the same fight lol.
Sorry. The Visit is actually pretty decent. He's making a comeback.
+Eko Tsurugi They didnt use that for an argument, otherwise Hal wouldn't of won that round, i was surprised nobody did
+Eko Tsurugi A single "actually pretty decent" movie shouldn't really be called making a comeback.
No, but it is certainly a step forward and you can't not give some credit towards it. You go from a pile of shit rated zero or two to something that's about a six or seven and that's a fucking improvement.
Cot cot compared to his shit fest...its a breath of fresh air.
"Come out come out wherever you are..
I WANT SOME FUCCIN VENGEANCE!!"
Lmao!
Hal Rudnick is hilarious.
If you are talking about The Way Of The Gun...that was a bad attempt to pull a Harloff.
+DariusMakesContent it's moreso sad that it wasn't a joke.
Etc. Really
*IP man fights
This was the most times i've just laughed out loud: the montage, the walkout, the night falls pitches, and the "No!" from Rudnick.
Classic Hal at the end. "No..." Ha! Awesome! Keep it up Hal!
You should have a single guest fighter Skype question each week. that was my favorite part of this episode
besides Hals "No"
This might be my favorite movie fights of all time
It was great to see all the original fighters come back for a rematch and to see this episode celebrate Movie fights one year anniversary.
I miss movie fights
1:32:17
That was a brilliant move from Hal xd
+The Wilfred This was such a great, fun, funny episode. Congrats to all on 1 year! Thanks for all the laughs! ICONIC.
+Southern Oklahoma Radio Center Ardmore swaaaaaaaaaan!!
that was incredible this is the greatest show in the world. I literally rewatched Hal saying "no" to the switch with spencer like three times that was priceless. Only on movie fights....... Happy one year guys!
We HAVE TO see the deleted fight!!
Walter Shmitty on see news
Deathly Hallows Part 1 isn't terrible o_o What the hell are they talking about.
I thought it was a solid flick
Conor Beggs Me too.
Same
+Bruno Silva Actually it is though. Wear your glasses.
cloudparter It's actually just opinion, though.
"I'm sorry I blew my load"
-Nick Mundy
Hahaha that dude slays me! Great episode! Kudos to everyone.
Best movie fight: King Kong vs V-Rex's, from King Kong (2005)
It's pretty good :)
For best sequels why did nobody pick the dark knight?
It's good, but it's overrated
Thegohan457 It may be not as good as people say but it's still a great film. Plus it's better than batman begins so it would have been a good answer to the question but I think it is a bit overrated. It's like number 4 on the best movies on imdb which is a bit ridiculous.
***** dude that movie is so overrated, it's called the Dark Knight but I never hear anyone talk about Batman. It's a great movie, but overrated.
+Michael Regan I could see the Dark Knight, but personally I'd pick Aliens.
+Thegohan457 lol and Terminator, HP Part 2, and Empire Strikes Back aren't???
Best Movie Fights episode! I love Hal, and that last move was AMAZING. Everyone around me was wondering why I was laughing so hard.
0:14 Ummmmm wonder were that car money went.....
We need a C.Nolan waffles poster.
+Jaime Carlander at around 1:02:00 minute mark.
Cheers
Love watching movie fights. So happy I stumbled upon it with the first episode a year ago. Such a fan, congrats on 1 year!
If they're going to get into the semantics of Knight vs. Night, then they should get into the semantics of "cameo". Both Hal and Nick had Pacino as a co-star, not a cameo.
Sequel being better than the first...The raid 2
I want to see future fights consist more of the Raid films when it comes to action movie questions.
Wrong
Aaron VargasNV Same
Hayden Russell kl
+Aaron VargasNV they won't because unless its a blockbuster, they hate the movie, like when Dan argued for the Raid but it was dismissed because "no one has seen it"
That part with the Genie and the Mask answer swap was hilarious!!! Congrats on the 1 year guys! Keep em coming
I was surprised nobody chose any of the lightsaber fights from any of the SW movies for best fight.
What is this cut footage they're talking about!? I want to see it!
I would have marty mcfly on guitar he'll make sure every performance is perfect ahead of time
+joe smith Scott pilgrim on guitar
+Matthew Rosen lol truee perfect
+Matthew Rosen Scott Pilgrim played bass.
+themissingpatient fine scott pilgrim on bass
Happy 1 year anniversary to Movie Fights!! May you have another great year!!!
+Stealthy Statistician Drunken Master OMG SOOOOOOO GOOD!
+Stealthy Statistician Drunken Master or Legend of Drunken Master?
AlphaProto Legend my bad
Big shout out from India, you guys are AWESOME! I watch you guys every week religiously. Congrats on completing 1 year and keep going! (Andy you're a great host)
Captain America The winter soldier for the best sequel
+Eric Cartman It's not better than The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or The Godfather Part II
We need Adam from YMS!!
So glad to be here for the first anniversary since I started watching way back on that first week!
Best sequel better then predecessor: Star Wars V or Cap America Winter Solider
Best movie fight: either King Kong vs V-Rexs or Aragorn vs Lurtz because it's completely practical including the knife throw
Also band from musicians: Doof Warrior from mad max, Andrew from Whiplash, merry and pippin as singers, and cantina band
+Jacob Hando the boromir vs all the orcs/uruks (i can't remember which type they were) was also pretty bad ass but good pick with the Aragorn vs Kurtz fight!
+Mr Itanimulli yeah I like the Boromir fight but the choreography isn't as badass as when Lurtz throws the shield and pins Aragorn to the tree haha
+Jacob Hando Best sequel, Aliens.
I like the Aragon choice. I thought the gladiator fight with Russell Crowe and the gladiators vs the chariot guys. Insane good fight
quiting making movies? MICHAEL BAY? CHRISTOPHER NOLAN ARE YOU FUCKIN SERIOUS NICK?
YOU SAY TOMATO, I SAY JIM MORRISON FROM THE DOORS... best line ever! Hope we see it in the compilation next year!
People dislike by not even watching the whole video...
Yes, those trolls suck
What! No one picked the Dark Knight as a sequel that out did the first movie?
That "No" from Spencer at 48:17 combined with Mundy's pitch absolutely killed me.
Happy 1 year!
All of your bands in round three are WRONG.
The real winner:
Vocals - Calliope from Hercules
Lead Guitar - Marty McFly
Rhythm Guitar - August Rush
Keyboard - Beethoven from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Drums - Willy Hall from Blues Brothers
+Alaethancar I picked Marty as well and Beethoven was my second choice for Keyboard. I ultimately didn't go with him, because he's not a made up character. Check out my comment!
How come no one picked the Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris fight ?
Due to the thumbnail, I thought someone was going to pick a Bruce Lee fight for that last question.
+Aaron VargasNV Did he even get mentioned ? I didn't hear it
+Emre Saladin I didn't hear anything about him either which disappoints me.
Aaron VargasNV Yes it disappointed me too. I hoped somebody would've picked the last fight of Enter The Dragon. That was an epic fight.
+Mikkel Voigt because that was more of an ass whopen than a fight
Happy Anniversary!!! This was another great movie fight!
PS: Cannot believe you guys did not upload NYC Comic Con Movie Fight!!! where Dan and Spencer got owned by a Fan!!!!!
Best movie fight = Jackie Chan vs Ken Lo in Drunken Master 2 aka The Legend of Drunken Master.
Best action movie after 2001 = Mad Max: Fury Road.
What is the best movie to watch with your partner?
Also, celebrating the Back to the Future 2 anniversary, what is the best moment in the franchise?
+Vasco2024 Lost In Translation and Her, perhaps?
Gone Girl
As a fan who watched all of the movie fights and stuck with you guys from the beginning, I demand that deleted scene to be posted. And I'm not the demanding person type.
Did Nick just say Nolan should stop making movies? Nick's hilarious at times, but good Lord that was the most ridiculous and least thought-out pitch I've ever heard. Nick, if you're reading this, I sincerely hope you have realized the fault of your statement. Also, Interstellar was an amazing movie; I have no idea how anyone can think anything else of it.
+Ioannis Tsangarides He moreso made an argument for why he Shouldnt quit
I miss the toys and figures on the desk
+Isaiah Lapierre but still love, one year woo!
+John Big Boss Go To Hell Have you seen the prisoner of azkaban
+Matthew Rosen fanboy? No seriously, HP are weak films. Read the books.
The third ones great everything else is a weak film
Matthew Rosen
I'll give it a rewatch, then.
it has a 96% on RT. I think a lot of people disagree with you.
Somebody should ask "What was the best part about the Star Wars prequels?"
It's a no-brainer: the light sabre fights
The mr plinkett reviews
+Ian Babcock I talk about this with my friend a lot, neither one of us are fans of the prequels but we both agree that the best thing about the movies is how it expanded and built up the universe. Obviously there are a few things we don't like (i.e. midichlorians and certain aspects of the Jedi code), but overall we think they created an amazingly complex and interesting world, especially if you count some of the expanded universe.
Hannah Spivey I agree. The prequels did expand our ideas of what star wars is. Our concepts of the locations, the species, and the lightsaber combat were all changed by them.
+Ian Babcock The credits.
This was an awesome episode. Loved the new 3 judge format, the lack of clutter on the desk (even though I love all the toys,) and the guests were polite, funny, and entertaining. Keep it going guys
Totally agree with Nick on Chris Nolan. That dude gotta go.
+Nikita Belomestnykh You should probably leave now.
