  • The Oystercatcher taking inspiration from the bird,is a nice modern hair wing colour combination that has proven effective in Scotland and Scandinavia. This is technically a variant, but it fits the pattern closely. Nice pattern. This is a fly I've seen used for Atlantic Salmon in Canada on the East Coast. I don't know why, but the tail tends to be shortened significantly. Maybe a Canadian adaption or a regulation. I like the long tail really.
