Negra, thank you for having me on, because of your platform I’ve met so many awesome people that I’m now connected with and helping them go through the process of their loved ones incarceration. God bless you and your family.
Ay brother you have a light in you that can make others joyful and safe I can see it through the screen… god bless you homie. Keep being positive and stay up!
This is one of the best episodes. I can really relate. I chose to go Christian and had a very similar experience. Life only got better. I have never been back since 05. God is good. My life continues to get better to this very day. Many blessings and respect to Boxer.
Shout out to JoJo!!! He is a firme vato. I met him later in life when he was a substance abuse counselor. He was my supervisor, got mad love for this dude. What a great feature.
MANNNN!!! I thought by looking at the thumbnail this was going to be an interview with the newly released Rene “Boxer” Enriquez shows me to read the fine print lol
Great interview. Boxer - praise God for saving you at the right time. His time. your story gave me goosebumps from the moment you were saved to when you were paroled.
damn bro , i’m a youngster abt to be 20 and went to both Giano and Nogales ! i love listening to these stories and just hearing abt how life really was for those back in the day who were abt that life , blessings to you both Negra and Boxer !!
JoJo is a good guy. He did time with my son Scarecrow from Redondo. We got to meet his wife/son/parents when he was in Chino YTS. Glad to see him home, my entire family has read his book.
Hey Negra, a big thank you for hosting my Brother JoJo. He helped me tremendously when I was lost. I know God sent JoJo into my life to disciple me and love me like a Brother…
The fact i shed some tears when he talked about his 4 yr old nephew passing its crazy cause i have a 4 yr old son rn and idk what i would do without him cause hes my only son i also have two older daughters
Pretty much what I've been through I'VE DONE 4 DIFFERENT TERMS COUNTLESS NUMBER OF VIOLATIONS OF Parole but 11 yrs altogether. May God bless him and his family always. 🙂👍
I just started watching your videos and watching this video was super awesome! Thank you negra for sharing peoples life. It reminds me of my pops stories.
Cool to hear about his family being Marines. I grew up in Covina/Azusa and ended up moving to Ontario and I joined the Marines. Shoutout to all our Latinos in the military 🤙🏼
Shout out to Big Tubbs from City Terrace…he shot me JoJo’s book while we were in reception in Delano back in 2019. Both of our old asses were in there doing some wino time tripping on how much shit changed from back when we used to do time back in the day. This book occupied 3 days of my mind, it’s a good read. Salute JoJo, a good dude with a solid wife that rode along with him throughout his entire dilemma.
Damn Boxer, I stood down the street from dial. I'm about 6 years older but was from the T. I never ran into u cause I catching fades with a grip of ur homies. All my family is from ur hood that I know u should know. Hope u do firme loco.
I actually found a tik tok and went to the youtube. So glad i found it. Great interview and God will always turn pain into purpose. God Bless him and his family
WOWWWW 🙌🏽 what a testimony! There's just some testimonies that you just can't rush through, every detail is pertinent to the moral of the story. Makes me emotional because all these people are able to talk about their life story and how they made it to the other side, but my brother will never have this opportunity. He's not dead, but he's not there anymore if you know what I mean. I blame my mom for being his enabler, for babysitting my dad instead of taking care of her son, he ran to the streets looking for love, protection and attention. La calle lo adoptó y se convirtió en su familia, I never imagined his life would turn out like it did. His criminal career started at 12, getting locked up by 13. Something happened to him, somebody did something to him that shaped him to be what he's become. But with a mother like mine and "abandoned" by his father (allegedly per my mom) he never had a chance in life 💔 Only a miracle from God can save him and I pray God will have mercy on his and my mothers soul.
Great story the best part "this is gonna go to a twist in the story" and bam he gives his life to God and turns into a totally different ending....and background about doing time in that manner....and great story teller....Saludos Blessings to Negra and Boxer!
My sister and me went to school with Jojo and his wife I remember all that he talks about , even playing baseball with him at lp little league down to the orange pinto he drove 😂
That’s crazy my grandma live on arroyo seco for years. I went to loreto and nightingale. And I remember her telling me about that guy that died on those stairs. I was little when that happened. But I always drive my and visit those areas. Rip to my grandma Paula Duran she was the grandma on the block. Little old house that everyone knew
