The attention and focus Jon gives to his guests and the fact that he doesn’t interrupt mid interview is amazing and truly appreciated
Fr podcasters should take notes..shut the hell up sometimes!!why do you bring on a guest to just interject your thoughts and over talk the guest?!!!
Politically, Yes!@@dtrell2897
The guy is an actor dude … he may be thinking about a game but makes you believe he’s paying attention
When Conejo was on drugs on the run for murder in Mexico connecting with his spiritual side he dropped some of the best and most intense hip hop ive ever heard.
Which ones
@@_Ahkilaburned out, dangerous game, I’m tormented, nightmare never ends, nightmare, my life is a novel, cry for me, I’m the wrong individual, carnival of souls, sur is one blood 1 and 2, Mexican tears, brown monster. " I don't feel like a celebrity... Im a regular homie like you guys. "
Dude has a crazy story. Came from a dark place to make it out shining.
This interview was intense. I felt so much anxiety listening to all his stories. I’m happy he’s here, alive, and well 🙏
Love how John listens to his guests with a true interest and respect
He tries hard because he can’t relate
@@The10lsand4 He can and can't. Conejo has a crazy story, and a lot of people couldn't survive what be did.
@@The10lsand4 any good podcaster is the middle ground from relating and not relating bruh take some notes
He’s an actor
@@The10lsand4who can relate?
This man's music was part of my life's soundtrack in the early 2000s.
Jonnie B is the best interviewer out there right now. He doesn’t just sit, stay quite, and hear. He “listens”. There’s a difference. He let’s people talk and comebacks with things they said 10-20 minutes before asking meaningful questions.
I love how Jon can just connect with anyone he interviews. He has such intense focus.
Shout out to Jon for having the legendary CONejo and telling his story even though we all know it it’s good to see conejo do good
Yeah, Conejo will turn 50 in a few days from now. Gives ppl the true perspective. I'm also glad he is doing well too!
Bunny 🐇 Rabbit 🐰 Stop 🛑 the Cap 🐰🐇🤦🤦
Love how these guys don’t interrupt every 5min like other podcasters do, they actually let the guy talk 👏🏻
This part.
Of all the stereotypical "celebrity starting a podcast" type gigs, you, Jon, are the only one who actually set yourself apart and provide a real unique perspective as well as a lot of value in yourself and the guests you bring on.
theres actually lots of great ones
Like Conejo said "in the City of Angels there are no Angels puros vatos locos and crazy gangbangers" So much truth to that
Been a CONEJO fan since 98
Finally put out the full interview! Conejo’s life could easily be made into a movie. Hollywood take note. ✍️
We need that. Orale west side, Big SUR
They too busy making a Barbie remake.
The Tax Collector has elements of Conejo’s life portrayed in the movie.
U funny blah
Conejo was in Training day for a scene. Back when he was in the life. I’m glad he made it, OG Conejo is a real one
I think this is the first and only podcast I’ve heard so far where they let the guest speak with no interruptions and they just listen.
This was HANDS DOWN the best PODCAST episode ever!
I agree
Better than the Shia LaBeouf episode?
@@lavishlex Both great, THIS IS BY FAR A BETTER EPISODE!!! If you read between the lines, Conejo is a different kind of MF! and his story is that of many homies but we never hear about it. only in a MYTHICAL LEGEND kind of way. Many people like myself was raised around this kind of dude so to hear his story, is beyond imagination. and that JUST BASED ON WHAT HE SHARED!
💯 best interview
kurt angle
Conejo needs a movie asap definitely would dope to watch his story on film.
We need a movie about the last 3 days leading up to the capture. It be a SICK film. Let’s make it happen Jon Bernthal!!!!!
Conejo life is one to remember.
I'm not crying but my tears are coming out
Been waiting for this one. Shout out to conejo & Jon thanks for making this happen
I’ve been ducking this story for whatever reason but now that I’ve heard it I’m blown away…that part of where he mentioned his daughter screaming really hit me
That time spent over here in Mex reallly humbled Conejo and turned him into the wise man he is today.
You gotta watch every Conejo interview get more details of his same story and every interview has you on the edge of your seat! Definitely a powerful story, blessings and success your way Rabbit!
For some reason this hit deeper but your right , maybe it’s cuhz I heard his story countless of times and I know how deep it gets ,
In each interview he says things he didn’t say in the others I think he did that so they wouldn’t all be the same yk give the people something different but most of it is the same just put in a different way
This is probably the one dude I would want to hear talk about the hood. Such a dope interview and popped up randomly
I used to work at the same spot as him back in 2000 different departments. I would be on break and he’d be on his lunch and I’d pack a bowl of chronic and smoke him out and he would tell me stories.
Crazy story & awesome to see how well he's doing now! You do an exceptional job interviewing your guests and allowing them to tell their stories!
Jon Bernthal is a celebrity listening so intensely. He’s a good man.
I remember Conejo selling his CDs from a backpack @ la mirada swap meet back late 90s this vato is hard

Conejo is 🔥 been listening to him since I was 14 years old, I’m 32 now , “mad at the world “ he wasn’t scared to diss lil rob, sir dyno, mad Glock , lil one , shadow,
I learned about him from the Tax Collector but never knew all of this. Crazy the man has lived life and been in dark places but has made his way into the sun.
Yup. His music from back then was dope asf. U should check it out.
he was stone cold in Tax Collector mad love for this guy
Conejo Jose is from my area Im just a little west and growing up in the hood it was crazy back then. I love to see how he has evolved into a humble and respectful person. He is very intelligent I wish him nothing good luck and may God Bless him.
In 2018 I beat life out of Long Beach court . At the time I looked up to conejo … I’m out now . He continues to inspire me today just on a whole other level .
Jon seems like one of the most humblest dudes ever just lets people speak and asks the right questions to let the guest get into detail
One of the best conversations ever recorded!
Crazy. I remember being a youngster about 16 or 17 and hearing about conejo going on the run. Always banged his music
Pretty interesting on how this is Conejo’s all time best interview ever , he doesn’t do a lot , he’s a done a few but for some reason , this one is very impactful ! First few mins got me hooked and got me listening to every word . Very deep stuff
His music has got me thru a lot these past 13 years. And his new album The Reset is amazing. His songs H.O.P.E & Momento get me Everytime respect to Conejo and sharing his story.
G-Rabbs💙 you deserve a proper biofilm man!!! Cmon this man wrote some of the most impressive pieces if rap music ive ever heard. I moved to jalisco to learn Mexican culture and i was submerged in the sureno culture and they got me hip and i bought everything I could of his music at the pulgar.
My brother was a Conejo and part of the 85% that passed away in 2021 after trying to survive that Mexico life for 11years!
I feel you! I got deported and had to learn the hard way not to mess around. I know a gang of homies that passed still stuck in that LA gang banging mentality. I’ve been in Mexico for 11 years now and got my life together. Saludos to your bro!
This was a the best podcast I’ve listened to! It was so captivating that the time flew right to the end.
I grew up on conejo my dad would bump him while I was kid till now I’m 23. I remember when he got busted I thought he was going down glad that he beat the case his music is so raw man. The best Chicano rapper hands down. Much respect and love g rabbs

No truer words have been spoken. On speaking to his past enemies. We’re from the same neighborhoods and we made it out of there. It was crazy! Yes it was! Grown man shit. That life was a waste of time in a grown man’s eyes. God is good.
