I’m always amazed at how people carry on about construction labour costs and union bash, they have enough trouble now attracting trades just imagine you cut the wages? Let’s lead with council costs, why do the pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for the CEO of councils?? They aren’t worth that. The average hours are 36 🤷♂️ how many work those hours in construction. State governments and their consultants?? More 100’s of thousand’s per person. Plenty of fat to be cut back before you look at the trades.
Just because someone isnt in arrears or defaulting doesn't mean they are not suffering mortgage stress. Most will do everything to keep a roof over their head, so the suffering is happening everywhere else. Make no mistake the suffering is from the high mortgage costs.

@@MichaelYardney like all buyers agents he seems to be positive about price growth in certain areas eg Melbourne etc Where I disagree is that no areas are going to grow. In fact prices are likely to fall. Have you heard of Stephen Koukoulas?
