SUMMER IN DUBLIN was released as a single in June 1980 reaching # 4 in the Irish charts and remaining in the charts for 16 weeks . The song was released again in June 1994 and reached # 18 in the Irish charts and stayed in the charts for 5 weeks . SUMMER IN DUBLIN is the band's most requested song when Bagatelle play their international tours, and indeed their homeland gigs .

I used to work at Casper and Gumbinis on Wicklow Street on a student work exchange 1983. I met the band there as customers . Great guys . It became my favorite album. I just heard this song tonight in an Irish pup in Bowmanville Ontario Canada. 40 years later and still a classic. Great memories of Ireland 🇮🇪
