*I'M GLAD YOU ARE NOT **_MY_** VETERINARIAN! WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR LICENSE? STUNT THE GROWTH? LOSE WEIGHT? PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM MY HORSES! SMARTPAK, PLEASE STICK TO SELLING STUFF AND LET PEOPLE GET ADVICE FROM THEIR OWN VETERINARIANS.*

@@HeatherDMorris I'll try to say this nicely because I am a Christian. I know what I heard, and I just don't agree at all, okay?

Duh, yes! Too much soy and your horse can tie up! My horse had NO health issues and tied up! The vet was there for four hours! This is the most stupid video I have ever seen, and I love Smartpak!

That might be an issue with soy. I heard recently that soy isn’t all that healthy for horses ( especially pregnant horses) . I mean, too much soy isn’t good for us either. Unfortunately soy is in most supplements that I use so I had to find a special feed for my mares.

@@Hulachowdown My former veterinarian suggested I add soy to my horse's feed. Of course she was out of town the Sunday he tied up. Her colleague came out and immediately started my horse on an I.V. She asked me who told me to give my horse that much soy. I told her and she was honest enough to say that the veterinarian she worked for was wrong. She stuck around for four hours to give him two I.Vs wide open, and to wait for him to urinate. She said if his urine was dark that would be a bad sign of renal failure. Thank God, when he did urinate it was light. I also knew what tying up was. So, before the vet got there, I tied him so he couldn't move and threw a blanket on his hindquarters. His hindquarters were like a rock for almost two months.
