Once you have the ingredients you make can batch after batch so yes it’s cheaper. 2 boxes of Chex, box of pretzels, and a box of cheese it’s will make a ridiculous amount of Chex mix.
For some reason when I click on the recipe link my phone goes black and shows me nothing 🤷 how much butter do you use? And have you ever made it with white AND milk chocolate chip morsels?
I use margarine. Parkay. I actually did not like butter. Margarine tastes way better in mix. Never had a complaint and I make easily over 50 pounds a year for family. I use cashews too.
This technique most likely won’t result in as crispy of a result as you would get if you used the oven, but definitely a good alternative for those short on time or without an oven.

What can I substitute for butter ?
try vegan butter or coconut oil. XOXO -Monti

I think EVOO would make a great substitute plus enhance the flavor of the seasonings.
