hi, A few days ago I bought a 4ms Ensemble Oscillator, as I was impressed by its sound. Maybe you could help me with a question: At first I have to say that I am a beginner, ok. I connect the Oscillator to an adsr but there are always the sounds with a long tail, it does not stop cutting the sound when I want to make a short envelope. Could you tell me if this is normal or give me some tips to solve this. Thank you very much in advance, Javier
@@andrearicci9189 Hello Andeas and thanks for answering :)) 1.through the vca, gate sequencer to adsr input and output adsr to the vc of the vca, so, if I make a long envelope, I can notice how the note lengthens, until here normal, but if I make a short envelope, it doesn't work . 2. gate sequencer to adsr input and output adsr to any of the Oscillator ensemble inputs, in this way the sound changes completely depending on where you plug in the signal, the envelope works but there is always a queue that does not stop. Thanks in advance, Javier
hello @@franciscojavierquintanamon6505 , 1. it should work i tried with bastl skis who is a decay +vca and have no problem, i did a similar patch on vcv (you can find in the following link a screenshot imgur.com/lnM8z4E ); 2. in that way you're going to control a parameter on enosc so it will act in a total different way.
@@andrearicci9189 Hi Andrea, I have seen the patch in the vcv rack and it is just the way I have it connected, it is a simple patch, precisely for that reason I am surprised that it does not work, the envelope only works in part, if I make a short envelope, you can appreciate cut but behind follows that unwanted tail. I also have a Mutable Vco plaits and the envelope works perfectly. Anyway, thanks for the help, I think I'll give it back, it makes me sad because the Vco has an incredible richness of sound. Ciao and gracias
I've got the 4ms sprectral multiband resonator and I somehow think it's a bit of an updated version of it, more interesting updates features that come with it. if you have SMR, I'd be intrigued to hear your comparison. thanks for the review
I don’t think I’ve ever had the spread up as high as it is for most of this video. Might do so now though…
Great demo
Amazing demo
Thanks!
Insane harmonics so lush 😎👌🏽
I know right. So many interesting sounds

did you try to use vca?

Incredible, incredible, incredible 🤯 also, curious...what cables might you be using? Thx again!
Thanks for the nice comment! Those are custom made cables for the store.
great demo, this module is a beast, good price point also
Love it!
Thanks for the positive feedback :)
Color Tip: Push your colors more towards green and will look white like it's supposed to.
That’s why I paid extra and got a black one

yes...i think the same as you...(sorry for my english)..I have a SMR and a Quadnic.....seems that this one is more clean sounding..
@@jeffwackenthal7725 good to know, thanks
Haven't spent much time with the SMR for a comparison unfortunately.
cant see controls with hands :S
Yeah was a bit of a demo knob with this video. Try to stay out of the way next time :)
Warning: 1:00 (tinnitus inducing eardrum ripper)
Absolutely fantastic demo tho!
It does get loud. Thanks for your kind comments!
Boring.
Thanks for the feedback. Will try to be more entertaining next time :)
@@AnimatoAudio I meant the module, not your presentation :-) And I ordered one anyway :-)
@@AnimatoAudio It's great, best "straightforward" knobs demo on youtube, thanks Animato
marc sebastopol ??????
Not sure where you're coming from if you think the module is boring but ordered it anyway. What do you think about it now?
