Self-Hate is real. The amount of black women defending NON-BLACK Erica and blaming the producers for “airing” it, but not holding Erica accountable for saying her RACIST words is disturbing. Erica has used this term many times many times: Stevie J, Johnni Blaze and club promoters. She needs to be held accountable. Not only should she not be on the “next season” she needs to be permanently banned. Don’t argue with me, argue with yourself. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
“I can’t trigger you to be a racist” this needs to be on a billboard, a shirt, books or any type a support that will allow the masses see and deeply understand these words
“You can't just apologize because your pocket is being affected” wow Spice, well said!. We should no longer accept excuses. The best way to punish racists is to attack the money that feeds them. This is more impactful and powerful.
the fact that Erica laughed when Yandy said she was offended shows out of touch she is! she is RACIST and she shows it in this clip. im glad they showed her for who she is!
Maybe Latinos feel superior over people who are darker I remember being at a park and hearing 2 Latinos say don't mess with black Puerto Ricans and they also put down Mexicans that are darker
When Spice said, “At the end of the day, no matter what anyone else say, I came out as the winner because I revealed a racist” that shit gave me the chills👏🏾👏🏾
@@unclehowdeydivein Your comment let's me know you didn't watch the whole video. If you watched the WHOLE video she took accountability. But either way she DIDN’T TALK ABOUT HER SON, SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT HER PARENTING!!!!! Why can't y'all get that through y'all small ass brain? If you watched the video they talked about that. They even showed the video of Scrappy talking about Erica’s parenting and she didn't call him a monkey. And she can't talk about anybody. Because out of all the cast members Erica comes for almost everybody's parenting skills. So what makes her different when they come for hers? Seeing the scene with Scrappy and compare it to Spice it let's me know no matter how mad Erica gets she still has her common sense when she argues, she knew exactly what she did and said.
@@mrspatilla85 like I told the other dude, SHE DIDN’T TALK ABOUT HER SON SHE TALKED ABOUT HER PARENTING!!!!! And if you go back and watch many other episodes Erica is the main one that always come for other people's parenting. So let me ask you a question. What makes it different for Erica talking about other people's parenting skills verses Spice talking about Erica’s parenting skills?
@Vicky-98 it's a huge conversion about Erica Mena in general but about this particular subject...once u bring up kids, parenting... all bets are off. Which is why children, parents, family related is off limits... Erica calling Spice a monkey wasn't being racist. Spice is no victim. (In my opinion)..Erica thinks Spice is not an attractive female, who looks ridiculous with that horrible blue wig, and resembles a monkey, and in the heat of the moment, called her a monkey. In Retaliation for bringing up her son not liking her.
Exactly! She always thinks she’s better than black people. She is known for doing it! There is nothing to justify her actions. Spice was wrong but Erica hurt a whole group of people with those words
Black people as a whole, didn’t start the colorism war. But also as black people, we keep it up and it’s so disheartening and disgusting to see. We have to come together and do better
Yandi called Peter and amina monkeys season 4 episode 7...my question is is it ok if it's withing the same race...its confusing...erica was totally wrong
This discussion gave me an entirely new respect for Scrappy and Joc. They made very good points, they listened, and their perspectives were very necessary and enlightening. The show doesn't display the cast's intelligence enough, I hope to see more of it going forward.
For every saying they dragging this, Erica NEEDS to be dragged after years of using racial slurs and getting away with it💯💯 Im so proud of the cast for not giving her a pass🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yandy Smith called Erica Mena a Monk3y 5 times on Ebro Hot 97 interview May 22, 2015 8 years ago. GOOGLE IT! 😂😂 They all call each other Monk3y A$$ H03, A$$ Monk3y & Everything else. This some Bull 💩 Stevie J called Mimi & her friends $lut Monk3y’s. Ahkbar called chicks Monk3y A$$ H03. They are intentionally poking at Erica Mena after allowing ppl to disrespect her child & bring him up year after year
Yandy saying she didn’t think Erica understood what she was saying and then trying to check Scrappy makes no sense. Joc was right, Erica knew what she was saying was racist.
Y'all didn't listen...she said when she heard she was saying to no way she said that she must not know..but when she spoke to Erica she realised that Erica knew exactly what she was saying
@@nickylnras usual there re those who either don’t listen well or don’t comprehend well, but Yandy did not take up for Erica. Glad you understood what she meant.
The fact that she call her a monkey so quick and easy can show and tell you how many times she thought it or said it behind her back. Her reaction to spice comments was brewing more likely from the time she sat down.
You're speaking facts there, it always bothered me as a white woman also that she would always use the N word on the show too so often. Like why did no1 ever pull her on that.
Exactly what Joc said!!! They want us to educate her because maybe she “doesn’t know” what the slur means. She DEFINITELY knew what she was saying!!! She’s too immersed in our culture to not know!! Like she said out of her own mouth, she wanted to violate her. WE DO NOT need to teach anyone how to treat us. We’re the only race that does this.
She definitely knows how deep it cuts! She thinks it's just water under a bridge! No the phuck it is & for her to comment like "this is 2023 get over what happened 400 years ago"! That's not how life work🤦🏽♀️
As a 16 year old, hearing Erica Mena calling a beautiful black woman “monkey” and making monkey sounds was very hurtful 😢 . I’m happy she’s no longer part of the show ❤❤❤❤ my friends and I want to thank you
Yea that was great, my answer to that is we busy, and are colorful bei hs we just like different styles and like to switch our hairstyles up. That's all it is for me.
As a conscious, Black woman that wears her natural hair, I was very pleased with this round table discussion. They touched on all the modules, and did not leave anything out. We, as a community have face so much discrimination and racism among this society. This is a wake up call to stop letting other races into the black culture.
Why it took so long for them to realize Erica Mena was racist is beyond me. If you were truly paying attention, you knew she was racist from day one. She always thought of herself as better than any of those sisters.
They already knew how Erica was. Erica is their entertainment. She is a cash cow for them. I would not be surprised if other cast members used racial slurs, but they did not air it out. I am very happy that they have this round table to educate, but for me personally, I think it’s bullshit. Again, they already know what time it is with Erica, but they continue to let her get away with murder. It’s only because of the backlash so really and truly it was not genuine and the entire cast knows about it they know about the platform they know that it’s hypocritical, but money is coming in and that’s all that matters.
You hit the nail on the coffin its the fact that she has had numerous times to put her foot in her mouth and she didn’t she even said its a choice for black people to be offended it sounds like she had a black friend in her ear .. and that makes me even sadder .. i wish and hope the future is brighter for us to stand up for one another
I to come from a Jamaican background born Canadian and has been a victim to racism as well as a boy and with the strength of God's love grace beauty mercy and courage rose above all that and stand strong as a beautiful black man who wears his heart on his sleave and tries to be the best brother and Uncle to my nieces and nephews bringing good change to this world.
This discussion was necessary for our black culture and how each color tones within our culture are treated. Also, "They come after our black men and have black children, but think they are superior".
Sooooo proud of love and hip hop for doing this. Colorism is a GENERATIONAL CURSE throughout the world. My grandma was literally alive during British colonialism. We need to evolve. That’s it
The fact that YANDY tried to educate her and try to tell her what she said was wrong and the fact that she didn’t even try to listen or take accountability for her actions, told me everything i need to know about Erica mangy ass
I always knew she was a dirty individual, but she had me back when she with Richie Dollas! She really hated that Olivia got "her" song as she called it!!
@@iamstarrqualitylegacy1249 are you serious? Spice insulted Erica as an individual. Erica insulted a race of ppl. Do you have kids? Let's say your kid gets into an argument w a non blk classmate and your kid says "that's what your momma left you". The nonblk kids replies with "that's why you are a gger!" Would that sit right w you?
Joc and Scrappy had real points in this discussion that are the real talking points, but so many in our black community don’t want to have that conversation
I'm white AF and the thought of going racial when disagreeing with someone has NEVER crossed my mind! Even sitting and stewing in my thoughts afterward, it is still not something I even thought about. It's fucking sad. At first, I only heard she called her a blue monkey and thought maybe it was exaggerated and taken out of context, but then I saw the whole clip and her making the monkey noises.... It wasn't exaggerated or taken out of context. Erica meant exactly what she said. Erica has done some wild shit during her stint on the show, but she finally went way too far and she's now reaping what she sowed. Unfortunately for her, she's planted nothing but negativity and hate so she's getting all the karma for it now.
That's just it, as a black woman, it has never crossed my mind to call my own ppl or another race something dehumanizing or attack the things they cannot change. When I get to that level of anger and it is no longer a conversation, I table it until we are both in a better mindset.
Absolutely. And the colorism shows so greatly in entertainment. Because she is lighter skinned, she has been able to skirt by for so long. She has said some really low and mean things and acted a fool right in front of us for YEARS!
I feel Spice spoke pearls of wisdom along with the rest of cast and I hope this discussion can continue so we can all move forward in a better place in our community. This dialogue was greatly appreciated❤.
I wish Joc had gotten to speak more because he was making some good counter-points to the statements the others were making. The fact they kept cutting him off is another sign of this inner conflict in Black culture because they never want to show weakeness in front. By not agreeing to the narrative completely, Joc had lost his right to speak uninterrupted, which isn't right.
I agree, Joc as a dark skin man wanted to educate himself on colorism from a black woman’s perspective. Hopefully he can get his time to talk about it.
I agree. Especially when he asking why bw wear blonde hair or contour body parts to look diff to fit in. He was simply sayn bw need to love their natural beauty. Wide or thin noses thick or thin lips etc
@jolandamills479 I think he really was going with Spice's "Black hypocrisy" train of thought. Black people want to emulate self-love and stand for our natural beauty, but then they will also chastise another BW's natural hair or darker skin. In the end, we can't help ourselves if we don't love ourselves.
It brought me to tears watching this, not only because of the racial slur that was used but the fact that we are having a MAJOR conversation on a platform that has been ridiculed for years. I’m so happy to see this platform use its voice to talk about racism/colorism. It was needed for the culture! For this generation. For our people.
What’s crazy is, I’m half African American and Filipino. I grew up in the Philippines and I got called monkey (unggoy in Tagalog language). Mind you, Filipinos calling me that. I got made fun of because of my skin color, my hair texture, the way I dressed etc.
I have little cousins that share the same races you do and i hope they don't go thru this in the US. Just know and hear me when i say this HAPPY PEOPLE DON'T HATE! They saw something in you they wanted because it was unique and looked of greatness to them. if they were happy with themselves, they wouldn't have made fun of you.
Yes. His point about the N word being just as off limits as the monkey slur was nothing but facts and Black people need to apply that same energy with the use of the N word to their Hispanic friends.
@@fatwp6345 As a black South African, the N-word has gained a lot of traction in my country. I don't use the word because stand with the African brothers, sisters, people in the Americas, what is your opinion on non-African American black people using the N-word? What is your opinion non-black in South Africa (as we call them Coloureds, who are similiar to the Latinx community. more mixed though) using the N-word. I'm sooo glad Joc, Yandy, and Spice were the ones at the table. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 It's the intelligence level to understand the ramifications, not let it roll off your back, not look at it like she was ignorant to it, and not forget about it next week.
I agree with the point Joc was trying to make before Yandy interrupted. We shouldn't be using the N word amongst one another. I put it like this, when the time comes and my soul is reunited with my ancestors I want to be proud that I never assimilated to the culture to use a word that was intended to harm my culture
I don’t even understand how people can say spice was aggressive when Erice threw a table at her, like what could be more violent and aggressive than that.
Agreed, Spice was even calm. She wasn’t yelling. She simply asked her why she was comparing the two of them. She should have followed her first mind, she didn’t want to meet up with her.
From one Jamaican to another... Spice (Grace Hamilton), I am so proud of you, girl. Continue on your healing journey and all the best for the future. One love! 🙏🏽💖
I can’t imagine how Spice feels to know not only being called a monkey but also someone telling you that you should’ve died? That’s so hurtful especially when you’ve experienced a near death experience. That’s beyond hurtful.
Absolutely your right..?!😮where in that instance would Erica wish another woman or mother ☠️ Dead…? Dead on the operating table..? That’s so toxic and unacceptable on all levels..?
The death comment was fair game sorry. You hit low, I hit low too. The only thing that was out of line was the monkey comment, cause now you are offending an entire community.
A a light skinned African American woman with a beautiful brown skin daughter , I was hurt and very upset by what Erica said . I too seen colorism in my family, whenever a new baby was born the older generation of women will look at the ears and fingers tips . Passed down from generation to generation to see how light or dark the baby will become. I’m so happy I broke that cycle of generation colorism, and ignorance against my own race
I think Amara La Negra would’ve been a great addition to this conversation bc her first season she talked about Colorism/Racism she dealt with. Erica could’ve been invited as well, sat down separately.
Maybe part 2 can be Colorism/Racism within the Latin/Hispanic community. And then, if Erica can control herself, which I highly doubt, she along with Amara La Negra, Juju, Cyn Santana (who else) can be a part of that round table discussion. This one needed to be with black folks only.
I don't think Erica should be given anymore platforms. She had an opportunity to hear Yandy out and actually listen in the last episode but she didn't.

People LOVED how crazy Tommie and Joseline were acting, but when Spice acts like that, she’s aggressive and mean and doing too much. Colorism is so deep and it hurts watching what she went through this season after almost dying and people really tried to paint t her to be aggressive when it really was pain she was projecting. She deserves grace just like everyone else gets.
I understand Erica defending her child, but you do not, I repeat, DO NOT get to use a racial slur to someone who mentions your child in a negative way. And I also hate how Erica said “you choose to be offended.” No, absolutely not. Erica truly makes me sick.

Spice never said anything about her child, she spoke about her parenting and said Erica’s child hates her. which definitely struck a nerve. To Erica that was a low blow so Erica took that opportunity to go lower since she couldn’t say the same for spice.
I've NEVER seen a good person get that upset over someone speaking on what their child(ren) feel for them. And quite honestly, TO BLACK MEN, MANY non- melanated women will actually lay with y'all, have kids with y'all, and build a life with y'all AND STILL feel the way erica expressed towards black females. Thank you to Joc for real life holding that slenderman built itch fully accountable
I'm so sorry Spice you don't ever deserve that being said to you! That made me instantly cry for you and us black women! This is why we have to be so strong (NOT BY CHOICE) but out of necessity! It makes me feel like I'm invisible!
She’s gotten to comfortable with the community and her being aggressive and no one addressing it or us just saying “she crazy or she doesn’t play”. But if you allow a person to talk lonnngg enough you’ll hear their true feelings.
Well done Spice! You showed how well educated Caribbean people are on our history and that's why we will never be silent or stand down in the face of racism!

Ppl use the race card to lightly and therefore it holds no worth anymore. She hurt Erica talking about her son. The kids in the neighborhood called me Cinderella because I was always cleaning and sweeping while my sister played and laughed at the whole situation.
Me too! Had an argument with one of my light skin cousin side of the family about this. This was in my mom generation I heard of it starting. It's a shame the division in blk families! The root cause is rac!sm dated back to slavery. It's noted how division happened in the Willie Lynch letter.
I’m here for this conversation! Speak on it! Everything they’ve spoken about I’ve seen an experienced, especially as a dark skinned girl. Being half Jamaican and half Nigerian has taught me a lot.

For everyone who said Spice shouldn’t have mention Mena’s son and kept children out of it, that’s BS! Erica made a story line from pushing the narrative that she is a single mother and Safaree abandoned her and her children financially. Spice believed her lies that Safaree was a dead beat and was prepared to read him the riot act for his behavior. Until he showed the receipts of his cs payments. Mena is always screaming about being a hard done by single mother, but to who? She has 3 children not 2! Mena was jealous of Spice’s friendship with Safaree. Infact she’s jealous of everyone who is close to Safaree. Mena needed to be fired, she a horrible person who has finally got her Karma…she needs deliverance!
Also, many parts of her storyline was attacking Scrappy as a sorry husband and father! When they were in the club/lounge, she confronted him about his marriage/fatherhood. His mom stepped in to defend him. She always outta line.

As an American to a South African 🫡 racism was perfected in that country. It’s scary to know hate can’t reach such a level. Over color, melanin, biology, literally factors beyond human control someone would want to end your life.

What should she take accountability for? Safaree said that over all the years he's been married to Erica he has only seen the child 5x. So basically she was a d-beat mom or she picked the man over her child.

@@QueenBee-tf2ci I based my comment off how this segment started off with Rasheeda talking . Seeing her talk reminded me of how disgusting she is & how she is no better than Erica.

My curls have always been popping and it used to make me, as a teenager, so mad and insecure because I spent more time on my hair as a natural then I ever did as relaxed. She didn't mean to hurt me, but it still did.
Also, the issue with Erica stemmed from her baby daddy Safaree being concerned about Spice (a dark skinned black woman) being in the hospital, and not showing much concern for her when she was. She was in competition mode and could not believe that a dark black woman got more attention that her, and couldn't believe that Safaree was communicating with Spice and giving Spice more attention that her...THAT is the issue that popped this whole argument off, if you go back and watch...
I literally said the same-thing it’s not about her son it was about like always not getting the attention she normally get from our black men she couldn’t believe it.
The name calling is wrong. I dont think she should have been fired if they were going to air the segment. SPICE shouldn’t mention her children. VH1 shouldn’t have aired it. Spice is out of control. Erika isn’t a racist, she spoke what she sees in Spice. These cast members fight, call each other names, degrading each other on EVERY show, but calling someone by the hair color & a monkey is crossing the lines. Not only should she not be on the “next season” she needs to be permanently banned. Don’t argue with me, argue with yourself. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
Curious: so calling a fat person “pig” or ugly person “donkey” is similar to using the word “monkey”? I’m just curious what ppl are feeling…. 🤔

Thank you for this discussion and im sorry you all have to experience so much angst and feelings of being less then because of the color of your skin. may god bless and keep you in his loving care🙏❤️💙
Erica Mena calling Spice a "blue monkey" is hurtful and it's very disrespectful.
Yes.... But she was not being racist. I doubt anything like that crossed her mind. Her husband is black her children are black. Ppl use the race card to lightly and therefore it holds no worth anymore. She hurt Erica talking about her son. Sakana called her an entacllada that was racist also but it seems that black women can talk racist slurs and get away with it. Maybe she thinks she looks like a monkey she called her a blue monkey. She kinda looks like a monkey. Erica was hurt so hurt ppl hurt ppl. So I'm so sick of this 💩and ppl and emotions. Damn so this happened a yr ago and now she has no job to take care of her kids!!! They are both wrong. The worst thing Erica said was she should have died. Ppl got to stop being like this. It's to much!!!!
Facts, and no one has a right to call on someone about the color of the color of their skin. Hate is Ugly, and no excepted in Heaven, God Created COLOR, cause it is beautiful.
yep and the problem is in the international community like Erica she is not American using the word monkey is very casual but I tell people all the time when you want to do business in America you have to get with the way they do things here (I'm a foreigner)
@@K411-j3iShe has used Monkey to describe dark skin folks multiple times. Stop it! Also Spice said her son doesn’t like her. That’s all… her children are NOT black and her EX- husband was colorist as hell.
@@K411-j3iyour whole essai is shit when you’re justifying this bs by throwing “her husband / kid are black” card … You forgot to add that she has “black friends” too💀
I’m so glad this conversation was televised. I’ve experienced colorism in my own family
Same I had someone say black hair isn't good hair cause it's nappy 😢
Imma be real it was my dad it had me thinking black wasn't good enough I started to hate myself
For context, I’m only 2 generation born off the Poplar Grove plantation in Louisiana. My mom and grandma and other family members gravitated to my lil sister because of her light skin complexion.
Same here sis
Spice came through with a history lesson. Great roundtable discussion.
But shouldn’t t have to. It’s disgusting and the worst.
Lmao blk ppl in 2023 have no backbone
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024
huh?
I’m here for this conversation! Speak on it! Everything they’ve spoken about I’ve seen an experienced, especially as a dark skinned girl. Being half Jamaican and half Nigerian has taught me a lot.
I cried off this video, bc it so real. I love all my people. I agree with Amy when youuu come for one you come for us all. This is a lesson learned. “I can’t trigger youuu to become racist”
Exactly, Erica didnt want to admit that she offended people across the globe
make me cry too 😢
Same
The host did a wonderful job with the flow of her questions, answers and general conversation in this episode. Love it!
THIS IS FOR PEOPLE JUST PEOPLES WE BLACK PEOPLES AND WHITE PEOPLES HAVE LOST THERE JOBS OVER WORDS THE N WORD other word's TAKING BREAD FROM PEOPLES TABLE...BECAUSE THE WRONG WORD SLIPS OUTAND NO CONCERN FOR THERE KIDS I CAN GIVE MY OPION I CAN NOT CHANGE THE WORLD WE NEED MORE CONCERN ..MORE LOVE YOU CAN'T HURT WHAT YOU LOVE.....
Facts ! And Erica has spoken in other cast mates kids ! Called Stevie J kids the “Bebe kids “ and spoke on scrappy child support with his children , she is a walking contradiction! And can never handle her own medicine ! Hit dogs holler
100%
No kids shouldn’t be part of adult conversation
Right how u gonna be mad that these people still talk to him . y'all have the same group of friends. Always saying single mom as if this man doesn't take care of his kids. No pity for Erica
Great conversation.. I love us still talking about this. I’m proud to be dark and black. We will get over colorism. We starting to love our skin tone. Erica knows what she saying. It not the first time people tell Erica about her son.
Joc is well spoken. I am glad snd proud to see him in a light orher than how we were introduced to him on the show.....THAT'S GROWTH
Joc was ready to cook and they just kept interrupting.
As a human being, I think Erica’s slurs are DISGUSTING!! Who the he** do you think you are calling someone that? No one deserves that. Kudos to LAHHATL for not putting up with this!!!
They’re very much putting up with it. They’re profiting off it.
LHH knew about this months before it aired and literally did nothing. Why is no1 also holding this network accountable
@@mede6195yes they put up with it for too long.. now "pressure buss pipe"
I’m glad spice realized she has to take accountability for her behavior in this season. She has been angry and she does need counseling. I’m a big fan of her so I hope she gets the help she needs.
She had to take accountability but I feel it’s this show period a lot of b.s. the show all the negative energy mess can eventually fill you up you react they show the ugliness of the matter for ratings 😢they use that against her them us 🙌🏾🙏🏾
She was angry long before she got on the show.., that’s who she is.
@@MoiraPraline Right!! Ive been on a L&HH Atlanta marathon this past week & Spice got mad at Shekinah for speaking on Akbar V kids even tho she wasnt saying anything bad how Akbar needed to leave her alone, go on about her business & raise her kids but Spice got upset & started arguing with Shekinah about it. Spice told Shekinah how wrong it was to bring up Akbar V's kids/ parenting when Spice is the one whos fighting, arguing & bringing up someone else's parenting/ kids. This was on Season 8 episode(16) 8 minutes into the episode.
No matter what type issues Spice have, it doesn't give Erica the right...
THIS is EVERYTHING!!!
I’m VERY excited for the rest of the round tables!
Thank Y’all for doing this
It is so important and I think it’s going to do a LOT of good for us!!
I'm not American I am South African but this conversation was such a trigger, at first I was like the production is trying to save face but as I listened to the conversation, this was and is needed. It's not easy being a black human being period, it's universal. We are beautiful, powerful and amazing that why they so scared of us. We need to recognize the power and greatness that we truly are, embrace and silence negative narrative towards black ppl.
As an American to a South African 🫡 racism was perfected in that country. It’s scary to know hate can’t reach such a level. Over color, melanin, biology, literally factors beyond human control someone would want to end your life.
Very well said sisi💯
This is not a new segment they started it two seasons ago, where the cast found out their African ancestors.
Sending you love from cali❤️
What is "black"? Melanated? I don't get it. You all let yourselves be categorized. You've accepted it. Don't be mad. Be the change. I do not consent."half Puerto Rican half black", smh. Don't call me black, white, or anything else. The LGBTW has pronouns yeah? The species is human. Y'all need to get into how some of "them" are not HUMAN, go there.
Married 2 Medicine & RHOA should take notes on how a colorism conversation should be done. Get an expert! Not Andy Cohen
And real housewives of potomac as well
@@michyboo5314the colorism on RHOP is disgusting.
What colorism is going on with M2M and RHOA?
@@KikiSoFlyythey had a chance to discuss it on the RHOP reunion and Candice and Wendy couldn’t name specific instances like Robyn asked for and was waiting to hear.
This is crazy because they let Erica Menna film after the whole racist stuff. So if they were really trying to prove that they don’t want to be involved with any people that say, racial, slurs, etc. then they should’ve never let her film the day after or even two weeks ago..
RIGHT ‼️ I been hearing and seeing rumors going around saying shes going to be on lhh miami soon to get “drama” ratings/views because of safaree and amara dating🫤 i hope they false cause that would be even more fucked up.
I low key think they wanted it to blow up in her face bc they know their audience so yoh airing that was gonna get a reaction from the viewers regardless
It was to air out her true colors against a black woman.
@@naylani2000I hope not she’s gonna call Amara monkey.😢
I think they baited her. I think they let her hang herself. Once she said the racist things I think they intended to let the word no she was racist thereafter.
This conversation was sooooo needed! Black women are who others imitate and emulate but are made to feel as if we aren’t ENOUGH by society and sometimes family and peers. Let’s love on ourselves in our natural state and each other more! ❤
They try to make us feel like we not enough because they dont want us to know, feel, and act on our power. That's why they copy us. If everything we do is bad, why they try to capitalize off doing the same thing. The issue is we dont stick together
Facts 💯

Joc speaking on Erica's "convenient ignorance" is all that needs to be said 15:09
Spice hit the nail on the head with what she said about "triggering her racism"
That was a whole nother level of deep. 💙💪🏾👏🏾
Joc is so hurt. You can see the emotion on his face and hear it in his voice when he spoke about Erica knowing the gravity of what she said.
Plus he was hurt that the other cast members didn't seem to understand about the N word and monkey being on the same level and about why black women were the fake hair ... which by the way men hate but you can't ever tell a woman that. lol
@@mofun5315 Exactly!!! They were not being real about the fake hair part. And Joc knew it.
@@CANDYSOULonlineit’s called forced assimilation in society. If you don’t assimilate into the dominant norms that control all resources in society you get discriminated against, hence the whole hair issue and who wants that!

The fact that BLACK people are saying that Erica wasn’t wrong is crazy
Our ancestors that were beaten killed and made feel less than human are probably rolling in their graves 🤦🏽♀️
Idc what spice said your response shouldn’t be a racial slur and this isn’t her first time calling a black person a monkey 🤦🏽♀️
SHE IS A RACIST idc idc ✋🏽
They were also called the N word on that same show,
But no one is called out on that.
I don't think Erica was right. I just don't understand why the cast was bleep out hundreds of times calling each other the N word, yet there's no firing, there's no discussions as well. I guess being hung in trees and called the N WORD IS OK!!
I DON'T GET IT!
@@LP-uf2sk Well the other cast members that use the N word are black so they are allowed to use it amongst themselves if they want to. Now you didn’t need to bring up being hung that was uncalled for
but they not rolling in the graves at LHH as a whole? yall so full of damn shit. yall become vigilantes on random days of the year
I don't think people are saying she was not foul for using a slur.... however Spice cannot be excused for bringing up someone's child whom she knew was a trigger.... she needs to also be accountable for her comment to her.
I'm sorry if u bring up my child I will slaughter u however my go to US never a slur ...at all
My Girl Spice is always having to put up with the Bullshit because of her darker skin. Stay strong Queen. You are beautiful.

What should she take accountability for? Safaree said that over all the years he's been married to Erica he has only seen the child 5x. So basically she was a d-beat mom or she picked the man over her child.
This was such a good conversation. I love how everyone showed up intelligently and eloquently. Hopefully, we'll see this same level of blackness in the next season. ❤❤❤❤❤
Spice i thank you for being vulnerable at this table. You made me cry to see you open up on this episode. This is the Spice I love and cheer for.
I will never forget how Rasheeda condoned domestic violence and tried to play K Michelle all because Toya & her husband at the time were her friends.
And called her "nappy head"
@@PoeticfloeticI was just about to post the exact same comment.
Is that what they discussing ijwk
@@QueenBee-tf2ci I based my comment off how this segment started off with Rasheeda talking . Seeing her talk reminded me of how disgusting she is & how she is no better than Erica.
And we still to this day have never heard Rasheed and Kirk address that.
I applied some of the team members on holding Erica accountable and they did amazing job on EDUCATING RACIST. The discussing was needed for the show.
*applaud
Latino folks can't be racist they are not the oppressors.
Watch them still be friends with her smh
Looks like this might be a sneak move to check the temperature on bringing Erica "racist" Mena back....
I agree with Erica and yes I'm a black man
When I went natural my grandmother would constantly say, "When are you gonna do something with your hair?" My curls have always been popping and it used to make me, as a teenager, so mad and insecure because I spent more time on my hair as a natural then I ever did as relaxed.
This
The name calling is wrong. Spice speaking ill of her son prompted her to respond negatively. I understand the racist comment. Erika knew, and Spice knew what she said would spark anger. Spice lied…..she did not have to say the son that doesn’t like her…….. Erika is not racist
She put a restraining order on him he wasn’t allowed to be there
@@rhondahampton8351keep believing that.
THEY MADE A GOOD POINT! WE NEED TO GATEKEEP OUR CULTURE!
I think we need to normalize our culture the way the Europeans did so that our locks and natural curls are just as much the norm as straight hair

You can’t stop nobody from being who they are and living their life as they seem fit
This convo actually got deeper than I was expecting. Pleasant surprise
Love Spice saying that she will leave this table with a focus on working through her own internal struggles.
I’m proud of them. They actually did what most networks try to avoid. This was what I was hoping BBW would have done in the past. Instead of ignoring the elephant in the room.
Both Latin chicks involved. That love dating dark black men….
