- What's up guys! Welcome back to the Creative Channel!
I've got another music reaction video for you guys on the CC, and it's "At Last" covered by Austin Brown. He was SANGIN! Might I add it was in the original key that Etta James sang it in too! CRAZY! Many male artists who sing female songs often change the key, or sing in some form of head voice/falsetto...HOWEVER, not Austin! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope you do too! Thanks for watching! :)

Please check out Home Free’s version of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”. Austin sings the lead in that one too, in the same key as Patsy! It’s fabulous!
Got to agree !!! Austin does a terrific job, I listen to "Crazy" every day.
Austin's voice is so strong, pure and so rich that he doesn't need anything to cover or protect weak vocals. Having said that, I do really love how HF backing vocals and harmonies complement and support their lead singer when they are singing their solo portion of the song.

Austin does a nice job of the older classic songs. His voice is well suited to older styles & he seems able to convey the emotion & feeling in them. He does a beautiful tribute to the great Etta James who made this song famous.

I've been trying to hold back a little but it is really difficult! Tim and Austin are just so dang good! Can't help it but I really have a granny crush on our Fire Breathing Dragon and he probably is just so embarrassed and tired about stuff like that! This makes me smile from the first note. It was my introduction to him - and subsequently to Home Free - and a whole host of "Home Free adjacent" artists. Folks like Peter Hollens, Jeffrey East and Chris Chatham. Music has never made me so happy.
Thank you for a great reaction! Austin does an amazing job with all his music, and this one is beautiful. With Christmas coming I would like to request two Home Free songs co written by Austin. Warmest Winter, the title track on Home Free’s most recent Christmas Album, and Cold Hard Cash (for Christmas). The first is a tear jerker, written in memory of his Nani, but is beautiful and nostalgic. The second one is funny and inspired by all the Christmas socks he gets from his fans.
I’m definitely excited to react to some Christmas songs, so I’ll make a note :)

I so deja by that you are playing this today. Just heard the Etta James version from my Northern Exposure soundtrack in the car today.
the runs and melodies are very difficult, even tho its like a lover singing to their beloved.

A capella singers (obviously not this particular song) have to be perfect because there are no instruments to help keep your pitch or cover up your voice.
His voice is strong, but his dépendance on frills and furbelows ruined it for me
