Considering the fact the the BM has no diff lock, and can only get offroad tires it's still a beast. Not as good as the Tayga, but it continues to surprise me

Anyone else notice the Royal's Snorkel doesn't seem to work (on PS4)... Its physically there, but WaterLevelDamage seems to happen anyway... This has made me play the Tayga more... plus because of those big ass juicy mud tyres!

Yup, same on PC, does not seem to work. But with highway gearbox the BM17 is the fastest truck in the game.

I have Tayga and drove it in Alaska.
I found Hummer H2 with Chevy and explored with the Hummer and found BM17.
I drove BM17 through some bad mud mixed with some snow,water and only pure snow and the deepest mud made me use AWD.
It's power with no AWD is incredible,when has cargo doesn't like L position,just Auto,spends fuel like Tayga.
BM17 i have is at stock,only has offroad tires,Tayga has chained tires but also at stock.
BM17 does better in Alaska then Tayga in my opinion,this truck is a fierce beast.
This comparison sucks a bit. A all diff lock and awd vs a non diff... the royal is a beast. I love the tayga but this comparison doesnt show how brilliant the royal can do the jobs its made for

Tayga will be the best until Voron AE gets its raised suspension add on fixed. Then it will have competition.
The royals diff actually behave like limited slip differential observe it on low+ gear
I have both Tayga and Royal, and my Royal totally outperforms my Tayga, I guess the customizations that are good for one truck might not be as good for another truck.

@@rushilkanani807 Because the Tayga is the most OP truck that is actually practical and can not only tow. On top of that you can't even get difflock and offroad tires on the Royal.
I read that as "winch truck is better" and now I wish the entire test was just a tug of war between the trucks

Im watching these vids to pass some time...... It does not matter what truck i use i end up back to the navistar and end up eating the job for breakfast.
You should have reset the map before driving the bm17 after the taga, it's harder to drive through the tayga's ruts which is actually modeled in game
Lmao I found the tayga for free on the Taymyr map and it’s a beast and it’s still on highway tires
I literally towed the royal out up to the garage on the Alaska map aswell

I found it easier to upgrade the bm17 earlier as I unlocked its twin turbo engine early. With all the upgrades ive found the bm17 out performs the tayga. I can do employee dislocation in 2:05 in the bm17 and 2:30 in the tayga.
It depends on how you play. Straight after tutorial I go to Russia, sell all my American trucks, buy Azov 8x8, discover and recover Tags, unlock rest of Russia and collected all upgrades for Taya, Azov 8x8 and Yar 87. All this before lvl 4. Only after that I do the rest of the missions.

Roayl BM17 is the fastet vehicle in game with 91,2 km/h top speed but it has no diff lock thats a 100% minus for me and it tilt to easy to the side to unstable
I absolutely hate how the view works in this game drives me crazy. Especially when you’re using the crane the crane controls block the bottom of the screen how do you get rid of that??
Look at the controls to disable its HUD
If the American trucks need better tires. The ank would be perfect but the Russian trucks always have had better offroad tires

@Shrek Wes absolutely true, i got the tayga thinkin it will make a difference since everyone is riding the tayga wave and i must say the avoz holds the crown even in stock..
there is ofcourse no competition, but try to understand the point here. You can get Tyaga literally at level 2, but you need to spend a lot of hours before you can get an Azov 64131, so ofcourse a truck what you get in late game gonna be a beast for sure.
