In my opinion, fitting an aftermarket exhaust to your car is one of the most important things to modifying your vehicle. It makes your car stand out from a crowd. This was my first time fitting an exhaust part to any car and it was by far easier than I thought it would be.

Them side bits on the exhaust with the little bolt on end. Do you remove that first before taking off the rubber?

Will pas MOT cops might get onto you if you rev it loud but they can’t do anything about it

@@rosshanlon1828 need to pass emissions, loudness, and legally exhaust gases need to pass through a silencer before leaving the system, a back box
@@Neishy123 Nah they legally need to pass through a catalytic converter which the car still has. the back box is just for resonance. And as it’s a 1.0l 3 cylinder engine, it will pass fine on loudness
Did you have to do anything to the rear diffuser or does it just fit on standard st line/ zetec s rear?
If you’re getting it off of pipe dynamics. They have the option for the type of diffuser your car has, so it fits whatever diffuser you have.
Has this increase your fuel consumption massively? if so how much roughly by?
No mate no noticeable increase in fuel consumption

Hi, u recon would this be compatible with a mk7 1.25 fiesta. Not arsed about cutting the diffuser to fit just bothered about weather the pipes are the same size
im not too sure mate. You would have to get under ur fiesta and judge whether it looks like the same fitment

I don’t get how the delete connects to the pipe that was cut. New to the scene
so the delete has a wider pipe at the end which slides onto the factory exhaust and then you use a clamp to hold the new pipe to the original pipe

The paste is just exhaust paste that goes round the smaller pipe before you slide the backbox delete onto it. It helps create a seal

Yes you’ll just need an exhaust sleeve to link the backbox to the main exhaust

No you don’t.
What did you tighten the clamp up with mate? Is there an attachment you can get for an impact driver?
I’d suggest not using an impact tool unless you have experience day to day using one. Just for the pure fact that if you’re not used to using it, you won’t be used to it’s power and know when something is tight. I’d recommend using a hand ratchet. This video was a long time ago but I believe it would be a 10mm/13mm bolt and I would have used a socket to tighten

Got another query, when using the exhaust paste do you put it round the smaller pipe then slide the pipe on or do you slide the pipe on and use the paste all round the gap? Never used it before

its loud but not too loud and doesn't drone on motorway
Did this change your insurance a lot?
No. With my insurance they didn't have a specific modification class for exhausts so as it wasn't performance related my insurance didn't go up. Each insurance company is different though so it's better to check first.

@@E1EDITSYT No. At the time I was with Admiral. It's a massive lottery when it comes to insurance. The time of year, how close to your renewal date, where you live, your age, your job, your vehicle and loads more are can seriously affect your insurance quote. One thing that does save me money every year is to start an online quotation but don't complete it. Then phone for a quote and ask them to open your online quote (quote the reference number of the online quote). Once they've done that, get them to try every single combination of all the possible examples to each question (my job title for example, stating I'm in the motor trade adds 20% to the premium but saying I'm a technician (service technician) actually brings the premium down by 5%). When everything is complete they will process it as an online quote instead of a telephone quote and you should receive an additional discount - Admiral for example is 15% discount for doing your own quote online.

Hi mate, I’m not too sure what it is advertised as now as this was a long time ago and I no longer have this car. However, as long as it is advertised for your vehicle you should be good

yes. any mods you should declare (if you don't want to risk it :))

@@tobyshefford Not true, i have already done it my self, none of my mods are performance mods i spoke to the insurances they tried getting the ass i said well it doesnt increase the performance if anything it increase handling etc and they removed the mark and i still have insurance :)

Just to ensure that the seal between the backbox delete and the original exhaust was air tight and to stop it from sliding off. Just a secondary seal really mate

@@iKierBear94 no mate it wouldn't, just because it will be a slightly different shape, I wouldn't risk buying anything that isn't made for your car

no mate its only 125bhp
Do u need to remap the car ?
No, you can litreally just have this fitted as standard. They're around £140 brand new and its around £60 to have it fitted by a garage.
No mate, I currently have this backbox delete and an airtec air induction kit installed and have not yet remapped the car. I plan to map it straight to stage 2 but I need to install an intercooler first which will be one of my upcoming videos. however, installing the backbox delete does not improve performance of your car unless you remap it so without a map the modification will purely be for sound

@@sammalseed8764 can you tell me where did you find the induction for your ecoboost engine. I cannot pass the map air sensor to connect con air filter.
