I feel like even though he doesn't say "will not stand" Walter's sudden use of the word aggression should have been included. "Unchecked aggression. Across this line, you DO NOT --"
I just watched the third episode of 'The Twilight Zone' and Rod Sterling the narrator said 'in the parlance of our times' and I had to google it to remember where I'd heard it. I'm glad it brought me to this video!
I spotted a couple of repeated phrases/words: "I kill your fucking car - they finally killed my car." And "one million clams" Oh and obviously "it really tied the room together"
He should have an ego, being one of the original writers of the Port Huron statement... not the compromised second draft. Not to mention his stint on Metallica’s Speed Of Sound Tour, the dude has a lot to be proud of.
One you missed here: when one of the carpet pissing duo says to the Dude, "You see what happens?" And then later on, Walter says (yells), "YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS" when he's destroying "Little Larry's" car.
It really tied the script together.

its not that characters copy each other. It's specifically the Dude who copies what he hears other people say to sound smart or bad ass.
