that’s because the living are dead. the world is a miserable place and only has its good moments. but once your dead you have nothing to worry about because your already dead so you can make all the mistakes you want.
I just watched corpse bride for the millionth time and it’s so amazing and executed beautifully. I really wished Emily could have had a better life, even with victor, but at least her soul was set free.
She actually did know him. How do you think she knew his name? She was watching him through the butterflies, victor and the man that killed her were the only people that can see the butterfly, she turned into those same butterflies at the end.
“This is wrong, I was a bride but my dreams were taken from me, now I have stolen them from someone else… *I love you* .. *but your not mine* ” Someone please this is so underrated 😭🤌✨
That if you confess with your mouth, "," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved
I watched it just then, and I cried. The only times I've cried before were when my relatives passed away. This represents many girls, sometimes we have a crush on someone who has no interest in you at all. She deserved so much better than to be murdered, judged and rejected. Tim Burton, you make me depressed... (I instantly subbed.) Love is something to be earned, she did everything to earn my love and trust, but Victor was oblivious to her love. :( All my love, soul and mind goes into Emily.
I’ve always been drawn to this movie, a tale that could make my icy heart melt for a moment. A tale that always comforted me whenever I wanted to be comforted. Personally, I think this is the best Tim Burton’s story. The Nightmare before Christmas comes in close second.
this breaks me. ughhh i love this movie so much. tim burton really is a legend. in some way i know a lot of people can relate to the corpse bride, i can too.
I saw Corpse Bride when I was 6, it’s such a good movie, now I’m 13, it’s still amazing and it hits different now that I know how to feel more emotions and I actually relate to Emily a bit, all she ever needed is someone to love her…
"i love you victor, but you're not mine." reminds me how my crush likes my bestfriend like everyone else. she likes his friends. they're so amazed by her beauty. beauty isn't everything; if they only knew how she really was. if they only knew she just seeks attentions and compliments people. i wish i could leave my best friend, but i used to admire her. i still kind of do--- only for her good qualities, though. her being likeable. is she really, though? i wish he knew what i'd do for him. he knows i like him--- but doesn't know how deep.
I never watched this movie, but i watch some clips from it, and it makes me sad, she just wanted to live a life where she loves someone and the person loving her back, it breaks my heart so much🥺😭😭
At this point in kind of just watching this over and over in hopes that it makes me feel a little better. Being in love with someone for the first time and having it be a situation like this - “I love you, but you are not mine.” … it’s not fun, but this gives me a little hope… hope that I can let go of this feeling eventually. Move on. Heal. It’s a slow and painful process, but a steady one. If you love them, let them go…
I love the corpse bride she never deserved that. I cry almost everytime I watch her movie or see her. Ugh I just wish they could make a part 2 where she’s happy for us this isn’t fair.. 💔
My mom took me into the theater to see this when I was like 1 apparently and damn. Can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed with this movie. It’s just so great
