Hey, as usual another great video! I think the problems you encounter with the fillets started with the first extrusion and the first split (at around 11') The extrusion wasn't far enough, so it left a little recess between the body and the surface. Grtz
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training Yeah, well, it is indeed a very late reaction of mine... I just started Inventor a few months ago. Channels like yours are great, i really learned a lot, Great work.
Couldn't manage to choose only curved line in 10:53. Tried backing up redoing a lot of stuff, done projecting geometry etc. This just don't work Inventor 2023.5
Really nice. Following along in Fusion seems to go pretty smoothly except Fusion cannot offset the faces from the filleted solid body? I had to make a clone and unstitch the whole thing to create the cushions. Seems strange. I didn't have the same problems with the fillet at the end because I didn't have that little section in the arm that gave you problems. It's because when I made the arcs in the beginning sketches, Fusion doesn't allow you to specify the arc radius with two points so I estimated those arcs and made them slightly gentler. This means when the bodies split I didn't have that little section.
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training I really appreciate this video, Wolfgang! I worked through this video in about 2 hours, built my own design, and I look like a genius with my colleagues! Thank you!

Yes could be, but I don´t recall. I did this one about 3 years ago.

Hello WW, your approach to work i admire with each video more and more, your solutions are excellent. Thank you.
thanks for your praise, much appreciated :)

I don´t think the cause is your version of Inventor - but I would assume the "rail" is not connected with the sketch-profiles
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.trainingwill try again soon. Thanks
I got the same issue, you need to delete the projections

I will do the fusion video next - so we will see
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training Looking forward to seeing how you handle the offsets and a few other things!
I see how you did it. thanks!
@@John_colasante You´re welcome
Danke Wolfgang!!
Bitteschön :)
