They will fly so high that they will be almost out of sight. They may fly for hours. It has been more than 50 years, since I had high flyers, Rollers, and Helmets. They all flew together. From what I remember, they were all small pigeons. The Rollers would do acrobatics along with the high flying birds. I had about 50 birds that flew together. I was a teenager at the time in the 1960s. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. I also, had many different breeds of fancy show pigeons, like Fantails, Russian Trumpeters, Frills, Owl pigeons and more and many breeds of show chickens Bantam and Large Fowl. I also had pheasants and quail. I grew up on my family's poultry farm. My Father owned an Electric Motor Repair business in Texas. He paid for our hobby. I read a lot of books on Poultry and pigeons and game birds. Now, I have asthma and can no longer have any birds. So, I watch your videos and remember the good old days, when I was young. I loved birds and enjoyed watching them.
wow great! i hope i can keep you entertained! if you watch my other channel @maney estate there will be lots more chicken breeds on there in time! i really like my birds so the flock will expand when i move!
It relaxed me to watch your videos. I read a lot and listen to music. At 72, it is my time to enjoy what life I have left. I am learning from you my friend. Your Homing pigeons are beautiful. My problem is that I had too many birds. I only won first and second in one young bird 100 mile race against the pros. I raced birds for about 5 years. That last year I lost my entire young bird team in a training toss of about 10 miles. I have no idea as to what happened. I think it is called a fly away. That kind of broke my spirit for racing pigeons. Maybe some hunters shot them up or something.
They seem like good quality highflyers. Once trained completely they'll start flying longer each time they take a flight. So initially they might just fly for an hour or so, staying close to their loft but as and when they are completely aware of their surroundings they can do good 6-7+ hours easy! Can definitely do way more tho. Build a trap door on the top if you can, like a roll on kind and let them sit on top of the loft and see it from outside! Before you let them out on their own completely its better to tie up the last 4-5 feathers so they don't run away, leave them like that for a week everyday then you can open the knot on their feathers and they are good to start flying and build up some flight muscles. Really excited to follow their progress ❤❤
Teddy are one of best high flying pigeons and faster then many racing pigeons. It’s good that you got young teddy pigeons easy to train them I’m jealous with you mate you have teddy pigeons...... i have few homer’s and racing pigeons in japan I’m from Pakistan and can’t find any Pakistani pigeons here

Some high flyers fly for so long there to tired to they stop flying and just drop and die or they go down slow if they can and when they get to the floor they look dead
People don’t usually trap high flyers they just leave an entry open and just close it up I recon u should make a hole in the kit book on the outer side and and put some type of platform they can land and go in
First of I'm happy to see new pegions hereafter he won't get stressed to be alone he got some good company. Basically high flyer use fly minimum 5 hours when you got good line bird they use to fly more than 12 hours even night they won't come to loft some will even over night. And you don't want feed much food to them they go and get food from some empty lands. I advise you don't make a loft near to homer pegion if the pegions are mingle there atitude will change its better you have loft in estate.
thanks, i will need to fly them both at different times, maybe racing homers first and then once they are in the high flyers can go out as long as they want!
Kurt you can tape their main wings and let them out on the floor for a week and then take the tape off and put the trap on the top so when they land they can go in
Brother good to see your Bird if you cross White male you have these female you make more beautiful birds your loft is small expand it more (Shoaib) from Pakistan.
Thank you yes I will expand it very soon once I finished building my new house and then I have time and more money to do the job's like more pigeon lofts
Hi Maney ! Nice looking birds. I would say to keep them in for three months, before let them out to fly. Set up an avery so they can look around while you are not there. Good luck with the new birds.
Did you import those teddy from Pakistan Or you brought them from your local market? We have many kinds of high flyer birds in pak, India and Bangladesh.

You are right
They fly for hours in the air currents high up absolutely marvelous birds
cannot wait! so exciting!!!
You will be amazed wirh them
When i was racing pigeons a few years ago flyers bought hi flyers to get their birds up and motivated
does it work? i was thinking of doing the same with my birds
Racing pigeons tend to range not as high as the hi flyers but they will fly with them to a certain point
Depends on how you train them together
They would fly all day if u let them they look great birds
that is what i am hoping, breed lots more and fly them all day! exciting times!
