Okay fair warning buns are blazing this episode, my apologies. BUT it has been way too long since I've built something. I've been renovation station over here so it was really lovely to get back into more project builds. This is 35 feet of bench baby and I am stoked I decided to not settle and redo what I didn't like xx.
Yay!!! Loving this babe and your bikini mesh skirt is 🔥🔥🔥 Your boy Blaze is such a big baby likes being held even he knows he’s so big. Spoiled rotten 🥰🥰😘😘💕💕 love you!
I love your Wabi Sabi approach to desert decor! It has a unique western flare to it, and your commitment to recycling materials is so kind to the environment. ❤️
I love seeing the dogs. I’m with you I do things look at them then start over. Sometimes right away sometimes after a while. I love the reclaimed wood.
So good! “Don’t do it for the Pinterest aesthetic” because it looks way better then any Pinterest aesthetic I’ve seen haha. Wrapping it with the geo pattern 👌🏻 it just blends with the natural beauty surrounding it!
I absolutely love the geometric shapes you used in the pattern of the bench. I agree with you, re-using materials is a great idea but just covering with the blankets wasn't it. I was liking the cushions at first but the blankets thrown on top just wasn't it. I'm glad you decided to use the reclaimed wood from your property, it adds a personal touch and it looks incredible! It definitely changed the way it looked versus just the blankets, it's a warmer feel and it ties in with the hammock amazingly. You're awesome!!! :D
amazing! love that you are using reclaimed wood and just materials that you already had on hand! you always kick butt! thanks for sharing! and what a lovely baby you have! he has gotten so big! xoxo
The bench is awesome! Fits the area, for sure... The dogs are, ask him always, wonderful to see, so thank you for that! Until next time, take care of yourself!!
As a person who lives in a tropical country, I can practically feel the heat just from the brightness of the video. On another note, I love the bench and the use of reclaimed wood, it just gives it so much life compared to just buying new wood.
Your new life in the desert looks like an amazing change! I am from a big city in Northern Cali and bought a house in the forest of Southern Illinois. Having not been around insects and other dangerous creatures prior to moving there, I was terrified of some of the insects. I wonder how you have been adjusting to looking out for dangers of the critters there? Scorpions, Snakes, Tarantulas?!
I think this is one of my all-time favorites of your projects so far. The bench is so unique and stunning - and fits with so beautifully with the environment. I love what you’re doing over at Nowhere!
This just gave me the perfect, wrap bench (tree stumps) project for my back yard AND THEN 💡how to tie it in with a seating project I'm doing in my carport (reclaimed wood from my property). Thanks😘
Hi, again. I grew up in that awful heat. Some tips: 1) Actually wear light weight long sleeves while working under the hot sun. 2) Never work out in the heat between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. 3) If you know you're going to work outside, then don't drink alcohol the night before. Have fun!
I have been to Joshua Tree/Pioneer Town, 29 Patlms and the NP two weeks ago. Very special place , I actually loved it there, so very different from life here in Berlin/Germany.
Honestly you are inspiring me so much i dream about having a house somewhere in the world and build it with my own hands like you, a true strong and independant woman 🥰
Loved this, so fitting with the area your in,will you have to treat the wood to help preserve it with the heat out there? That hammock is gorgeous and what a view....xxx
If you screw eyelet screws into various corners you can totally tie down those cushions for extra bikini butt softness. I also adore that you do so much in a thong bikini. It's just chefs kiss to the ppl who still somehow believe women can't do construction work. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🥰🥰🥰

the chevron pattern plus the hexagon shape looks so fabulous! Reclaimed wood is an instant gift for texture and color
Thanks for the love!
I’ve never been a fan of the desert scenery but after watching you transform your home gives me a whole new appreciation for the landscape.

Good call on switching from the cushions. The reclaimed wood looks like it belongs there! Beautiful!

This is wood that has been out for 30 years in the sun so we're solid with the look and "finish" as is!
Blaze is so darn adorable🤍
Ciao più grande bellissima mi piace 👍 brava
How would the rain affect that? Love the beach though! I’d love to do something similar❤
We're in the desert so don't worry about that too much over here. Add the proper outdoor sealant!

If it’s as windy as you say I hope you just didn’t make one massive, single use, fire pit 🔥🔥🙈
Beautiful stuff but please keep fire retardant nearby 😬

Hello friend. I know if I lived out there you couldn't keep clothes on me...I'd pass out. I love your idea 💡 and love of it all. OneLove ❣
I see a lot more RUclipsrs moving to Joshua Tree. Do you know Megan Batoon? Oh, rumour has it that Amber Heard is now living out there.
I saw Meg moved on over!
