He's saying that it was a sad moment for football industry for losing one of the most powerful strikers in the world that people loved and respected. And I feel the same. Yo fui uno de las personas que al principio juzgó "por qué Adriano se dejó llevar por la melancolía, tristeza y empezar a vivir mal". Sin embargo, perder a un padre no es fácil y es algo le cambia la vida a mucha gente. Él eligió volver a Brasil, buscar su propia felicidad y rehacer su vida así que eso es lo más importante en este momento. Él es feliz y se siente una persona realizada. En cuanto al fútbol se refiere (tengo 36 años) puedo decir que Adriano jugó a un nivel increíble hasta el último día que estuvo en el Inter de Milán. Era muy difícil ver a un jugador tan alto, rápido , ágil y con esa demostración de fuerza que imponía en el campo, lo hacía un jugador capaz de pasar a cualquier defensa. Disfruté muchísimo viéndole jugar y me alegra muchísimo verle feliz.
Either way he lived a perfect life. He has been among most talented players and he was one of them. If I watch his interviews in 2022 and it makes him a legend. No matter how people complain about how short term he performed in football or how a big belly he had. At least his belly witnessed to R9.

At the 2005 confederations he was awsome alongside Ronaldinho n Robinho... it was a dream attack seeing them starting together.
At the 2006wc i expected him to b the main striker for Brazil but Ronaldo stuck around n Adriano was dropped to the bench.
Dropping Adriano n Robinho was the end for Brazil .... they provided soo much power in attack n Brazil had no chance... even with Ronaldo9 n Dinho the team needed Adriano n Robinho...and that is how Adriano missed the chance to win the 2006wc.
Kaka n Juninho should have been the one to be dropped to the bench n make way for Adriano and Robinho to play alongside Dinho and Ronaldo.
Scolari wanted to bring him to Chelsea but he opted to remain at Intermilan. I believe Scolari would have helped him get over the mourning period that affected Adriano... he needed a father figure to help him snap out of the death of his dad and who better than Scolari... sadly that is how he missed the chance to win the UCL. If he had joined Chelsea the team would have been stronger in attack.
He seems to also have problems accepting his new reality of being successful n nolonger living in the Favela.... that too would have been solved by Scolari
