    It would also have a nice sound this engine if it were not related to the logic of the cvt.

      @@dimensione_Automobili secondo te è una buona macchina? (ti chiedo perché ho notato che sei abbastanza informato sull'ibrido) volevo chiederti appunto se è una buona macchina in quanto sarei intenzionato all'acquisto .. Le ibride hanno problemi alle batterie con gli anni?

      @@denisfranzin2104 si buona. Utilizza il sistema ibrido Toyota, quindi super collaudato negli anni. Il motore 2.0 è di origine Mazda, buono anche lui. Ho avuto occasione di provarne una, praticamente avendo lo stesso sistema ibrido Toyota si comporta come un'ibrida della Casa giapponese, ho solo notato una differente ottimizzazione del tutto, non efficace come Toyota probabilmente dovuta ad una differente mappatura del software di gestione. Su Ford non ho esperienze di durata per le batterie, su Toyota non danno problemi, solo l'Auris ha dato qualche noia ma solo perché i progettisti hanno posizionato le prese di ventilazione sotto al sedile posteriore. In questo modo la ventola di raffreddamento aspira polvere diventando inefficace nel tempo, la batteria si surriscalda e si danneggia. Su altri modelli non ho mai sentito di particolari problemi, la mia Ct200h ad esempio ha ormai 10 anni e la batteria è perfetta.

      @@dimensione_Automobili grazie dell'informazione.. Mi piaceva più che altro la linea, a md fanno impazzire le berline a 3 volumi come la mondeo.. Sono indeciso fra questa e la talisman, solo che la talisman è a diesel e non so quanto convenga.. Cioè cercavo una macchona che mi durasse un po di anni comunque.. Nella mia zona c'è una mondeo hybrid con 60 mila km a 13.500 e una mondeo hybrid vignale a 19.500 con 40 mila km.. L'indecisione è grande ahaha proverò ad andarla a provare comunque

      @@denisfranzin2104 In futuro la circolazione delle auto diesel sarà soggetta a pesanti limiti, quindi ti consiglio la Mondeo ibrida.

    I like it, but it good do with a bit more power. I'm disappointed with 187ps and over 9 seconds to 100 kmh. If they could make a 210 or 220 version with a time of around 8 seconds and higher top speed it would be nice. Did you find it lacking torque? Or was there a decent shove into the seat

      I think it could be more powerful, but from the other hand - this Mondeo has quite relaxed nature. You don't want to attack corners in this and so on. The power is enough for overtaking, but there's no shove into the seat.

      the car does 140hp on a 2l naturally aspirated engine. You don’t need more power, but yes you need more torque. 170nm are the same as a fiesta or focus which are quite smaller than the mondeo. This hybrid is for a relaxed city driving with a big confortable car. In this case 140hp+47 electric ones are enough for a good economy droving.

      @@e7234 177nm is just the combustion engine. Electric has itself 122hp, however in horse power it's not summed linearly. It was said that the engine system has 300 nm together.

    Thinking about buying the same Model, how is the noise on the highway? The CVT seems to go up in rpm quite high 🤯

      Maybe I am too late but CVTS only go high rpm when accelerating, in cruise at 120 kph for example, so smooth and quiet. (I tested the ecvt from toyota, in a corolla ts 125h)

      The Hybrid System is not a classic CVT with belt, but a gear epicycloidal with two electric motor.

      The hybrid system is licensed from Toyota the engine is developed between Mazda and Volvo under ford ownership the platform is a Mazda platform so that is complete BS
