Cool video. But isn't it counter-productive to water the area before compacting? At least that's what I learned in school as the small spaces between the small rock chips get filled with water, which then later dries off so you don't get the compaction you want.

Thank you for the comment. I have come to the conclusion that wet crushed stone compacts even better than dry. too dry starts to "boil" as if under a press. in this case we used water to bind the dust.
