Pretty damn solid day of fishing. I'm hoping to get out this weekend with these temps coming in.

Good luck this weekend. I would try to get out with you but looking to head up to New York to catch Tautog, Black Seabass or Big Stripers. Not sure what the rising temps are going to bring this weekend, should be interesting.

Hi I like your video. Could you provide more detail on what your fishing with and how you are fishing with it. I can't tell if your jigging or tolling? What depth? Low tide or high tide? Etc. I'm new to kayak bay fishing here in Annapolis and would like to learn more.

Hey, thanks for the comment. In my last 2 videos I had to troll because I wasn't marking any fish or didn't see any birds working. I troll 2 rods (one on each side of the kayak), sometimes 3 rods where I will have 2 rods on right side, one on left. The lures I have been using are either a very light (1/8 to 1/4 ounce) Bucktail or the home made jig with long hair (same weight). In the last video I used a 1/8 jig head with a 4" split tail Jerk Minnow JR. I have found that either the outgoing or incoming tides are best and trolling structure and/or points. Dead low tide is the worst. If you can control monitor your trolling speed you should be at 3 to 3.5 MPH usually with the current but I got a good amount of fish last time with and against the current. If the fish aren't hitting on the light weight jigs I will troll one rod with a light jig and a deeper diving 4 - 6 Inch jerk bait or a 1/2 to 3/4 ounce Jig head withe a 6 inch paddle tail. Usually trolling in 7 to 10 ft water depth but that can change with the water temps. I hope this helps but feel free to shoot me additional question or follow me on facebook and ask questions there.
