However, you only need 8 inches to install it flush with the wall. Can the privacy be placed on either side? In other words, if I am in the bathroom looking into the bedroom, can I have it privacy so I can see the flames from each side, but privacy the other side?
The privacy is in the centre. When it's on, you will only see flames on the side you're on. Flames will be visible on both sides of the privacy screen, but you won't be able to see both from one side.
Also can the fireplace be controlled from both sides. In other words if I’m in the bathroom I can control it there or if I’m in my bedroom I can control it there? How many remotes does it come with?
Hi, Jo. If you make the fireplace flush on one side of the wall, you would need to have it set in 4" on the other side, and you would need enough space around the trim to allow for trim removal and servicing. It would be a bit of a tricky installation and not one I recommend.
Fantastic video - very informative 🧐

I have 14 inch wall, will this work?
No, maximum wall thickness is 8-inches.
Is there an app we can download instead of using the real controller ?
Not yet. Napoleon is introducing an app on newer models but it's not available for Clearion yet.
Does that mean it will be possible on older model like this one in the futur ? :O @@stylishfireplaces
@@MadiNoe12 It will not be possible on an older model, but watch for it in future on new versions of older models.
