thank you so much for sharing how you mix your paints! I've watched countless other videos and artists are sooo secretive with how they do things. you're so willing to teach other, it's so lovey. thank you darlin! love your work, keep painting, you're one talented sister!❤😉
I have watched quite a few pours today and this one is the best yet. I am new to this art so the basics are more interesting than the technical. It was such a surprise to see what 45 minutes will do. Totally unexpected. Thanks for the video!
Hi Mel. I really love this painting. Great job. I have still been experimenting but still haven't come up with something I really like.... I will get back at it one of these days though. I just really need to clear a better space to work in. Glad things are going good for you and that you are still painting. You got such beautiful effects with paint and water and that little bit of pouring medium. Thanks for sharing your technique.
Thank you for the explanation and demonstration. Lovely painting. I love all the colors. I was impressed with the avocado color, and the peachy color...I already forgot the names. Well done.
Beautiful pour on a large canvas! Wow, now I know what's been frustrating me for the last two days and with much gnashing of teeth, and hair pulling. I had vowed to go back to my watercolours and put what's left of my acrylics in a deep dark cupboard again... When here, tucked up in my bed, going through emails and this vid just popped into my inbox with the answer.... NOW I realise why I am not getting the effect I want...... not enough white!YOU are my artistic life saver! Thank you soooooo much 😘
Wow seriously that is BEAUTIFUL! I've never seen this paint pouring technique before your video.. I really didn't expect that result. Soooooo cool!!!!!!
MelyD: I love I your videos, yet finally 'listened' to this one ☺ I followed what you did, especially with the white, just water in the rest and paid attention to consistency-plus fought the feeling to add silicone...and LOVE my end result!! Thank you and keep bringing the videos!!
Omg I am so happy to read this! 1 month later! (my bad I can't keep up) Good for you! I love it when people get good results without silicone :) Once again, so happy for you!
I started out just mostly watching Mixed Media Girl on here but I've checked out a few of ur vids. Y'all both r amazing artists & thank u so much for explaining things as u go! It helps me, I know that much.
That's amazing, seriously awesome! Inspired to have a go now, tried before and failed miserably but after watching this I'm sure I didn't use enough paint. Thanks so much!
Wow!! That changed so much from when you first moved the paint around. I honestly did not expect that many cells..but wow!! I love how this type of art reminds me so much of nature..whether it be a specimen through a microscope or a geode. I can't wait to try this out myself.
Just wanted to come back yo tell you that I just finished my first pour! I only used 3 colors. Black and white with liquitex and a copper metallic with water and I had instant cell activity!! It turned put so good. Thanks for showing all of UA your techniques. I'm having so much fun!
This is beautiful !! I have try making cells . I have been fluid painting but the technique is totally different . I do agree with you that a little pouring medium goes a long way . I loved the colours you picked . I really like the avocado colour !
Very amazing . I'm new with expressing my art . I don't like to copy others but to get my own idea of my ways. I love it . 👍 . oh I also a new subbie . thank you for sharing your beautiful creative art.
I stumbled across one of your videos totally by accident. Sigh..I am compelled to tell you that even though I don't know you, I have to not like you very much!! LOL. I am completely hooked on this painting method! Which sucks because had just paid out a crazy amount of money for new soft pastels. I love your videos, and I am saving the links like crazy. Next month, (after income taxes are done) I know what I am going to be heading to the art store for. Love your videos, and your instructions are just perfectly spot on as far as I am concerned! You have a new fan :D
This is seriously the coolest thing I have ever seen. I would love to try thus but it's clearly messy and I don't have anywhere to attempt this. amazing. I would love to see a pink white and hold effect with this. I wonder if it's possible to add glitters to the paint
So what is the trick to getting metallic silver to show up in my painting ?? I'm pretty new to all of this and just learning different things as I go which is not a lot so far. Lol. But I have used silver metallic several times with either blues or purples mainly and it never shows up ..any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated . You are my fave artist on here and I recommend your page to everyone who asks me about paint pouring & how to do it !!! I love all your videos and have NEVER seen one that I dislike !!! Thanks for always sharing your work & knowledge. 😁😁😁
Mely that really worked the affect is superb, shows too how it helps just having that little bit of pouring medium in the white, one day that stuff might come down in price, we can hope lol
Thank you so much for sharing what you do! Your videos are great! I love your accent, it reminds me of my French Canadian relatives who I miss very much.
I keep watching this video over and over. I don't get anywhere near this effect. About how much water are you adding to the craft paints? Maybe mine are too thick. I usually use silicone and a torch. When I have tried water only, I haven't gotten many cells. I am using the same paints you are. Just wondering if I'm not using enough water. Thanks for your help! You are amazing!
Maureen Rooney it's really hard to say I'd have to see your dilution. The positioning and the way you use the different brands with each other plays a very important role. The artist loft reaaaly helps with the cells its a must. Thank you so much! :)
yours always turn out so amazing! I'm still unsure what you meat by the different densities causing the cells. this time you said you did them all to the same consistency. I want to make cells happen so bad!! they are just so cool!!
It's just beautiful! Period. Do I understand that you poured the colored paint with no added water? And that the white paint had the additive and a good bit of water? Thank you.
Beautiful piece of work. I have just done my first pour and it doesn't look half as good as yours. I don't know if the paint was too thin but will continue practicing :)
Thanks for sharing your process! Have you considered using left over smoothie (naked juice) bottles for mixing? I do a different kind of painting, but I like to dilute my paints. The wide mouth makes them easy to fill, I can shake it well and keep the leftovers. Just a thought to save time and paint😊
Kimberlee Rocca thanks for the idea but shaking is not a good way to prepare the paint for this. It must be mixed and blended not shaked. Thanks though!
I'm just wondering if the quality of those craft paints..if they will fade or not hold up over time ..also do you think the mix of the craft paint and artist loft white is what gets you the effects you are looking for?
First of your videos iv seen and That's amazing I love it . I don't understand how you get such an affect just with water and pouring medium though also is that acrylic paint your using.. il be watching more and learning from them, whether il be able to et the same affects as you I can only hope .. thank you
O love the marbled look of your technique. Very beautiful.
Thank you for taking the time to share this video with us. Looks like fun! Now I want to build a studio where I can get messy and creative! How fun!
Haha I hear ya! Why not!? :)
LOVE your creativity, so glad I got to watch your process. Thanks!!!

Hey salut! Thank you :)
I love all of your pours MelyD... I always have to laugh when you pour.... you get it all over the place... but your results amazing!!!
Thank you and yeah I know haha I don't mind getting dirty! Thanks again!
I have watched quite a few pours today and this one is the best yet. I am new to this art so the basics are more interesting than the technical. It was such a surprise to see what 45 minutes will do. Totally unexpected. Thanks for the video!

KymmLeigh H. Thank you so much! and go ahead you're gonna have a blast!
I am so impressed that you get so many cells with only water and paint. I have yet to master that 😔
Beautiful piece. And yet another amazing video 💓
That is one of the coolest ones I have seen yet! Love your technique, stunning creation.
Wow thank you so much!
Lovely painting. it seems like you can get beautiful cells without using a flame torch. Brilliant.
I love it! Thanks for sharing your technique - I love the messy way it just splatters over the edges of the canvas. FUN!! I'm going to try this.
My pleasure! Hope you have fun!
I'm totally in love with what you do with colors. Great job! Keep it going!
Thank you so much :)

I love this! It's almost therapeutic to watch
I started out just mostly watching Mixed Media Girl on here but I've checked out a few of ur vids. Y'all both r amazing artists & thank u so much for explaining things as u go! It helps me, I know that much.
Wow! Looks nothing until you start to move the canvas. Love it!
Beautiful! I love your videos 🎨💕
That's amazing, seriously awesome! Inspired to have a go now, tried before and failed miserably but after watching this I'm sure I didn't use enough paint. Thanks so much!
Thanks! and it takes practice... i'm sure you'll get it :)
It's amazing that you create so many cells without the use of silicone spray or flame torch! Great work!
Thank you so much!
This turned out so beautiful!
Always learn from your videos, thank you for sharing your artistry with us!
Wow!! That changed so much from when you first moved the paint around. I honestly did not expect that many cells..but wow!! I love how this type of art reminds me so much of nature..whether it be a specimen through a microscope or a geode. I can't wait to try this out myself.
Thanks Mis! Let me know when you try it out!
Hi Mely. This is wonderful technique. I was always wanted to know the technique without Silicone Thank you so much .
Very cool! I really like the way this one came out.

Beautiful piece! I wish you would also show what it looks like after it dries which is also different. You have talent!
T AM thanks! I post the results on my other social media :) sometimes i show the dried result at the end of the video too but haven't here.
Nice one…you’re good, girl. Like the stuff you create….simple is best👍🌷🌷

Thank you!
Beautiful as always!

I truly enjoy watching your videos. So much info and so much creativity. You rock!
Thank you so much Laura!
I loe your work, but I cannot seem to create the cells. I use Michael's pre stretched canvases Is my paint too thick? too thin?
Love it! So glad to hear you're selling! Yay. I love your work
That is AMAZING!!
That was so neat! Love it!
so glad to see you back on you tube... missed you!
Awesome thanks for sharing, love your paintings!!

Thanks! and yes you can add glitter to the paint
I love how you always run your finger through the paint. Your apartment must be a mess of paint. also love the flannel paints.
BRIAN Smith I try to keep my mess in the art room but yeah... it gets all over the house. And thanks:)
You're painting is gorgeous thank you for sharing this with us 👍
I had my doubts when you were pouring and then when you tipped it, but this is really nice!
Super cool. White really took over but later awesome stuff .

Stunning!!
Hi new subscriber... Meisha Untamed sent me... so glad she did... love your work...
Thank you so much for sharing what you do! Your videos are great!
I love your accent, it reminds me of my French Canadian relatives who I miss very much.
Thank you so much!
I think you sound Minnesotan 😃 So.. it's sooo cute. Your paintings are really neat. Glad I watched.
I love this!!!

Maureen Rooney it's really hard to say I'd have to see your dilution. The positioning and the way you use the different brands with each other plays a very important role. The artist loft reaaaly helps with the cells its a must.
Thank you so much! :)
I make soap and this is a technique...and then you tipped it !!! Definitely gonna do this
i think i have a new hobby...love your work!
That's great and thanks!
beautiful art!! do you ever torch your paintings?
Thanks! And nope. People who use torches use silicone
yours always turn out so amazing!
Thank you.
Brenda Imy thank you! all the paints need at least water to dilute them to the right consistency
WOW!!! That is awesome. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
blackitten2 thank you so much and you are most welcome!
You should do one like this black and white it would look like marble
Beautiful piece of work. I have just done my first pour and it doesn't look half as good as yours. I don't know if the paint was too thin but will continue practicing :)
Thank you so much and it takes practice! My first ones looked like crap ;)
That was amazing.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your process! Have you considered using left over smoothie (naked juice) bottles for mixing? I do a different kind of painting, but I like to dilute my paints. Kimberlee Rocca thanks for the idea but shaking is not a good way to prepare the paint for this. It must be mixed and blended not shaked. Thanks though!
Beautiful art! ...About how long does it take for something like this to dry?
Beautiful! What creates the cells? Did you use silicone and if so, what brand?
That was fantastic.
What kind of ratio do you use for the paint and water/pouring medium? I always mix mine with water and seem to add too much water.
Turned out great!
I'm just wondering if the quality of those craft paints..if they will fade or not hold up over time ..also do you think the mix of the craft paint and artist loft white is what gets you the effects you are looking for?
That was awesome
Did you use any silicone or anything else apart from paint and water? I love it. Pretty spectacular
Dorien Reed nope and thank you!
I love how this turned out!!! Great job. It seemed really runny to me, what ratio of paint to water did you use? And no silicone??
Dawn Lueders thank you! Ratios depends on brand and color but I don't measure. I go with consistency and feeling. And no, I never use silicone :)
hi! This process is AMAZING....and really pretty simple...one question: what makes the cells 'happen'??
Thanks! The different densities of colors intertwining
beautiful!!!
First of your videos iv seen and That's amazing I love it . I don't understand how you get such an affect just with water and pouring medium though also is that acrylic paint your using.. il be watching more and learning from them, whether il be able to et the same affects as you I can only hope .. thank you
Yes it is acrylic paint but hear I used pouring medium in only the white. I'm sure if you practice you will get it.
