Great video thank you very much for the advice. I just landed a new social work role with an adults team. I definitely utilised what you said. Once again thank you hun.
Thank you for sharing this video. I am an international student who is currently having my MSW in the US. I will be graduating this year and planning to locate a job in the UK. Your video is very helpful and insightful! Looking forward to seeing more!
@@KayleighRoseEvans thanks once again I have been offered two positions for my ASYE. This is the most helpful video on RUclips in relation to interview questions! ☺️
Great video I loved it, I’m in my third year at Nottingham. I’m just starting my final placement in permanence *YAY* next stop applying for jobs and interviews 😃
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Just a question, could you please direct me to a source or book on information regarding laws for former relevant children in the UK?
I'm a mature student on my first placement and your videos are helping me to carry on in this journey as I feel a bit inadequate at times surrounded by students and professionals much younger than me that are already in roles where they are above me in terms of experience and knowledge. I come from a support work background which is very much hands on and I sometimes doubt myself and ask ,is it really what I want to do?
Hi thanks for your message and glad the videos are helping. I think it's one of those things where a lot of people feel inadequate for different reasons at times in social work but I do genuinely think everyone has something unique to bring. It's so good if you already have that practical experience as well. I feel like a lot of people talk about imposter syndrome and that can be relevant. Good luck on your social work journey 😊
Thank you for this very useful video - perfect timing ! I am agency currently and have a job interview to go permanent in the team I am currently in tomorrow! ☺️
I had my first interview a few months ago (I got the job) and I would say, for me, the most important thing is to be genuine. I stumbled on a couple of the scenario questions but I was honest about my strengths and weaknesses which they seemed to appreciate. I've got a friend who is really struggling to get a job because she'll put any old rubbish in her application to try and impress them whether it's true or not and it looks fake.
Hey I think that's really good advice. Integrity is a key thing that's needed! I think I need to get that across in these videos so will do an update soon to include it - I appreciate your comment 🙂
Great as always Kayleigh 😊. I had a little watch of this before my recent interview...xx
Ahh brilliant!!! 😁 One of my best supporters ❤️xx
