I tried to Plank everyday for a month

    Planking 2024.
    I planked every day for the month of February, Or at least I tried to. Here is how my month went.
    The first week went smoothly, I filmed planking, mostly in terrible low light where I am kinda ashamed of the footage. Even for the first day of it, I shot it really dark for some reason. So much so that I had to play with the color correction and levels to make it even look semi passable.
    I attempted to plank for 1 minute a day. I didn’t plank at a specific time or anything, just when worked out. Or I remembered.
    The thing is that this month has been pretty rough. All I could really manage was walking still. Adding on Planking was not in the cards. I might try again, but for now all I can do is what I currently am when it comes to working out. I am not quitting, I am just acknowledging where I am in this moment and trying to give myself the grace of bowing out for now.
    Of all the things that I do for myself, Planking did not help my mental health or stress. It did not transform me, and even though I did not successfully Plank every day of February, I know I didn’t back slide on my previous goals from January.

    First, I love your haircut! I noticed it in your last video.. it's cute. Second, you're not a "failure" and putting videos like this out help others know they're not the only ones who fall short of a goal. Keep it up

    You learned a lot and got experience which isn’t failure! You know what you’re capable of and potential changes for the future! Doing planks 2-3 times a week could be a good goal, and that way it doesn’t get overbearing. The fact you continued what you started in January is an achievement and you’ve been doing an awesome job with self improvement!

      Thank you 😭❤️ I am definitely working hard to maintain January and work on mental health things. I could definitely see about planks a couple times a week 🤔
