I recall her saying that she did not feel worthy to sing this great song, but when it came close to the time of her retirement, she said, "Now is the time," and sang "My Way" so beautifully and with 100% conviction and sincerity. Very moving as we know she means every word. 💕

OK, far from flawless. But at 79 or 80 here (born 1934-10-13), she is one of the most worthy to sing this song: she most certainly has done it her way! And still delivers a very respectable performance many younger "stars" would struggle to equal.
(Nana/Julie/Mireille/Judith - my current [via RUclips, so I mean including at their peaks] top four, in completely different ways.)
