I live outside the USA so I need an app where I can just enter my monthly budget because I am not using my debit card daily, I transfer cash once a month and deal in cash. Zero debt.
Do any of the budgeting apps track envelopes or categories showing a list of the deposits and debits in each envelope like a spread sheet? In addition, I want to front load the envelopes or categories and deduct money from that particular envelope. I use an envelope spread sheet that I created, which divides the money in my checking account into the envelopes. This was inspired by Dave Ramsey; yet, his own app does not even do that? I cannot find an app that tracks the way I want or I definitely would love the convenience of the app. I am responsible enough to monitor and adjust my spending.
Great video! Only a couple things bothered me. A: it’s pronounced “game-i-fy” like turning something into a game. Took me a few times to realize you weren’t saying “gammafy” B: too much explanation on nonsexual strange addiction. Next time just say you collect Pokémon cards or something lol. Very good video though! Thank you!
Mint will not link to Wells Fargo, either regular accounts or brokerage accounts. Mint Cust Serv says its Wells Fargo's fault, Wells Fargo Cust serv say its Mint's fault. Really sucks because most of my stock portfolio is at Wells Fargo
I’m having the same problem, I’m thinking it has something to do with the premium subscription for $4.99 a month. If that’s the case I’m looking for another app to manage.
Hey Ryan, Loved your content. I just had one doubt bro. Is there any application for budgeting which helps in tracking my transactions automatically and you know fees into the application without linking my bank account? You know we get a notification once we do a transaction so is there anyway that those notifications can be traced by the app and the transactions can fetched into the application and can make it easier to budget my expenses…
Not that I know of. Think you either have to add them manually, link the app to your bank, or export transactions from your bank and import them into app. From my understanding. And that’s on any budgeting app.
The notifactions arte apart of your bank info, plus I think that much control over a iphone I think violates some rule some where. sorry linking bank account can be scary but its worth !
to be fair if you don't like it.. you have the right to express why you don't like it. there is a dislike button the same way there is a like button. 😊
Glad it was helpful, thank you for watching! That really comes down to personal preference. I'm not worried as i've never had an issue and there are safeguards in place like account balances being in read-only format (no way to transfer funds if Mint account was hacked, for example), bank level encryption, etc. Still, there are many people not comfortable linking and that's totally understandable.

The first one for sure
Been using YNAB for 4 months. Changed my financial life. I use the web version more than the phone app, but both are great.

Intuit Mint's app and website don't seem to be active. Are they temporarily not working or did it shut down?

I hate when people watch a whole video and won't like it but will leave a negative comment.

Linking your bank account to any app is a very stupid move. Do it manually, don't be lazy.
why?
