Wow!--Dawson, Dunston, Grace, Zimmer, Holy Cow, Cubs Win!!!!! Throw in a Sandberg and the whole gang was in this clip!!!! Great work!
Add Davis behind the plate😂
Nothing better than day baseball.
My favorite player ever
One of the greatest moments in Cubs history. Great to see the Hawk come through.
Andre Dawson was one of the best all around outfielders of the 1980s. Very similar to Dave Winfield as far as his all around talent.
In an era before the Braves were badass.
They took our beloved Greg Maddox.
my man The Hawk
Loved the '89 team....came out of nowhere
they couldn't beat the Giants in post, but LOVED the '89 Cubs team, they had so much clutch... Kudos to Don Zimmer for getting them as far as he did!
Man Nike Needs To Make 1989 Chicago Cubs Jerseys With No Buttons
Man I just sold a signed Dawson Jersey in this same style today to a guy. Seeing this makes me wish I hadn’t now.
*Jody* *Davis* catching for the *Braves* *?* What the?
He went back to his hometown tteam🍑
If he hadn't caught so many Day Games while really never having a backup- He'd have had a much more Notable Career. So underrated. Jodeeee- Jody Davis: King Of The Home Run Swing!
Andre Dawson!!!!!!#8 The Hawk!!!!
Hall of Fame baseball voice Harry Carey Cubs win Cubs win Cubs win
This was hawks worse career year ironically
Chicago Cubs Needs To Wear 1989 Cubs Jerseys With No Buttons And Names On The Back From Nike
They knew how to wear their stirrups back then. I miss those days. Modern MLB is a total shitshow.
Does Dawson have a son? If so could he play baseball? We could surely another like Andre.
In hindsight, I could of downed the 1989 braves
