"I'm sure there's so many references to things that I just don't get." ...yes. That's very much an understatement, haha! It's a testament to the skills of the developers that the game is being enjoyed by people who have no experience with Hololive. Every single weapon, item, and collaboration is a reference to a Hololive member. Every enemy is either the Fanbase of a Hololive member, or one of their mascots. Every one of the character specific skills is a reference to something that vtuber has done. Each of the bosses and mini-bosses is a reference. The HP of some characters is a reference specific to them as well. The odd-looking silver/gold bouncing head (as well as the destroyable stone bust) is the CEO of Cover Corp (parent company of Hololive Productions). It's actually ridiculous how many in-jokes and memes are crammed into this game, and it's still super enjoyable if you don't get any of them!

5:25 may have sounded familiar: it’s a classic Vocaloid song that’s become somewhat of a tradition for Hololive Vtubers to cover, called Fukkireta/Ochame Kinou
For a first game, you did pretty damn well. Gura as a character has natural healing through shark bite, but combine that with ubersheep and the \extremely damn lucky\ super horns, AS WELL AS headphones and pillow? that is a superb survivability build, especially when you have very little unlocked. A lot of characters you can unlock later on live and die by their skills, so it's a useful idea to focus on leveling those first.
Since everybody's already talking about how these are remixes to original Hololive songs, I'll mention that they guy who did all of these remixes - eufrik, has posted the songs onto his youtube channel. They are roughly 15 minute extensions. He usually posts them up a few days after each patch release.
So, as the (full) name of the game implies: the enemies you fight are representations of each vtuber's fandom. Here in stage 1, you will see characters that are references to the fan names of Hololive EN's first two generations (instead of numbers they now use group names): Holo Myth and Holo Council. In the latter half of the mission you get Council who each represent a specific part of the universe. Hakos Baelz (Chaos)'s brats...which are rats. Since graduated talent Tsukomo Sana (Space - represented by the Bread Dogs later. She made it part of her lore, dw about it.) Then you have Ouro Kronii (Time - represented by her Kroniies [like cronies] which are clock people unsurprisingly), Nanashi Mumei (Civilization - represent by her owls. I don't remember their fan name right now, which is weird because I would probably be one LOL!) and Ceres Fauna (Nature - represented by her saplings.) Each stage's fans / enemies are framed in this way, around the characters and gacha available in the update they were released with. There is two exceptions - the boss at 10 minutes and 20 minutes respectively. Boss at 10 minutes is a reference to jokes about Hololive in general, while 20 minute bosses are based on either vtubers or staff that have vtuber models this far. Ten minute boss in stage 1 is "Fubuzilla" which is a giant monster that destroyed the Hololive office in a (couple) of their online comedy skit anime shorts called HoloGra. Twenty minute boss in stage 1 is "Small Ame" which comes from Amelia's lore she changed for herself into a time traveler. It is supposed to be an alternate Ame that really likes to....well ground pound your mother. Not YOUR mother, all mothers, but you know what I mean. Stage 2 is themed around generation 0 and Gamers generations of Hololive Japan. Stage 3 is themed around gens 1 and 2. Stage 4 off the 3xthree woman generations from Hololive Indonesia. Gamers is weird in that they are really generation 1.5, excepting that one of them (Fubuki) was in generation 1. There is also the hard mode stages, but those are...more complicated lol. There is literally too much information to place in one thing here, but if you have questions feel free to ask!
This crossover is like if a non Sonic youtuber I regularly watch starts randomly talking about Sonic mid video, ending on singing a bit of "Live And Learn" while chat spouts sonic memes. You would think it would be rare, but that has happened more than once.
Every character has a unique weapon, unique Special attack, and 3 unique Skills. And yeah apart from the shop there is also other ways to lvl up character stats, when you get a duplicate in the Gacha, you up the "G Rank", the more G Rank you have, the more stats are upped for that character, you can also get "Fandom Rank" which depends on how much you use a character (as well as G Rank) and is basically the experience level for a character, the Fandom Rank can make characters very powerful. And finally there is also cooking in the HoloHouse that can give you a buff of your choosing for a few runs.
I remember 13 months ago when the very first builds of this dropped. Things already felt a lot better than what VS had become (which I played a heckton of too, but near v1.0 I was starting to get frustrated by their design decisions in places and I've not touched it since), and this was before they added the controls to make it a true twin-stick shooter. Once that was added, it wasn't even a fair fight anymore. The game is genuinely a blast, even for those who aren't completely submerged in the rabbit hole. And for those who are and know all the references, it's basically like taking every addictive substance you can think of all at the same time.
Seeing people who have little to no idea about Hololive from this game is always a fun thing to watch. I always like seeing them trying to piece everything. The skills and special give a general idea of who they are like Gura being a shark and small as she is one of the smallest members. Even without all of the knowledge you can still have a good time with the game. Lots of builds you can do based on the character too. Really shows when you do things like a one weapon run for example. The soundtrack is on RUclips, but I suggest you wait and listen to them after you find them in game. It is stage based.
the lava bucket is a refference to sakura miko, one of the girls from holo JP who is actually in the game. lets say she have had some bad incidents in minecraft with lava bucket
The cool thing with this game is that the level of depth isn't apparent from the beginning. It's funny watching new players grab a bunch of items and run around for like 15 minutes until they coincidentally trigger a golden anvil and realize they can combine weapons into stronger weapons. And even that is only scratching the surface.
The question of "who is more excited to see outsiders getting bewildered by the rabbit-hole of their particular hobby, hololive fans, 40k fans or FF14 fans" remains an open one.
The person in the body pillow and the statue in Stage 1 is their boss, the CEO of Hololive and its parent company Cover Corp. His name is Motoaki Tanigo or Yagoo (pronounced as "Yahgoh") reason why is because one of the talents misponounced his name in Kanji. And thus, the fandom call him as Yagoo the mobs in Stage 1 are in the following: Shrimp (walking shrimp), Deadbeats (skeleton), Takodachi (purple pancake octopus), KFP Employee (chicken), Bloom and Gloom (the black and white mobs), Investi-Gator (walking gator), Baerat, Kronie (walking alarm clock), Sapling, Hooman, Sanalite (bread-dog), Thicc Bubba (combination of her pet dog named Bubba and Grimace)
Thank you for being the only non Hololive person that ive watched play this go far that actually READS things and understands them instead of skimming, picking instantly and then not understanding anything.
I see you've picked up your one-way ticket to the Hololive rabbit hole, welcome aboard! It's been so fun to see a bunch of people trying out Holocure after Asmondgold started playing it, seeing people who know nothing (or nearly nothing) about hololive play the game is such fun. I'm happy you seem to be enjoying the game!
It's really fun watching new people play the games you're obsessed with. Especially Holocure cuz the game is made by a fan for the fans, so we're just a BIG community that comes together and keeps growing
Everything in this game is a reference. Knowing the deep lore can help you in your choices. And Suspect is stuck in every fan's head because of that first level.
Thanks for this video. Coming from the site of a hololive fan (and gamer anyway), I actually enjoy watching videos like this, where people, that have not too much knowledge about the characters, explore this game. Especially as this shows, even without the knowledge, it's a pretty enjoyable game, that Kay Yu (the dev) made. Well, I guess by now you know, the music depends on the level and if you watch further into it, you'll learn it's all hololive related music.
this reminds me of back in the day when people would play games and just entertain us with solo gameplay of them learning the game 2014-2017 time this is how we used to live and now everyones playing this i hope we get more idk fan made games where devs care about the game and what the community would like to see and enjoy within the game this is the best i wasnt meaning to stay the whole video but i ended up doing exactly that nice one i hope you enjoy the game and continue to play
Thanks for playing the game!!! You did great for a first try! Not only that, you got the no dmg for 5 min achievement which is especially rare if it's your first time playing. Hope to see you play the game some more. Welcome to the rabbit hole!
The game is amazing, even without any context of the vtubers, but knowing all the memes behind, makes it even better. Also, this was what made me buy Vampire Survivor!
Kay Yu the dev said he will only add Hololive and Holostars (the male branches) to the game, and don't worry, there's a LOT more charactrer not in yet, like Gen 3 (Fantasy), Gen4, Gen5, HoloX and the Stars, ID is fully in so far (with all 3 gens for this update). Also, Gura isn't exactly made fun for being short but she has a lot of stories where is looked at as a child IRL xD There is a TON in this game, and half of it was just added with this insane update (The HoloHouse for instance, which include Fishing and Farming). Skills are character unique abilities, Stats up are permanent (for this run) passive buffs, Weapon is your attack arsenals (You can do some stuff with them when they are fully upgraded.) and items is ''general'' gear. Super items are OP as all hell and can't be upgraded, you were very lucky to have got the Super Horn (one of the most usefull items IMO). All the music in the games are remixes of official Hololive songs/covers ; in the first stage the song is called Suspect, by Nakiri Ayama, Aki-Rosenthal and Roboko-san. And they are level based (my favorite is S3 ; Koyoi wa Halloween Night) Generaly you should usualy starts by upgrading you're main weapon (IE Gura's Trident) up to awaken, then work on personal skill unless you have a really good item you know you will need and then go for whatever else you'll need. Also, don't worry about the maps, they are basicaly infinite loop and there's nothing hidden, you might see some crates that spawned around though. They usualy contains food but sometime they have EXP or something for something you haven't seen in this run. The Plug Type Asacoco is a perfectly normal item. Don't worry about it. Yupe. Totally normal. Edit : There are many ways to boost your character, getting multiple in Gacha, a system you have to unlock in shop, food you can cook in HoloHouse modes. There's are many ways to get strong in this game, don't worry about it.
"You're that one character I like to use!" I mean, you joke like that, but whenever these girls sing these songs my brain immediately lights up like "hey, it's the song from HoloCure"
@@LckD008 There WAS, but I played this game for the first time a YEAR ago, and there wasn't this option. And from what I know only by using controller you could aim freely just like now, then they added it so, that you can do it without controller.
The game is surprisingly good due to the people behind it, Kai Yu, if I spelled it correctly, is an animator who has worked on actual anime series, has done music videos for Hololive talents, but also, was one of the animators on the side scroller beat 'em up River City Girls, so they got experience.
All of the girls have skills specific to them, it's one of the things that is really good about this game. Also there are a LOT of references to things that the girls have done, for example Elite Lava Bucket is a reference to something that Miko did in Minecraft. Haste is attack speed. ;)
Na~~ It's okay, even if you don't know these people, you'll just miss a few easter eggs like item names and collar. Oh and...welcome to the rabbit hole...and yes you can't get out, enjoy~
Anyway, I urge you to start by spending your money on specials and upgrades. Money drop bonus after completing the stage in the shop. and everything will go faster
I believe that unofficial mods for holocure do exist, but they very likely all broke with the new patch. I have never used one before so I can't help with specifics.
The Shop will upgrade things for you. There are three tabs. 20 duplicates will rank up the character to maximum stat. Random Hololive things: Calliope Mori is one of Death's assistants. Calliope Mori's “Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?” ruclips.net/video/5y3xh8gs24c/видео.html The right pointed triangle is the Hololive Logo. Gawr Gura is the smol, flat-chested, Atlantian blue shark. (Smallest bounce ball) And Mumei is an owl. Both of them sound similar. And they tried to trick other Holo V-tubers. The Bat Skeletons and Axe Shrimps are from this video: Calliope Mori x Gawr Gura x DECO*27 ruclips.net/video/aetXqd9B8WE/видео.html
Subbed to see you play this more often because I started a few days ago as well and there's plenty more I haven't seen/uncovered. Will definitely enjoy seeing you experience the game the same way I do haha
This has to be one of the most impressive fan projects I have ever seen. Been playing since Day 1 and still enjoying my stay. Some of the achievements (and stages) are pretty brutal but you know, it's the kind of games where failure frustrates you but keep you coming back!
I am just going to say one thing, there is a lot to check out in this game like holy, it kinda felt overwhelming in the beginning but once you see most combinations it feels natural what to combo on which character
great gameplay.glad to see that even tho you didnt know vtubers/hololive a lot..still come ingame with open mind and had genuine fun..game has a lot of depth..like collabs like the one u got...there is loads of collabs and even greater collabs, bunch of unique characters,a lot of stages, great music, minigames, crazy builds, interesting systems..and there will be MUCH more..since developers said he wants to include all hololive members..and we not even half way there...
slight info dump here, yes, every character have different skills and main weapon (and special ! or ult you might say) there are 4 thing you might get every level up. weapons, items, skills, and stat up. skills and stat up does not take up any slot. there also 2 type of weapon, meele and and range. you can lvl up your weapon and main weapon to max level 7 (only main weapon can awakened), can still upgrade it like +1 for aditional damage with anvil. tho, chance rate are lower the more +number you have on the weapon (and coslty). after weapon got level 7, you can collab (combine) 2 weapon to make a stronger weapon with golden anvil, and some of that can even do super collab (collab weapon+item) to make even stronger weapon. normal anvil can also enchant weapon *(after you buy enhancement system in shop) to gift said weapon aditional effect (like cd, dmg, hit rate, + projectile,, etc) some item may level up to 5 level, you cannot upgrade it past its max level like weapon. there's 3 type of item , defensif item, stat up item, and healing item. if you really lucky, you might also get super item(very good item with max lvl from the get go) from boxes drop from bosses. there's also stamp system you can unlock at shop , which can give effect to main weapon, with stamp that drop from mobs.
Seeing the reactions of non-hololive fans playing holocure is the reason i watch lmaooo Below some tips, feel free to ignore the below long comment (ive been watching other channels trying this game out, so ill just copy paste my comment) A good rule of thumb in playing a character is focusing first in their respective main weapons and their three unique skills and maxing them out. Its where they show their playstyle. Some focused on healing, some on critical, or being durable/dodging. Weapons/items/skills can sometimes have a blinking yellow '+' on the lower right of the box, press right directional key/button to scroll and see more. px means pixels. Some skills will have a visual indicator of its effects by a circle around your character. Collabs can be done by two weapons that are lvl7. Its from golden anvils. Golden anvils will appear if you possess two compatible weapons that are lvl7. Weapons can be leveled up in lvlups and normal anvils. Leveling up weapons in anvils are free on 1-7. 7 and higher cost holocoins and can fail. Weapons max out at 7. Some Items max at 3-5. Skills max at 3. The most recommended to buy first on the shop is Unlocking the Special Attacks, it costs 500coins. Specials of each character are very different and can serve as being a panic button. In the shop there is three options at the top-Enhancements,Stat Upgrades,Others. Buying from stat upgrades can greatly help in clearing stages. You can get duplicates on gacha and it will increase the stats of the respective character by 1% and get 1 tear. The tears can be interpreted as some kind of pity system. Use up the tears to choose the character/character outfit you want and get it instantly.
I've learned that the best way to play this game is to focus on upgrading weapons and combining them. There is an option to check all possible Collabs. For most of my early runs I used Kiara because she also has some good healing abilities and before doing any gacha I upgraded the coin production and used items that increased coin production. I actually managed to get all the characters unlocked really quickly through a mixture of good luck in the gacha and prioritizing coin collecting.
It's always funny to me that the counterpart of the bible in this game is a BL book, and people are like "i believe in the power of jesus" and i'm here like, "Hell yeah, don't stop believing bro! No, seriously don't, cause it's very entertaining to watch."
If you want to practice more shmup but aren't too good at them yet, maybe you might want to try "The Void Rains Upon Her Heart"? The skill ceiling is high but there are lower difficulty levels to get you started and gradually bring you up. Also, the game wholesome and more content appear as you play.
The Elite Lava Bucket is in fact a minecraft thing. Its a reference to when Sakura Miko accidently spilled lava over workpieces (including her house) in minecraft, multiple times. You really should watch those clips.
Since this is the first "new person to Holocure" that I've seen comment on the music: All of the music from the intro, the menu, and the stage music are all "chiptune-like" renditions of popular Hololive original songs. The Stage 1 track is called "Suspect". I think the only bgm in this game that's not a Hololive original is the Holozon lootbox opening, which was originally a Vocaloid song that has been heavily incorporated into Hololive's culture.
Since you also comment on the pixel art later, the lead developer for Holocure (Kay Yu) was also the key animator for River City Girls and for the Advanced Wars Remakes, hence the outstandingly expressive pixel art and animation. Additionally, they were an animator on several anime including but not limited to Sword Art Online, Boruto, Onimai, and Mushoku Tensei. EDIT: The dual-bosses at 23:00 is also a reference to a music video that Kay Yu animated for Calliope Mori and Gawr Gura's original song called "Q" (yes, just the single letter). The skeletons are Calli's fans and the shrimp are Gura's fans. The music video involves something of a gang war between the two groups, hence why they're charging at each other from opposite ends of the screen and stampeding the player in the middle.
Ngl i stil dont like vtubers myself, but i dont judge anyone that do. But the game is so much fun even without knowing them, props to the devs. Glad that they enjoy vtubers so much that they made a rly good game
If you want new characters to play with, roll on other banners other than Myth. Myth is your starting 5 characters. I wouldn't go too crazy too fast with unlocking new characters. My two cents is to play with each character you currently have available and survive 10 minutes in Stage 1, if not win. This will unlock weapons and equipment that you might see on your next runs, which will open up more collab weapons. Each run you finish, win or lose, will give you Holocoins, so it's not a bad idea to discover new unlocks, get Holocoins for upgrades and gacha, rinse and repeat. Or you could lose hours in fishing to fund your upgrade and gacha sprees, as fish can be sold for sand, which can be converted 1:1 for Holocoins. That's a thing too.
Protip, this game does *not,* in fact, do the Vampire Survivors map thing. Stages are completely empty (and the later ones happen in constrained spaces that you *cannot* leave even if you want to). As a result, it also doesn't do the little VS cheat where if you move too far away, all the experience is gathered for you into a single red gem just off the edge of your screen. For this reason it's strongly recommended to avoid moving far away from your main position and move only in circles if you need to dodge stuff, since the Big Succ is a rare spawn and you can't always rely on getting it.
This is how the addic- FANDOM starts! It helps that the game's legit fun and high quality, and keeps getting bigger & better. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Enjoy your stay.
I'm having too much fun with this game, have already put 12 hours total into it these past few days. I wish it was on mobile so I could play anywhere hahaha
I was just randomly watching an anime and i saw the game's creator in the credits multiple times. Also is it just me or is the theme song a very abstract version of Goodbye Declaration?
Since the video was recorded i've played some in my free time! It's been a blast.
I'll likely record myself going through the stages (as requested by a friend) and i'll try and use characters i'm not used to!

When you feel confident enough later, I recommend some challenges like no items, no added weapons, hardcore mode (1hp), etc

OH! And...if you get to thirty minutes in endless, there is another secret - but if you don't know Hololive it won't be very funny lol.
I came here to tell you what mumei fans were called, being myself somewhat of one, when I realized, I don’t know what they’re called…
Mumei's fandom are Hoomans. You also didn't mention Irys's Arystocrats, represented by the black and white cherubs.
@@TsukuneD right, thank you friend
Was just gonna sat korone is doog god..
This crossover is like if a non Sonic youtuber I regularly watch starts randomly talking about Sonic mid video, ending on singing a bit of "Live And Learn" while chat spouts sonic memes.
You would think it would be rare, but that has happened more than once.
Well bit fitting as Sega did do a crossover with Hololive one… Korone Specifically
"Special delivery!" 8:36
And literally it's special cause it's a Super item lol
I remember 13 months ago when the very first builds of this dropped. Things already felt a lot better than what VS had become (which I played a heckton of too, but near v1.0 I was starting to get frustrated by their design decisions in places and I've not touched it since), and this was before they added the controls to make it a true twin-stick shooter. Once that was added, it wasn't even a fair fight anymore.
The game is genuinely a blast, even for those who aren't completely submerged in the rabbit hole. And for those who are and know all the references, it's basically like taking every addictive substance you can think of all at the same time.
26:34 pure bread dogs , obviously xD
Best part btw is that every item, weapon, skill, and boss are a refrence to something in the hololive world. There is a wiki with them all too
The question of "who is more excited to see outsiders getting bewildered by the rabbit-hole of their particular hobby, hololive fans, 40k fans or FF14 fans" remains an open one.
There might or might not be a significant overlap
"It's like the Bible"

The person in the body pillow and the statue in Stage 1 is their boss, the CEO of Hololive and its parent company Cover Corp. His name is Motoaki Tanigo or Yagoo (pronounced as "Yahgoh") reason why is because one of the talents misponounced his name in Kanji. And thus, the fandom call him as Yagoo
the mobs in Stage 1 are in the following: Shrimp (walking shrimp), Deadbeats (skeleton), Takodachi (purple pancake octopus), KFP Employee (chicken), Bloom and Gloom (the black and white mobs), Investi-Gator (walking gator), Baerat, Kronie (walking alarm clock), Sapling, Hooman, Sanalite (bread-dog), Thicc Bubba (combination of her pet dog named Bubba and Grimace)
Please play more. I love this game and you were super entertaining to watch
Would LOVE to watch more of this. Please make this episodic
It's really fun watching new people play the games you're obsessed with.
Especially Holocure cuz the game is made by a fan for the fans, so we're just a BIG community that comes together and keeps growing
Holy hell who would have thought this is how I'd run into you again Mega, glad you had fun with Holocure man!
Everything in this game is a reference. Knowing the deep lore can help you in your choices.
And Suspect is stuck in every fan's head because of that first level.
If you want the game soundtrack the producer is eufrik and they also have a yt channel
Welcome to the rabbit hole.
16:37 in Stage 1, 10 minute boss is Fubuzilla and the last boss in 28:35 Smol Ame.
1:41 "THIS MUSIC IS BOP!!" oh YESS!! wait until you can play hard stages.
Been a bit since I hopped in over there, but I so hope you end up playing this some more over on Twitch. This game rules.
And they are level based (my favorite is S3 ; Koyoi wa Halloween Night)
Generaly you should usualy starts by upgrading you're main weapon (IE Gura's Trident) up to awaken, then work on personal skill unless you have a really good item you know you will need and then go for whatever else you'll need.
These last few daysit has been my hobby to watch people outside of the hololive sphere play this.
It has been a lot of fun
"You're that one character I like to use!" I mean, you joke like that, but whenever these girls sing these songs my brain immediately lights up like "hey, it's the song from HoloCure"
In version before you couldn't aim, but by holding a space bar you could lock the way your attack was going, and you still can.
There IS aiming in the version from the before the steam release, idk if it had controller aim support though.
@@LckD008 There WAS, but I played this game for the first time a YEAR ago, and there wasn't this option. And from what I know only by using controller you could aim freely just like now, then they added it so, that you can do it without controller.
if i can recommend you a way to start with the clips, go and see the 1 2 5 incident between kiara and gura. i love that moment
We don't talk about the 1 2 5 incident OwO
There is a Pippi mod. Or was, definitely has to be broken now.
I do hope you continue playing holocure, it’s actually such a fun game and i would love to see you progress through it :0

welcome to the hololive rabbit hole!!! were glad to capture another soul
Subbed to see you play this more often because I started a few days ago as well and there's plenty more I haven't seen/uncovered. Will definitely enjoy seeing you experience the game the same way I do haha
after this, the next logical progression is Touhou, which would be extremely interesting
Oh lord that would be something 😂
Well oh boy do I have news for you.
This has to be one of the most impressive fan projects I have ever seen. Been playing since Day 1 and still enjoying my stay. Some of the achievements (and stages) are pretty brutal but you know, it's the kind of games where failure frustrates you but keep you coming back!
You were able to get me to laugh quite a few times, I like you! 👍
Glad you had a good time! Hoping to see more holocure from you
I am just going to say one thing, there is a lot to check out in this game like holy, it kinda felt overwhelming in the beginning but once you see most combinations it feels natural what to combo on which character
Most of the time, you want to get all the character's skills (3) to max level (LV3) so then you'll have more choice in terms of items and weapons :3
great gameplay.glad to see that even tho you didnt know vtubers/hololive a lot..still come ingame with open mind and had genuine fun..game has a lot of depth..like collabs like the one u got...there is loads of collabs and even greater collabs, bunch of unique characters,a lot of stages, great music, minigames, crazy builds, interesting systems..and there will be MUCH more..since developers said he wants to include all hololive members..and we not even half way there...
Book and axe combined is insane
Gotta love it when even people who don't really know jack about Hololive agree the game is as much of a banger as it is adorable
Love this man, would love to see more of this in the future 🤣 hahah ggs
You have my sub, looking foward to see you play this game again!!
slight info dump here,
yes, every character have different skills and main weapon (and special ! or ult you might say)
there are 4 thing you might get every level up. weapons, items, skills, and stat up. skills and stat up does not take up any slot.
there also 2 type of weapon, meele and and range.
you can lvl up your weapon and main weapon to max level 7 (only main weapon can awakened), can still upgrade it like +1 for aditional damage with anvil. tho, chance rate are lower the more +number you have on the weapon (and coslty). after weapon got level 7, you can collab (combine) 2 weapon to make a stronger weapon with golden anvil, and some of that can even do super collab (collab weapon+item) to make even stronger weapon.
normal anvil can also enchant weapon *(after you buy enhancement system in shop) to gift said weapon aditional effect (like cd, dmg, hit rate, + projectile,, etc)
some item may level up to 5 level, you cannot upgrade it past its max level like weapon.
there's 3 type of item , defensif item, stat up item, and healing item.
if you really lucky, you might also get super item(very good item with max lvl from the get go) from boxes drop from bosses.
there's also stamp system you can unlock at shop , which can give effect to main weapon, with stamp that drop from mobs.
Awesome playthrough. You did very well on your first run. Excited to see you enjoy it more.
This is great! I hope you'll do more :D
Seeing the reactions of non-hololive fans playing holocure is the reason i watch lmaooo
Below some tips, feel free to ignore the below long comment (ive been watching other channels trying this game out, so ill just copy paste my comment)
A good rule of thumb in playing a character is focusing first in their respective main weapons and their three unique skills and maxing them out.
This game is more fun than vampire survivors sometimes. Hololive fans are scary skilled honestly
Game is very cool, really! I am very excited to play new characters left for me (I haven't tested all of them yet).
Great video man! It was very entertaining
Great video , gura is my favorite character powerfull and fun to play with ... cant wait for the next video
This is the just the more in depth free version of VS with a kick ass sound track a cute anime gals lol
Since this is the first "new person to Holocure" that I've seen comment on the music:
All of the music from the intro, the menu, and the stage music are all "chiptune-like" renditions of popular Hololive original songs.
Welcome to the rabbit hole, kindly check in your sanity at the entrance. Thank you!
Eh, adding non-hololive vtubers is what mods are for.
Pretty sure theres already one for Pipkin Pippa from Phase Connect
Theres also Indonesian member. Its also the newest addition in the new update
I barely know any VTubers either.
Only silhouette i could recognise in the crowd was Chronii cos of that dial/satellite thing on her head.
