Thank you very much Lawrence, I want to ask you about the connections tool, can I add the connections ( dowels from the Columns to the foundations in a way the I got them in the four directions? I'm speaking here about the part of the bar which lay on the bottom reinforcement of the foundation and go to the short or long direction side of the foundation, can I model them and let two connection to be layed on the bottom bars of the foundations and go the short direction of the foundation and the other two bars to the long direction? hope that my question is clear thanks in advance
Hi, are you asking to be able to rotate the leg of the bar that sits on the bottom foundation rebar layers? If so, this will need to be done after placing the starter bars.
and another question, when we add the reinforcement for the foundation, we can only choose the number of the bars to be sthe same in both long and short direction, couldnt we edit that? to let the number of the bars in the long direction more than the number of the bars in the short direction?
Thank you!, is there anyway that when we change the number of the bars to let it be saved in naviate? So that I can apply it then for the another foundations? Hope it’s clear and thank you :) The same question for the connection if they were rotated can I apply this rotation in naviate so that i earn the naviate benefits? (Change one connection to change all the connections)
@@ghaithtaher9907 you can save the configurations made within Naviate, however, if you’ve added bars outside Naviate then you can use the propagate method in Revit
When creating the foundation you can independently control the bars in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The default state is to apply the settings to both directions but you can select a single direction for control over spacing and shapes etc
That is so beautiful I love naviate rebar it's a great tool ❤

This is something that we hope to add to the connection tool in the future.

Where can we find naviate latest update learning tutorials?
How do I turn off dynamic update ?
In Revit 2025 you can delete the rebar constraints.
