I did something similar, but finding a color palette has always been a challenge since I like different colors and can wear a variety of colors, but has really helped a great deal, I feel a refresh of my wardrobe coming up. Thank you
Such great ideas... I've just stated doing this with my wardrobe and it's been such an eye opener looking at the things I wear and it's also helped me identify what my style actually is, so no more silly purchases for me! Great video xx

I am perusing through your videos Jamie and came across this one. I love your advice. I culled my wardrobe last January 2017 and probably 40% was let go- I called it my BRUTAL CULL! But yesterday I culled again and am reselling 6 nice pieces that were on my not sure list. So once you do the initial BRUTAL CULL, it makes it so much easier after that. Now I am saving for a Acne sweater or a boyfriend cashmere. And that makes me happy. Clothes!! Such fun, such WORK! Lisa

I 100% agree with that - I've been listening to a LOT of The Minimalists lately and it just re inspired me to get rid of a bunch of things, including stuff that I do like but maybe just don't feel as good as I should in them. Wardrobes are definitely work, that's for sure!
Great advice! I also find your style changes and evolves over the years too! So it's important to get rid of those certain styles you bought when you were going through a phase......

Do you shop at Zara? They have really nice basics like linen T's, etc. However, their bags are knock offs usually and only last one season I have found. Better to splurge on a better quality one which will last for years! Speaking of consignment stores, I have found some great items there, like a few Chanel bags and sweaters which I have had for 20 years now! I frequent them often, and find it much more fun than shopping on-line

Maybe once every 6 months I will pop in to browse but nothing ever really jumps out at me - I actually tend to prefer Topshop if I'm going to buy something that I won't be keeping forever. I would really like to tidy my wardrobe and throw away/donate some things but at the Same time it makes me sad that I have to give away f.e. some blouses that I have worn twice (maybe) because I have made a mistake buying them. They are made of polyestere and they make me smell really bad (!!!). Also, i would really like to do the project 333 but I don't want to get rid of half of my wardrobe because I have so much clothes that I really like and that I just want to wear it. Some tips? Oh, and let's not talk about bags. I could never get rid of/not wear all of my bags! Thanks again for the video. It's useful and you make me want to reorganize mine :) Have a nice day, Jamie!
vale m Thank you! Now that we are coming into winter, I feel like it's the perfect time to start wearing more of a bold lip. I would try to look at it from the other side of the scale - think about the people who will be able to buy something (at a largely discounted price) which they might not have been able to do otherwise. Alternatively you could look at bundling some items and selling them on eBay, then the bad purchase doesn't seem like such a bad decision as you get a little bit of money back for what you bought. Well with Project 333 you're just focusing on wearing a selection over that month - you don't get rid of anything else so it's always there. Perhaps do a one month wardrobe challenge instead (30x30 wardrobe challenge) - it's a lot less difficult as you only have to worry about wearing the same items over a month period and you have 30 items to play with which is a lot. You could choose to include bags or choose not to. If you're using something then I wouldn't get rid of it for the sake of getting rid of things, you know what I mean?
