What an amazing opportunity! As a veterinarian who has worked with wildlife and zoo animals (never on that scale!) I found myself torn between “hurry up and get to the gem stuff” and “I want to see more of the sanctuary” 😂 Thanks for sharing!!!!

What an amazing experience you had, I would love to do this trip one day, and hopefully, bring my future cutting team.. i extremely enjoyed your journey and always love to watch your videos. Kind regards Dougy
Why is the price one pays for rough so guarded? Is it to avoid scrutiny? If you got a bargain, great. If you over indulge, then experience gained. We're vicariously following along with your first hand experience to gain insight. Keep up the great vids!
Thank you. Regarding price for rough. My answer remains unchanged. I am very happy to make tutorial videos on how to cut gemstones, and I hope they help new cutters improve their cutting. I will leave to others the debate the right price for various rough material. There are many Face Book sites where these topics are debated, constantly, and the discussions almost always end up a bit heated (ok, lets be honest...ALWAYS end up heated)...so I will pass on any such discussions. If you find a piece of gemstone rough that you like....but it! Best of luck!
Hey, Mike! It was a great trip, and lovely to meet you! Hope to bump into you again sometime!
Thank you, but I am at a disadvantage as I don't recognize the name gem facets? Who is this?
