Great video and info. however it’s important to clarify that the majority of flavored yogurts have added sugars. plain unsweetened yogurt does not have added sugar. it’s very important to distinguish between the 2.
Would someone out there please tell me WHERE the data on these food nutrition labels comes from? There is never a source mentioned - no independant laboratory, nothing. Are the food manufacturers filling in the categories themselves? 😮
It is an obsolete labeling system ... It seems that the United States is lagging behind, look at all Latin American countries and Europe, rapidly advancing to an improved and clear Nutrition Labeling... Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, UK, France, Australia..etc
Why is the nutrition facts label generalized if "we all need a different amount of nutrients every day". Whats even the point of labeling our food if requirements vary by person?
I don’t think you have the right to say Saturated fat is bad for you. That’s disingenuous to the general public. Some benefit from saturated fat, some people do not. I believe there should be a follow up video on this..
1. She's a dietitian 2. She never said you're not allowed to consume saturated fats, rather minimise its consumption. The body still needs it but too much is related to heart diseases
