People nowadays just stan a group just because they are handsome. Im not saying winner is not handsome but come on winner is one of the most talented group ever. ALL WINNER's songs were self-composed and written by themself. They dance very well. and Seunghoon is the choreographer. They do everything and not just buy songs/dance from other people. Wake up guys, winner is so talented but so underrated. They deserves more than what they deserves right now.

For me it's not about having a fast upbeat song, this song is just pretty bland. Empty is better but this one is just lacking some flavor, some feeling... it's just not there.

I fell in love with KSY's voice in this song. So full of emotions he reminds me of Bommie. One strong point of Winner is they are all talented musicians. They write and compose, which other debutant boy groups can claim that? Contrary to popular opinions of their title songs being mellow and boring, Im actually glad they did the classy approach. It's different and refreshing. They look like theyve been in the business for years

So many people miss this era of WINNER, I mean, the ballad era. Like empty,babybaby, or even color ring. But for me their new era (since really really) is way better. Because I don't know why, WINNER is really good at bringing ballad vibes so if they're singing a sad song, it will be so hurt to hear. Like I think "do they really feel this pain?" But when hear WINNER sing happy or beat song, it's really fun to hear them. Well, everyone has opinion and it's a proof that WINNER really makes and sings very well!
It just came to me. When Taehyun was still with Winner, they did ballad and indie songs (which I really love) but when he left they totally changed their style. Maybe Taehyun felt that their music wasn't in the same direction. Maybe he felt that right from the start his style was different from yg. That's why they were different unlike other Yg artists who leaned more on the hip-hop style. It pains me to see Winner as 4 and I'll never look at them the same again. If you watch WIN YG sajangnim actually really like NamTae's style, he even got his own solo. I'd say it's the general who were complaining about Winner debut songs but me as a fan since Team A I really love it. Then YG sajangnim asked Seungyoon to stop using his guitar, he started writing more upbeat title songs and was well received. As Inseo I still love those too but mainly the whole album is better because from there I can find the old feel that I love.

This is like a group that complements the strengths and weaknesses of the group, Taehyun with the ballad and indie genres, Mino with the hip hop genre, and other members as well (I'm not really into Winner yet).

If you have watched literally anything about WINNER you would have known they weren't going to be all crazy uptempo hiphop #swag lol. Which is why they won in the first place, because they are doing something different. I wish that everyone could love this debut as much as I do. But if a slow tempo ballad wasn't what you expected or wanted to begin with, you probably won't be able to appreciate how beautiful these two songs are. Honestly though, I'll probably be giving these two videos enough views to make up for all those people. This is the kind of music I live for. Yeah, an uptempo party song with a catchy hook may last you a summer or a year but then you'll forget about it and move on to the next song that's exactly like it. But I search for songs like this when a group comes out with a new album, and it's songs like this (touching, beautiful, lovely singing, and emotional rapping) that I keep coming back to and constantly listen to for years and never get tired of them. So congratulations on your debut WINNER! This album was even better than I thought it was going to be.
I didn't watch them before...I tried but couldn't get into the shows their humor was just a bit off for me. Anyways I guess I was disappointed since the trailer seemed really cool and honestly better shot. That's the music video I wanted to watch lol. Katherine Darnell I feel like that was a backhanded complement. I thought this video was very well shot and had great emotional acting (especially for a MV). Taehyun's crying in the bathtub seemed very real to me. I don't think WINNER will be successful just because they are a part of YG... they will be successful because they are talented artists who work very hard. Just because a group is a part of a big company does not mean automatic success. Yes, maybe it means they will have a better chance at it because they will receive more promotion. But if the group sucks they suck and a sucky group isn't going to be successful no matter what company they're in.

For me, WINNER already debuted a long, long, long time ago. They got to compose songs, had missions, and performed upbeat songs in 'WHO IS NEXT'. They had many inspiring songs too. They had powerful dance choreos. They opened a cocert. They had a reality show. For me they had debuted as Team A and just changed their name.
Yea! Its more like a comeback in my eyes. I really love that they went this route. People say that its not fitting for summer but to me it fits just right. Its kinda like a summer rain. I don't know but I'm really proud of our boys and I hope everyone just takes a break from hating on them and just ENJOY the beautiful songs and album.

They really had a successful debut. Empty made all-kill for a rookie group but YG ruined them with not giving them a comeback. It's true that they gaid more success with really really after taehyun departure but still they were able to be mooore popular. And I miss their indie style

I like the fact that YG made sure that Winner's debut is very different from their senior's, so that people won't keep comparing them to their seniors from the start. I went to a korean shop here in my country and dang it! The songs they are playing are all WINNER and BIGBANG songs! And it made me so happy because there are lots of korean groups out there but they chose WINNER and BIGBANG songs to be played as background music on their newly-opened store :D

for people who are "disappointed"by lack of upbeat title tracks and what not, u need to understand how debuts work in the kpop industry a debut most of the time isn't meant to be a hugely popular track but rather setting the tone for the artist/group and gives an impression to the audience in the case of winner, its to strike a difference from bigbang, and set themselves as a sleek,young,model-like group who writes music that expresses their own emotions and thoughts the title tracks fit perfectly for their debut image, and this would eventually develop into big hits as they continue on their career they have a great future ahead of them!

Decided to listen this song after the drama on twitter over empty. Sometimes it hurts me how some people said WINNER's debut popularity solely because empty was co-composed by B.I when actually the way WINNER sang, performed and carried the song also played a role in their success. I still resent YG for making the decision to debuted WINNER with empty when WINNER and the staffs prefered different.
Yup. Those ikonic are so annoying. Empty was a good song but it will flop if not for winner's vocal line. And arguably different is a better song and a statement too, winner is different from your another boy group, instead they debuted with a song which describe how the loser team felt after they lost the showdown with winner.

If you read the lyrics is more like about depression and mental health. And that would have been more successful had team B released it at the time.
yes.. i was concern abt their feelings more cause during win especially the last stage during the final battle, mr. Yang praised their ability to make music and said that when they debut all the track could be made solely by themselves (cause u know its suuuper normal that alot of idols got song MADE for them) and i guess alot of team b's fan got mad or smthng especially knowing that song was made by B.I during the his lowest point. And in Winner TV when mr Yang evaluate the songs that they submitted, only Taehyun's songs got positive feedback (thats why we have ibam (Tonight) and one more i forgot) and he told them about seeing B.I stayed in the studio until 3 a.m. and decided to spent the night there. It's hard when u put 2 talented boybands with their own charms and style (although both of them is YG style i would say) in a freaking popular survival show (win) when the winner gets to debut first, of course they'll got compared alot :((

In YG fams, I just can identify each voice of Big Bang and Winner member. Because each member have different voice&vibe in their group, so it's easy to me to know who sing what part.

Some say they're disappointed because now is summer, and the trend in summer is dance, hiphop songs. Slow and sad songs will kill their debut. I don't think so. They must be different to be outstanding. In the past, Big Bang became famous because they were different. They sang hiphop songs while other singers focused on ballad and pop songs. Now Winner do the same thing. They're trying to be different and also show their unique colors. Actually if they followed hiphop and dance trend I would be disappointed because I don't wanna see them as a normal idol group or as a copy of Big Bang. They're always different, from the first time i saw them in WIN till now. Good job my boys

It's funny to me that so many fans are surprised their songs aren't hardcore hiphop. WINNER was never a hiphop group, honestly. Even before they won Who Is Next, the other YG artists were speculating that they would probably be YG's first ballad group. Personally, I love that their style is different from previous YG groups we've seen. Even though the company is known for their hiphop, WINNER is going with their own strengths and their own style, which is a great move. So good job YG and WINNER for sticking to their guns!
Artists like AkMu and LeeHi arent even Hiphop. I feel like some people expected them to be BigBang 2.0 since they are the next boy group after them but Winner has their own color and they are a very unique group.

I'm re watching all videos of my Winner babies and realized the reason why I came to love and adore this group. It's because their genre is different. You know how much YG's into hiphop and upbeat songs right?. And this group made a different one. I was expecting that they will debut with hiphop and upbeat song but they didn't. They came up with a very smooth melo-dramatic song which I totally fell in love with. In my own opinion (MY OWN) WINNER members are perfectly grouped. Each of them have a role in the group plus they are so kindhearted. This group is so classy. Now, I'm getting really excited for their comeback (I hope soon). I really missed them. WINNER fighting!

For me this is one of the best thing that they can offered to us at the moment. Think it wisely this only a debut song. They still and will have a lot of thing to treasure in the future. Give them some chances. But i have no problem with their colour actually. I love them and i knew this kind of genre is really suit them. I know a lot of people have so much and high expectation on them because they came from YGE (which is famous and more to hip hop genre) and we have waiting for so long to see they debut but always remember that YG not a typical company which is they will debut a group if he see something different about them. You know you will be bored if you have been feed with a same damn thing over and over again. Im proud that this boys are different from a lot of kpop group out there. YG family wont follow the trend they set the trend. They are the trend.

Anybody here? I'm kinda sad that people seem to have forgotten about Winner. I really really really miss these guys recently. I'm actually more of a V.I.P than an Incle and right now I should be viewing Big Bang's video as many times as I can, but I still spend some time everyday for Winner, just so our boys know people are still rooting for them. I truly hope that papa Yang is planning a comeback for Winner right after Big Bang's full album MADE.

Yeah me too. I choose color ring better than empty. This is winner's style. Their lyrics have deep meaning. Their music is kinda slow but going lil upbeat in the middle and at the end, it feels like hanging, like we need more (if u get what i mean).
when kpop was all about cute girls cute guys and sweet, innocent songs YG debut BB and 2NE1 with hip hop, upbeat, elec songs. Now when kpop is finally catching up they debut Winner with heartfelt, lyrical, smooth ballad songs. Just like back then with BB and 2NE1, haters gonna hate, but sooner or later they're gonna realize a new trend has arrived. That's YG baby!!!
I'm happier than I've felt in forever... Win: who is next show got me through school I went through some hard times... (Bobby's always being happy, etc) but even though I can't speak or really understand korean I love it and I believe winner will help me through the school this year. One strong point of Winner is they are all talented musicians. They write and compose, which other debutant boy groups can claim that? Contrary to popular opinions of their title songs being mellow and boring, Im actually glad they did the classy approach. It's different and refreshing. So many people miss this era of WINNER, I mean, the ballad era. Like empty,babybaby, or even color ring. But for me their new era (since really really) is way better. Because I don't know why, WINNER is really good at bringing ballad vibes so if they're singing a sad song, it will be so hurt to hear. Like I think "do they really feel this pain?" But when hear WINNER sing happy or beat song, it's really fun to hear them.

It just came to me. When Taehyun was still with Winner, they did ballad and indie songs (which I really love) but when he left they totally changed their style. Maybe Taehyun felt that their music wasn't in the same direction. Maybe he felt that right from the start his style was different from yg. That's why they were different unlike other Yg artists who leaned more on the hip-hop style. It pains me to see Winner as 4 and I'll never look at them the same again. But right now I love Winner and Nam Taehyun just as they are and I both love their styles of music. I fully support both of them. Winner and Nam Taehyun, fighting!

If you watch WIN YG sajangnim actually really like NamTae's style, he even got his own solo. I'd say it's the general who were complaining about Winner debut songs but me as a fan since Team A I really love it. Then YG sajangnim asked Seungyoon to stop using his guitar, he started writing more upbeat title songs and was well received. As Inseo I still love those too but mainly the whole album is better because from there I can find the old feel that I love.

If you have watched literally anything about WINNER you would have known they weren't going to be all crazy uptempo hiphop #swag lol. Which is why they won in the first place, because they are doing something different. I wish that everyone could love this debut as much as I do. But if a slow tempo ballad wasn't what you expected or wanted to begin with, you probably won't be able to appreciate how beautiful these two songs are. Honestly though, I'll probably be giving these two videos enough views to make up for all those people.
This is the kind of music I live for. Yeah, an uptempo party song with a catchy hook may last you a summer or a year but then you'll forget about it and move on to the next song that's exactly like it. But I search for songs like this when a group comes out with a new album, and it's songs like this (touching, beautiful, lovely singing, and emotional rapping) that I keep coming back to and constantly listen to for years and never get tired of them. So congratulations on your debut WINNER! This album was even better than I thought it was going to be.

Katherine Darnell I feel like that was a backhanded complement. I thought this video was very well shot and had great emotional acting (especially for a MV). Taehyun's crying in the bathtub seemed very real to me. I don't think WINNER will be successful just because they are a part of YG... they will be successful because they are talented artists who work very hard. Just because a group is a part of a big company does not mean automatic success. Yes, maybe it means they will have a better chance at it because they will receive more promotion. But if the group sucks they suck and a sucky group isn't going to be successful no matter what company they're in.

I went to a korean shop here in my country and dang it! The songs they are playing are all WINNER and BIGBANG songs! And it made me so happy because there are lots of korean groups out there but they chose WINNER and BIGBANG songs to be played as background music on their newly-opened store :D

a debut most of the time isn't meant to be a hugely popular track but rather setting the tone for the artist/group and gives an impression to the audience
in the case of winner, its to strike a difference from bigbang, and set themselves as a sleek,young,model-like group who writes music that expresses their own emotions and thoughts
the title tracks fit perfectly for their debut image, and this would eventually develop into big hits as they continue on their career

Decided to listen this song after the drama on twitter over empty. Sometimes it hurts me how some people said WINNER's debut popularity solely because empty was co-composed by B.I when actually the way WINNER sang, performed and carried the song also played a role in their success. I still resent YG for making the decision to debuted WINNER with empty when WINNER and the staffs prefered different.
Yup. Those ikonic are so annoying. Empty was a good song but it will flop if not for winner's vocal line. And arguably different is a better song and a statement too, winner is different from your another boy group, instead they debuted with a song which describe how the loser team felt after they lost the showdown with winner.

If you read the lyrics is more like about depression and mental health. And that would have been more successful had team B released it at the time.
yes.. i was concern abt their feelings more cause during win especially the last stage during the final battle, mr. Yang praised their ability to make music and said that when they debut all the track could be made solely by themselves (cause u know its suuuper normal that alot of idols got song MADE for them) and i guess alot of team b's fan got mad or smthng especially knowing that song was made by B.I during the his lowest point. And in Winner TV when mr Yang evaluate the songs that they submitted, only Taehyun's songs got positive feedback (thats why we have ibam (Tonight) and one more i forgot) and he told them about seeing B.I stayed in the studio until 3 a.m. and decided to spent the night there.
It's hard when u put 2 talented boybands with their own charms and style (although both of them is YG style i would say) in a freaking popular survival show (win) when the winner gets to debut first, of course they'll got compared alot :((

Some say they're disappointed because now is summer, and the trend in summer is dance, hiphop songs. Slow and sad songs will kill their debut. I don't think so. They must be different to be outstanding. In the past, Big Bang became famous because they were different. They sang hiphop songs while other singers focused on ballad and pop songs. Now Winner do the same thing. They're trying to be different and also show their unique colors. Actually if they followed hiphop and dance trend I would be disappointed because I don't wanna see them as a normal idol group or as a copy of Big Bang. They're always different, from the first time i saw them in WIN till now. Good job my boys
but this summer is so moody already with infinite's back, Girl's Day Darling, Secret's I'm in love.. it's all so slow stuffs. A sad summer I would say

thats only a few- look at GOT7- A, BTS hardcore hip hop, Infinite- Last Romeo, B1A4- Solo Day, and more :) those are very upbeat and summery. there will always be slow ballad-y songs, but to make a group with that as their main skill is more uncommon.

So It's just that annoying to see people pointing out that they're disappointed and such. Winner is for the people who appreciates them and to those who see how good they are. Winner is not for ungrateful, discontented and hateful people who complains everytime.

It's funny to me that so many fans are surprised their songs aren't hardcore hiphop. WINNER was never a hiphop group, honestly. Even before they won Who Is Next, the other YG artists were speculating that they would probably be YG's first ballad group. Personally, I love that their style is different from previous YG groups we've seen. Even though the company is known for their hiphop, WINNER is going with their own strengths and their own style, which is a great move. So good job YG and WINNER for sticking to their guns!
Artists like AkMu and LeeHi arent even Hiphop. I feel like some people expected them to be BigBang 2.0 since they are the next boy group after them but Winner has their own color and they are a very unique group.

I'm re watching all videos of my Winner babies and realized the reason why I came to love and adore this group. It's because their genre is different. You know how much YG's into hiphop and upbeat songs right?. And this group made a different one. I was expecting that they will debut with hiphop and upbeat song but they didn't. They came up with a very smooth melo-dramatic song which I totally fell in love with. In my own opinion (MY OWN) WINNER members are perfectly grouped. Each of them have a role in the group plus they are so kindhearted. This group is so classy. Now, I'm getting really excited for their comeback (I hope soon). I really missed them. WINNER fighting!

For those who said they are dissapointed with WINNER genre or debut song, sorry if their colour cant match with your taste. For me this is one of the best thing that they can offered to us at the moment. Think it wisely this only a debut song. They still and will have a lot of thing to treasure in the future. Give them some chances. But i have no problem with their colour actually. I love them and i knew this kind of genre is really suit them. I know a lot of people have so much and high expectation on them because they came from YGE (which is famous and more to hip hop genre) and we have waiting for so long to see they debut but always remember that YG not a typical company which is they will debut a group if he see something different about them. You know you will be bored if you have been feed with a same damn thing over and over again. Im proud that this boys are different from a lot of kpop group out there.
