Dont call me oppa that is why I keep telling new ic to watch their older videos cause their music is timeless. it ain't going stale ever. In all honesty, "really really " sounds like a debut song in comparison to masterpieces like empty, pricked, baby baby and color ring. I think they messed up the order of releasing the songs.

yg is taking over kpop. they are the best at packaging their artists and giving them unique identities. they know the whole street hip-hop style is already played out among the boy groups so they went on a completely different route with the high fashion vibe. with the talent they have and the musical freedom that yg gives them, it's safe to say that these groups coming out of yg are simply on another level.

Before watching their MV's, I listened to their whole album and I just gotta say it's *FLAWLESS*. I've been hearing a lot of complaints but I actually like their title tracks, especially this one even though I'm not much of a ballad type of person. It's also a bit refreshing since a lot of groups tend to debut with either a hardcore or cutesy concept :)
It's a very well produced album, with distinctive songs and arrangements. In terms of musicality, I think it's much more interesting than the "right off the factory assembly line" sound of most idol groups. I also agree that it's a refreshing change of pace and departure from the standard idol group template. As for hearing a "lot of complaints," I've pretty much found that no matter how good a singer or group is, there is a.l.w.a.y.s going to be a bunch of complainers. No one singer or group is going to please everyone. Based on the chart performance and views, however, it looks to me like Winner is off to a really good start. As for complainers, it's always useful to keep in mind that some of them are just bitter fans of "rival" groups and are straining their brains to come up with negative things to say (mistakenly thinking that they help their bias groups that way). Some are just perpetual complainers, who like putting themselves in the judge's chair in order to momentarily feel bigger than the musicians they're judging. Some are idol-group junkies who aren't looking for anything really new. They just want to re-live basically the same idol-group experience over and over again with only minor changes in costuming and faces.
this is purely my IC thoughts. there is something in winner's music that far more mature than other artist even since debut, compare to their juniors' debut in yg. like, each yg artists has their own music and performance style but winner got this deep passion. it is so sad that people sleep on their talent

WINNER are Kings to me because they are Artists write and compose all their music, fashion icons, models, reality tv stars, actors. YOON is respected for his vocals by old legendary singers, 6 straight wins on king of the mask singer the only idol to do that. MINO respected in the Korean hip hop community came 2nd on show me the money. Korean hip hop community don’t usually see idols as good rappers and have prejudice but MINO and only a few idols are respected. MINO been in Paris for Louis Vuitton runway first idol to do that, his artwork been in London SAATCHI gallery. Winner are kings
I became a inseo a week or more than that and I have been going to a winner spree since then and tbh I regret not stanning them before when they were very active. They are literally one of the best kpop artists out there but due to their company and no promotions they aren't very famous internationally.
To be honest.. i like this debut the most.. aside from the uniqueness of it..being the rookie group who debuted with such amazing melo song... it's soo soothing for the ears.. and the pro-like mv and song.. it feels like this group had already debuted before and made a wonderful comeback today.. The greatness of WINNER lays in the fact they're capable of doing more than one genre of music because they're 5 boys with 5 completely different styles and this can bring to two things: a group splitting because of too different personalities, or a stronger group capable of merging their styles into one. During WIN there were days when you could feel the struggle of these 5 boys to find what they had in common, there were days when they themselves thought they were gonna split, but then they found their balance and this is the result. To the people saying these two songs are too similar to each other and too slow for a debut I say: go listen to their full album now, you'll be surprised by the variety of genres. Sure, they're not an hip hop group like someone would expect from YG. But BIGBANG themselves is not doing really hip hop songs like they did when they debuted (I'm thinking about hits such as Monster, Love Song, Blue etc which aren't hip hop). Is AKMU hip hop? No. So why did you expect an hip hop group? Because this is YG next boy group? Well I'm telling you now: stop trying to find similarities with BIGBANG, because there are none. WINNER is WINNER and that's the good thing. If they really were to be like BIGBANG I bet you would be all here complaining anyway. But this is not the case. First, it would be dumb of YG to try to come up with another BIGBANG because everyone knows no one can be like them. Secondly, I feel like YG wants to expand itself as a company, and I'm not talking about the fact they're more and more into the drama/movies business or things like that, I think everyone can see they want to expand even in the music field by doing a diversified variety of genres. OMGOMGOMG THIS TOTALLY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. You can't believe how happy i am that Winner debuted with this song. It perfectly showcases both their singing and rapping skills, and the mv is JUST.SO.BEAUTIFUL. I'm glad that Winner decided to this style as their debut song, and not the hip hop/reggae/electronic style that MOST (not all) YG artist use as their title track. using this for a debut... is just... wow.

Winner, Big Bang, GOT7 and any other groups shouldn't be compared to each other. They have their different styles, and Winner is very distinct to be compared. Same as with other groups. yg is taking over kpop. they are the best at packaging their artists and giving them unique identities. they know the whole street hip-hop style is already played out among the boy groups so they went on a completely different route with the high fashion vibe. with the talent they have and the musical freedom that yg gives them, it's safe to say that these groups coming out of yg are simply on another level.
What's great about YG is they let their artist get involve with creating their songs and expand their creativity. :)

Before watching their MV's, I listened to their whole album and I just gotta say it's *FLAWLESS*. I've been hearing a lot of complaints but I actually like their title tracks, especially this one even though I'm not much of a ballad type of person. It's also a bit refreshing since a lot of groups tend to debut with either a hardcore or cutesy concept :)

It's a very well produced album, with distinctive songs and arrangements. In terms of musicality, I think it's much more interesting than the "right off the factory assembly line" sound of most idol groups. I also agree that it's a refreshing change of pace and departure from the standard idol group template. As for hearing a "lot of complaints," I've pretty much found that no matter how good a singer or group is, there is a.l.w.a.y.s going to be a bunch of complainers. No one singer or group is going to please everyone. Based on the chart performance and views, however, it looks to me like Winner is off to a really good start.
As for complainers, it's always useful to keep in mind that some of them are just bitter fans of "rival" groups and are straining their brains to come up with negative things to say (mistakenly thinking that they help their bias groups that way). Some are just perpetual complainers, who like putting themselves in the judge's chair in order to momentarily feel bigger than the musicians they're judging. Some are idol-group junkies who aren't looking for anything really new. They just want to re-live basically the same idol-group experience over and over again with only minor changes in costuming and faces.

I actually love all the songs in their album and I honestly don't mind that their title tracks aren't upbeat, these suit Winner better and they're all still really good songs. This style and concept is actually pretty unique for a boy band.

WINNER are Kings to me because they are Artists write and compose all their music, fashion icons, models, reality tv stars, actors. YOON is respected for his vocals by old legendary singers, 6 straight wins on king of the mask singer the only idol to do that. MINO respected in the Korean hip hop community came 2nd on show me the money. Korean hip hop community don’t usually see idols as good rappers and have prejudice but MINO and only a few idols are respected. MINO been in Paris for Louis Vuitton runway first idol to do that, his artwork been in London SAATCHI gallery. Winner are kings
I became a inseo a week or more than that and I have been going to a winner spree since then and tbh I regret not stanning them before when they were very active. They are literally one of the best kpop artists out there but due to their company and no promotions they aren't very famous internationally.
To be honest.. i like this debut the most.. aside from the uniqueness of it..being the rookie group who debuted with such amazing melo song... it's soo soothing for the ears.. and the pro-like mv and song.. it feels like this group had already debuted before and made a wonderful comeback today..

The greatness of WINNER lays in the fact they're capable of doing more than one genre of music because they're 5 boys with 5 completely different styles and this can bring to two things: a group splitting because of too different personalities, or a stronger group capable of merging their styles into one. During WIN there were days when you could feel the struggle of these 5 boys to find what they had in common, there were days when they themselves thought they were gonna split, but then they found their balance and this is the result. To the people saying these two songs are too similar to each other and too slow for a debut I say: go listen to their full album now, you'll be surprised by the variety of genres.
Sure, they're not an hip hop group like someone would expect from YG. But BIGBANG themselves is not doing really hip hop songs like they did when they debuted (I'm thinking about hits such as Monster, Love Song, Blue etc which aren't hip hop). Is AKMU hip hop? No. So why did you expect an hip hop group? Because this is YG next boy group? Well I'm telling you now: stop trying to find similarities with BIGBANG, because there are none. WINNER is WINNER and that's the good thing. If they really were to be like BIGBANG I bet you would be all here complaining anyway. But this is not the case. First, it would be dumb of YG to try to come up with another BIGBANG because everyone knows no one can be like them. Secondly, I feel like YG wants to expand itself as a company, and I'm not talking about the fact they're more and more into the drama/movies business or things like that, I think everyone can see they want to expand even in the music field by doing a diversified variety of genres. And this is actually a really good thing because I don't see why a music company should focus on only one genre of music. The only ones still bragging about how YG is only hip hop are the people commenting under these videos. And to these people I would like to say: no one forces you to be a WINNER fans if they're not "YG enough" for you, but I can 100% assure you you're gonna regret not stanning them later in time because these boys are gonna do great. Come on, a rookie group that self-writes and composes their own debut album, which happens to be a FULL album and not even a mini-album? Who else managed to do such a thing? And did you listen to it? It doesn't even sound like the average kpop album. Hell, it doesn't sound kpop at all. If there are people out there, people who knows how this business works, that are saying winner album sounds like an album made by pros, who are you to say "no" to them without even listening to it? Give it a try, you won't regret a thing.

It perfectly showcases both their singing and rapping skills, and the mv is JUST.SO.BEAUTIFUL. I'm glad that Winner decided to this style as their debut song, and not the hip hop/reggae/electronic style that MOST (not all) YG artist use as their title track. using this for a debut... is just... wow.

Winner, Big Bang, GOT7 and any other groups shouldn't be compared to each other. They have their different styles, and Winner is very distinct to be compared. Same as with other groups. Let's avoid posting insensitive comments. If you need to put down literally every single other group just to compliment yours, they really might not be that talented or praiseworthy.
I believe got7 is super generic, can't tell the difference between 7 of them, they literally have the exact same vocal tone, even the rappers.
I thought waiting is worth it. What happen to OT5? What is WINNER without Nam? 2NE1 disbanded. I guess I should've stop before. I left kpop before but I keep coming back knowing this is worth it.
