Beautiful sunset. Loved the ride and the countryside. Always nice to see where others live and work. And it’s hard not to like an old truck still doing it’s thing.
Yep, good ole engines! I would like to run twin stacks on her, but it would be a nightmare to move the battery box, power steering reservoir and a whole bunch other stuff to make it fit.
Really nice looking cab over and a tough sounding ole girl to boot. Got your self a gem there youngster. Not much room on the road for anything but you.😏😉😁😆 one of the unrecognized cost most people don’t think of is the transport of equipment from job to job, sounds like you try to help that out by running your jobs in close proximity to each other when ever it can be done.
DIRT DADDY 😎 NICE moving the KOBELCO 🌟 SK 210LC-9🌟😎 😁 😁 road trip was good and now we know the international has nitrous too 😜 anyway 😜 Nice we have a drainage project 🚧 upcoming I'm looking forward to that one 😁 keep up the Great work and Thank U DIRT DADDY 😎 for the Great video 🙏 👍

I like those o cabover semis & they were common & popular here in the USA back in the 1980s & down. Those generation International cabover semis replaced the Transtar models back in the early 1980s & later in the late 1990s, International cabover semis became obsolete here in the USA but they still produced them in other continents overseas up through 2015 or so.
Yep, grew up with them and they used to be all over the place in the 70’s and 80’s. You are correct on the 9670 replacing the Transstars. Mine is a 1987 in a few years after that they changed the body style agin. Good ole trucks!
@@Dirtdaddy953 also there is good news & bad news about cabovers, the bad is they don't have good enough protection between the driver & whatever is coming at him in front, the good is they're easier maneuver in than conventional cabs because they have a shorter wheel base & don't have the nose in front of the cab to get in the way of anything.
Lol! Yep, you’re the first one to find out if you’re gonna hit something! One of the reasons I like it is the maneuverability getting in to tight places.
@@Dirtdaddy953 one semi mechanic told me a story when he jacked up the cab on a cabover to get to the motor & work on it, a lose fire extinguisher inside the cab hit & damaged the windshield & it scared the shit out of him, the driver forgot to take it out before letting the mechanic work on the semi.
@@Dirtdaddy953 I bet back in the day when cabovers were common, a lot of the drivers would forget to take their lose stuff out of the cab before the mechanics work on them. Lol
In the mid to late 80s we used a Cab Over Frieghtliner pulling a 35 ton Rogers non ground bearing detachable cowboys. It worked well for us. Used to haul a Mitsubishi MS 180 and a Hitachi EX 200. Excavators.
Im fortunate enough not to have to travel very far. I probably dont go any farther than a 50 mile radius from home. Thanks, yeah it was a little different video and got to listen to the kitty cat purrr!!
I have a 1988 9670 with a Big Cam in her and I love the truck! Actually rides pretty good for an ole cab over! Thanks for sharing the content brother and just have 1 question for ya, how many miles are on your truck?
@@Dirtdaddy953 same I’m sitting right at 723k and she still sounds and feels like she has a lot more left in her! Love the content man and be safe out there!
Glad you won that job! (Guessing it was via BID anyway!) How far from your base is this job anyway? Sure a lot of prep in order to begin working. You and all like you certainly 'earn' what you're paid and hopefully that $$$ doesn't have to go to repairs. Yeah you can make some money but it takes lots in order to do so. Thank you for another video! Sonny
Lol, normally I would agree. But, have to pull a bunch of trees and fix a bad eroding area around a wet weather creek. Also, have to work on a county road box culvert in the same area.
Nice Set-Up 💪🏼
Thanks brother!

AWESOME LOVE WHEN YOU SHOW OFF THE CABOVER LOVE THAT RIG DRIV'AH 👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful country, always great content.
Yes it is and Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!!
Awesome truck 👍
Thanks! Kinda proud or her!
Listening to this made me miss my old truck that got wrecked. It had a b model with a 15 speed that thing would pull! I plan to fix it someday

@@Dirtdaddy953 yea I bet. That's a lot of work it is straight piped though
Right?

Thank Terry! Yeah, I try to work on the logistics as much as possible.
Cool ol truck you got there Larry, don’t see many of them still on the road anymore, beautiful country in Missouri
Thanks! Not many of them still around. Yes, beautiful country around here!

👍👍👍
Thank ya!

Thanks sonny! About 18 miles from home base. If you have yellow iron, you’re never rich!
In the United Kingdom we run 99% what you call cabovers not many bonneted truck here.
Yeah, I see a lot of Cabovers in your area watching various videos from the UK. In the 70’s and early 80’s there were a lot here as well.
Moving the 210. Is that not over height on the trailer?
No, 13’ 7” on the trailer.
A good cabover is hard to find around here. Back when they were cheap damn near every farmer and logger were buying them.
Yeah, you can’t find one here as well! Very sought after nowadays!
Big machine just to do a ditch with?

What's the wheel base on that?
I can’t remember what the truck wheel base is. I have it written down along with all the bridge measurements.
