    Honestly you can see,how even Sah is scared of Suleiman wrath,and how much Suleiman wants to kill Lutfi. But because of her daughter,and whole life together, and lets be honest..she lived with him. She knows deep down he is not cruel man. He never insulted her and respected her space till that dark moment, she asked for his merci. This is difference between Hurrem and Sah. Hurrem is so impulsive and doesnt think twice about concequences. But Sah had mourned,cried,calmed herself down, thought about her daughter and her husband of 20 yrs. Im sure they had nice momments in the youth. And she didnt want to do something reckles that she will cary on her heart forever. Truly,one of the best sultanas ever. After that insult,and that punches, she found way to forgive and move on. She is THE REAL SULTANA. THE WISEST OF THEM ALL. SHAH SULTANA EVERYONE 💓💓🤌🏼

    I cannot for the life of me understand why Esmahan would beg for her father's life after what he did. Not just to that poor woman, but to her own mother. What makes her think she wouldn't be the next victim if she did something he didn't like?
    If it was my father who tortured someone and dared to harm my mother, you can bet I'm cutting him out of my life for good.

    • @Belle_isle899
      @Belle_isle899 2 года назад +52

      Since Esmahan begged her father's life, she clearly loves her father and the mere fact that she decided to do this implies that they have a close relationship. Even if Esmahan did do something he didn't like, I highly doubt he would harm her since one, she is part of royal family and he wouldn't escape execution twice, and two, Esmahan is his daughter. His relationship with his daughter might be very different than his relationship with his wife, Sah Sultana.
      Yes, her father did terrible things but I don't think that stopped Esmahan from still loving her father, if her begging for her father's life was anything to go by.

    • @sibghasadia
      @sibghasadia 2 года назад +1

      @@Midwest.. If you have a close look at Ottoman Empire history you'll get the point. In Suleiman's era the state was at its peak, in every aspect (army, expeditions, art, architecture, science, conquests etc). Suleiman's successor was Selim II who was known as "Selim The Drunk". He never led the army in the battlefield nor he himself fought in any battle when he was Sultan.
      Same went on for Selim's successor Murad III (Selim and Nurbanu son). Murad's son Mehmed III was this much afraid that he even offered prayers in the Palace. He didn't go to the Masjid fearing he would be assassinated.
      Mehmed III successor (son) was Ahmad I. He took the throne at the age of 11. Despite his father and grandfather he tried to control the state. But he wasn't that much experienced. Also Ahmad I died at a very young age. According to some historians Kösem poisoned Sultan Ahmed I. After Ahmad, his brother Mustafa became Sultan for almost 9 months.
      Ahmad I had at least 8 sons. Three of them became Sultan. Sultan Osman II, Murad IV, Ibrahim I.
      After Mustafa, Ahmad I older son Osman II took the throne. He was also very young. He tried to establish a new army order. But the rebellion broke out against Osman II and Yenişehir army Murdered Osman II.
      After Osman II, Murad IV took the throne at the age of 11. He was the eye witness what happened to his older brother Osman. He feared that he might end like his brother. The first 10 years of his reign his mother (Kösem) ruled was Sultanate regent and ruled through Murad. After that Murad ended his mother's regency and took the sole control of the state. This caused the dispute between the mother and the son. Murad IV enforced restrictions. He brought the state back to golden period. He is known as the most cruel Ottoman Sultan. Yet he is the bravest Ottoman Sultan. He led the army in battlefield, fought in the front lines, captured Baghdad. After Suleiman, Murad IV is the only Sultan who went to a war and returned victorious. That's why Murad IV is known as "The conqueror". He also died at young age 28. It is claimed that Kösem also murdered Sultan Murad IV as he was becoming more and more powerful.
      After Murad the next Sultan was Ibrahim I. Kösem again became the Sultanate regent and ruled through Ibrahim. Kösem and Ibrahim ruined Murad's efforts. After that the Ottoman Empire never arose rather every Sultan tried to keep the sovereignty of the State. No new conquests were made. In 1800's the Ottoman Empire was known as "The sick man of Europe". At the end the Empire was dissolved in 1922 completely.

    Shah doesn't care for anyone but herself, I bet she spared lutfi just for her own dignity so she doesn't become like hatice, a widow. Not her nephews, not her niece, not even her daughter, only herself.

      @@ravensjewel-3886 Shah wasn't advisor to Suleiman, that was hurrem sultan.
      Suleiman made a room for hurrem sultan so she can hear divan meetings and later advise him, in series we see Suleiman being mad but in reality it was him who made the room for hurrem sultan.
      Shah Huban wasn't allowed to enter harem, but she was allowed to visit the palace whenever hurrem sultan approved it. The two and Suleiman had a great relationship, hurrem sultan's closest friend was Shah Huban. Shah Huban was always by Hurrem sultan side. Out of all sisters, it was hatice who was closest to Suleiman and second Shah Huban. When hatice died, it was Shah Huban closer.
