the city has to do what the city has to do ! now check them ( encampment folks ) each time they go in and the contents with them must have PROOF of OWNERSHIP . Peterborough did the fence and it was a free for all intake compound and rightful owners could not recover stolen items even if they had proof they owned it. The law stated that the homeless bought it from someone else and that they did not steal !
That's how they got my bike here... They also spraypainted it right after so the bike I reported stolen didn't match the new description 🥴 I don't even try to register my bike with police anymore. It's not worth it, when a can of spray paint can undo all of the precaution

🤞Thanks Pete - for keeping the community informed.
Good put a wall too. Grade school kids going to Tim Hortons watching two guys pissing on the grass.
Are people in the community still allowed to walk around the park, so they can retrieve stolen bikes and patio furniture?
K struggled my whole life and worked 3 jobs...and was a single mother...nothing comes easy

What is the rationale for this?? Just don't get it ... and who is paying for it? Thanks Pete for all of your hard work!

Are the Police going to Deliver Tim Hortons to them like the Police did in Toronto?
no no they just deliver free needles and crack pipes and meth pipes for free charged to the tax payer. in the guise of harm reduction.
That sign at the beginning is stupid. Just because there's a fence going up, it doesn't mean people are LOCKED in or anything.
They will have ladders going over at random access points in no time.
Quite the opposite hopefully.
They need a fence...otherwise the whole town will be a mess
Is it mandatory for every cop in Ontario to have full sleeve arm tattoos? Even the chicks have them!
yeah you'd think they would hire more respectful looking people who don't look like fuckin thugs all tatted up.
Oh look is that Jenni France 😂😂
Doesn’t she have a court date coming up?😂
