I believe Halle Berry trained around a year training with guns. And 6 months living and training with the dogs. There's videos on RUclips of her going through a shooting range course with Keanu.

Halle learned and trained with the dogs as their handler. All of the commands and moves that they did, she trained with them to follow her commands. The detail work they do for these movies is brilliant
I saw a behind the scenes abpout her and the dogs and apparently unless you were the handlers or Halle you couldn't touch the dogs or anything like a service dog but even when they weren't filming. I guess cause they are trained you kno with the action it was like a safety issue. Not regular dogs but told how to act around her dogs. Im butchering it but was a cool video. And one actor was like not fair! (jokenly) she gets to work with em

Fun Fact: Halle Berry was actually one of the people who trained the dogs, to make it easier for them to obey her during shooting. So, when she screams a command, its actually her giving it, and the dog obeying.

That's awesome! I love when actors dedicate themselves to the reality like that, and the dogs were so cool. I also wonder if she got to keep them :D

If you rewatch the scene, they show Boban before he meets up with Keanu upstairs. As Wick is running up to the Librarian, Ernest is sitting at one of the tables to the right of the screen and he is watches Wick as he is running by.

I’ve learn something about johns hand to hand combat from watching this movie. He’s not the best striker. He got heavily out-striked by the ninjas. But the second he gets any grip on you, the fight is over. He’s completely out grappled everyone in these films, and it’s the entire reason he beat the two ninjas right before he fights the main boss ninja.
it's because keanu is an old man now and can't really pull off the crazy martial arts like mark dacascos(bald ninja boss) can
you can really see how much his movement is stiff and limited compared to the 'ninjas'
so he's like khabib nurmagomedov from ufc..... and boss ninja lol

@@MultiWhatever007 Considering Mark is about 8 months older than Keanu, I'd say it's more that Mark has been doing martial arts since he was a kid, and Keanu hasn't. Mixed a slight bit, maybe, with just different fight styles.

There's so many incredible set pieces in this film, it's easy to forget how many there are by the time it's done, but I think the knife throwing fight is my favorite in the whole franchise.

Late to the party here, but to be fair, the 'elite' of the high table wasn't all that elite, just well armored. They were more bullet sponges than actually dangerous to someone like a John Wick...

Between the first two movies, imagine how many times he had been stabbed, shot, cut , hit, run over, etc. He did all of this in chapter 3 with all injuries from the first two movies. He has had no time to recover between movies

@@syreetapaul2218 Dude this ain't a video game. 😂 Putting a patch doesn't heal you. All these took place within about 3 weeks. He had gun wounds which went through. Multiple stab and cut wounds. And God knows how many bruises and fractures. Any one of those things would take 2-3 weeks or more to heal with proper care. And his wounds keep reopening. The man hasn't had proper sleep for days. Has been in constant state of extreme physical activity for days. I don't think he has had proper food either.
If you guys haven't seen them, you gotta react to the Raid movies. Not just great action, but great camera work.

I was watching cinema wins and they mentioned something about the red and blue colour scheme throughout the movies. Blue being good for john, red being bad.
It represents john wicks future. So in that first scene with john running through the street with the red and blue lights flashing and mixing together, it’s referring to how his future is uncertain.

Halle Berry is so perfect in this movie. Semi-short appearance and leaves a huge impression just as her character was intended to be. Just perfect
Fun Fact: None of the glass in the knife room scene was actually there. It was all added in with vfx.
They confirmed they have material for at least 5 movies, probably more. So happy Keanu got big again thanks to this series.

The fight scenes in this movie made me feel a way I haven't felt since childhood. I didn't realise how ready for Halle berry and 2 attack dogs I was
John Wick 4: Neo and Morpheus's revenge.
I love all 3...the choreography is awesome...especially knowing that Keanu, and Halle, know how to do all of that. I have also heard, there are at least 2 more.

@@yournan7249 a super awesome Indonesian Martial Arts Film that everyone who calls himself an Action Cinema fan should watch. Two of the actors are even in John Wick 3 (the Ninja Henchmen who face John in the Glass house)

Notice the name is "Prepare for War". The ending, combined with the players suffering the fates they do, align to mean that John now has an army and is prepared for war for Part 4.

This movie is accidentally a perfect DC Universe movie.
John Wick Parabellum = Deathstroke vs The League of Assassins
Setting: In a world where Batman has fallen and the world has been overtaken by The League of Assassins. Now every villain controls the world and all work under The League.
John Wick = Deathstroke - The world's greatest assassin who loves his family and wishes to get out of the life but believes he can't. Fantastic with any thing as a weapon.
Winston + Charon = Billy Wintergreen - The aged partner of the main character, knowledgeable in weapons and still a formidable foe for anyone who crosses him, but doesn't get his hands dirty much anymore.
Bowery King = Killer Croc - a man who runs a gang but through an underground and dirty system. Someone who takes pride in who he is even though others find him disgusting.
The Elder = Ra's Al Ghul - a feared and mysterious man who runs a league of assassins who do as he commands.
The Adjudicator = Talia Al Ghul - a higher up in the league of assassins, mysterious, commanding, fearless.
Zero = Damian Wayne (Heretic) - Excellent with a blade, a bit reckless, obsessed with the main character and oftenly compared to being the same as the protagonist.
Sofia and her Dogs = Harley Quinn and her Hyenas - Obsessed with their pets, good with guns, has become powerful figures after being freed from their original leaders.
Tick Tock Man = Mad Hatter - Talks about time and is insane.
Ernest = Bane (no Venom) - tall, extremely strong foe who is fine with bending or even breaking the rules. Decent with a knife.
The Director = Adeline Kane - had a strong former relationship with the main character, seems to still hold on to those feelings but is very reluctant. The one who trained the main character.
Doctor = Dr. Ikon - will help the main character even though it goes against everything, the good person in a world of villains.
Berrada = Joker - former leader of girl with two dogs, laughs at pain. (I really didn't know who Berrada could be so this one is really far fetched.
Everyone sent by The Elder and Adjudicator = The League of Assassins - nameless goons, uses guns and swords, formidable but not great.
Buddy no issues but I think you exchanged Damian Wayne with Deathstroke.
Damian is more like the John Wick of DC :
He loves dogs and other animals
He was trained to be the king of assassins
He beat the shit out of Batman after beating Deathstroke
He was raised by the League of Assassins and beats Deathstroke about 90% of the time they fight.
Dude even Deathstroke respects Damian more than his father.

Their second most recent fight ended with Batman having a sword in his gut and having to get carried by Deathstroke to help.
You’ve got it twisted. Batman isn’t the one holding back when fighting Deathstroke. Deathstroke is. Deathstroke chooses not to kill Batman. Anytime Deathstroke has lost against Batman he was either severely weakened or it was part of his plan.

I love the use of the cast from The Raid. Properly used instead of the waste that was Kanjiklub.
This is a year late but "Ernest" is actually an NBA player who currently plays for Dallas Mavericks.
He's also the most gentle, adorable giant to play in today's game.
That one kill where he hits the horse and the horse kicks the guys Is my favourite death of this series so far .. so creative and brutal

Fun fact: The Adjudicator is non-binary, and never gendered throughout the entire film, referred to only by their title, and is played by NB actor Asia Kate Dillon.
While reading the script Dillon noted that the introduction of this new character provided a chance to get creative. They brought the idea up to the director and to Reeves, and both agreed.
This, the Adjudicator is non-binary, not female ^_^

I like that the Continental is lit green in homage to the Matrix and she shooting under water shows the path of the bullets just like the Matrix .
I wonder if in John Wick 4, they’ll bring back Cassian, Ares, Sophie to help John and the Bowery King take on the High Table.

Ares is definitely dead, Cassian... Maybe, but it's unlikely he doesn't still blame John for Gianna's death even though it was Santino's fault. Sophie is only helping him because even excommunicado, she can't disobey a marker.

All John Wick movies are the better
So, what's really funny is the final guy John fights is Mark Dacascos, he rose to...semi-moderate fame in the ~90's doing relatively mid-range budget martial arts films (though he was in Cradle to the Grave with Jet Li) The funny part is, though, he was also the Chairman in Iron Chef America.
Another thing I noticed, the two guys he fought just before Dacascos at the end of the movie, one was the ultimate badass killer from The Raid, and he also played the family killer guy, the one the son betrays to Bejo, from the Raid 2. The other dude, was the ultimate badass from the kitchen knife fight scene near the end of the Raid 2 (After hammer girl and baseball bat guy).
John wick's hand to hand combat skills improved tremendously from chapter 1 to 3
