One of, if not, the best video I have seen so far on explaining how the basics of football are actually incredibly useful in playing EAFC. I think using basic footballing techniques is an incredibly underrated part of EAFC and something that more and more people should be looking at when they play. the best video i've ever watched on fifa, even as a big football fan who is very into the tactical side of the game and would even considered myself a decent tactiction, i get affected by tunnel vision way too much, this video has inspired me to play more free flowing and not be so direct, to anyone who sees this, realise even if you're in a great position with a player, you can always create better situations based on your strengths. the hardest thing is finding the perfect formation/tactics, once you find a formation you like using and the tactics and instructions you play best with, watch this video again and keep it in your head to not get tunnel visioned enjoy the game enjoy having the ball and creating and breaking your opponent down, in this game you can be 3/4 down and still win. also as well if you are actually having fun and enjoying the way you play the game results in your performance will come naturally and loses won't make you rage, enjoy the game guys. Update - I went from struggling in division 6 and now nearly in division 3 and i have to thank you fads for opening my eyes
In this sea of videos focused on the meta that force you to do those same two boring and buggy actions, you manage to make football emerge from this video game and bring back the desire to play and spend time on it. Thank you

I am new to ⚽️ in general let alone Fifa/EAFC. My problem is less with the mechanics but understanding the fundamentals of the game and strategy. I've been finding that advice about the actual sport and not just EAFC meta helps me much more than just meta advice and BIS players.

Tried using this in div 4, had absolutely no space to pass, lost 2 games by 3 goals and had majority possession. The gameplay in the video shows having much more space than what I actually experienced when playing the game.

@@anderssonfernandez1428 You need to outperform your adversaries tactically, like the guy in the video did. Formation, Custom Tactics, Player's Instructions, Player's work rate combinations; otherwise your players won't find spaces to explore and punish defensive mistakes your opponent make. It's kinda complicated to achieve that, and every opponent has a distinct set of Team tactics that may need some adjustment to outperform it.
This is relatable, I wouldn't say I'm a good FIFA player as such, but Im a good FIFA player when it comes to the football aspects of it, never bothered about the meta, I like playing football

I'm a US based plebian that didn't understand anything about the IRL game before playing fifa/FC. I also really dgaf about any sport, especially american football and baseball. I've noticed that I get slapped just as hard with a sweaty meta team as an 83 gold team, and it's clear the latter just knows the real game, and / or has been playing since very old fifas. Thanks for this!

Bigfads. I think this is the content that i have always looked for on youtube. I try to play this game in a way that replicates real football as well as possible. I am aware that it is a game and will never fully feel like real football. But i am so fed up of the vast majority of players always trying to abuse the same mechanics. I am trying to get the 4-3-3(2) to work. Offensively i like it alot to play football. But defensively i have to improve alot with this formation.
This video is amazing! Reinstated the fundamentals I was using subconsciously and made me more aware of it. Plus that triangles and diamonds tip is very very important and if you master it, it will definitely take you to the next level. Thank You @bigfads!
this was quite interesting! i played a lot of basketball in my life and i think thats why some of my instincts are completely off, as they dont work with football (and then i get mad at the bad choices of the passing ai and attacking ai). I would summarize play patient, play with the velocity of the ball and try to move with your attacking team as a unit. A lot of people are playing high pressure right now and maybe you can make a video of how you deal with that, still trying to play a short passing game? edit: lol u made a video about that before this one!

And what skills are essential in fc 24. Maybe explaining how certain skills in certain situations will help you create space or better opportunities.

I play football non league and I always say this to my mates, fifa isn’t a bad game you just don’t watch football analytically. Play with a style and use players that match that style like a manager would

I don't know Man, you passings are so accurate.. oftenly in my mind, i have the similar plan like you do, but the passings are so slow (before start to kick the ball, or the speed of the ball). So, it will be cut out by the opponents
9:49 i don't know the players you're playing against, but in my games the player behind you would press Frimpong while the other player covers the run in behind
It’s an aspect i probably should have mentioned, but doing this with success requires tempo. The specific clip is slowed doen but even then i take 4 touches (more than i usually do) cause i’ve quickly started a counter from winning the ball. Using it with success playing in elite and rank 1/2.
@@bigfads8530 the way they defend in those clips is quite questionable, especially for elite div. wanna play a game, would like to see if those tactics really works if there's actual pressure (not consant pressure)
