Whats wrong with abusing mechanics in a competetive game? Dont u use most meta guns in ur shooter games or picking the most broken heroes and buying most meta items in ur moba? Even irl football teams abuse their players strenghts, if some team have a tall guy in attack they cross, if they have quality players they pass the ball around and search for a good chance, if they have impregnatable defense like mourinho's inter they sit back and counterattack, if they have fast and fit players they play high and press, everybody abuses something

I know I am late to the party, but I wanted to come here to thank you. I've read every post you've shared in reddit about EAFC24 and tried the tactic you shared on one of the comments. Omg, what a difference! I started testing in SB on Legendary difficulty, and never seen Legendary AI this vulnerable against my attacks and defence. I was already beating 3/4 games on Legendary but even 33 chem 96 rated teams cannot create easy opportunities around the box. They can only score from bouncing balls or corners. Later, I've tested in Rivals and Champions and I have beaten 7-8 teams out of 10 games I've played where most players where clearly more skilled or experienced than me. 1 games my connection was gone and were playing better than the other team. I've played EFootball (or Konami's W11) for years and just got FIFA 3 months ago and was able to reach Div 3 watching great tutorials and reading reddit posts like yours. This tactic is incredibly strong as I can attack with 6 players and defend 7 players, and most of my opponents rage quit the games because they cannot do anything about it. Almost every game my opponents starts snubbing me for playing 3 in the back and try to run one winger all the way and by the time they even understand my tactic I am leading 3-4 goals ahead and they stop just to see my tactic. I used 3-5-2 to hide my original tactic and play mostly 3-4-2-1 with wingers on come back defense (esp. players with work rate H/H like Raphinha & Navas). Currently I play with: GK (97 Martinez) - CB (95 Maguire - 94 Rijkaard - 95 Hincapie) - CM (96 Raphinha - 97 Rodri - 98 KDB - 97 Navas) - CAM (97 Dybala) - ST (95 Sorloth - 97 Pele (or 97 Kaka)) I've so many great players I cannot fit into my team rn but most important positions for me are CB, LM & RM and CF (Pacey good dribbler I've 96 Werner, 98 Smith, 97 Kaka, 96 Wegh, 97 Gakpo and 97 Williams). 96 RVP is also another great option for LM as he has 90 Defence but for some reason his work rate is M on defence. This tactic is incredibly strong against meta 4-3-2-1 and High Depth tactics. What I do differently than yours is my Depth is 100 and almost all game my players have full stamina as I simply stall the opponent when losing the ball so that my wingers come back and can defend with 7 players and it drives them crazy. 3 CBs also help me to second man press and be aggressive and step up with one CBs when needed. I used Rijkaard mainly because he has tiki taka + which I believe very important for using him to bounce the ball back and create triangles around him. Other players I've tried were Koemann, Marquez and Fabinho but he seems to be the best for my case but Koemann is also another great option as his attacking skills are amazing for a defender. This tactic is great in many aspects: 1) Defending 7 Attacking 6 2) Almost always there is one player open on one of the wings (For me Raphinha & Sorloth combo is perfect because I generally attack from the right and switch to left and Sorloth wins the header and through passes to Raphinha which is a pacey player with Power Shot and it is so effective on the wings. Another case is when I build up from the right and do L1+Cross there is always one player available for header.) 3) On the cutbacks you have many options, recycle, cross or ping pass to center which makes opponent to commit to one or two so that you can exploit the other option 4) During the build up and counter attacks you have at least 2 people around the ball holder so you can create triangles or 1-2s easily and create great spaces for through balls 5) Even against high press there is almost always a passing option. It is much easier to build up through the defence (Almost every player I played used high pressure tactic within the first 60mins of game since they cannot get the ball and ended up using their stamina and make my job even easier) I've been playing soccer for almost 30 years and this is how I play and coach as well. Honestly, I don't see why pro teams play with 4 in the back. RWBs and LWBs make the game much more fun. I've started enjoying games even if I lose (esp sweaty Champs games), which is either because I missed many opportunities around the box or my opponent was clearly better player. I don't know how much to thank you and the original post with the tactic. I was playing with 3 defence on EFootball and cutback exploitation in this game made me believe I need at least 4 defenders until I tried this tactic and what a difference it made. Now I can see why pros cannot use 3 or 5 cb tactics. Thank you so much!!

Very very solid. 352 is my favourite formation, but this fifa i had to switch out of it unfortunately and go to a 4321 and be a meta rat, im super excited to try these.

Man I think I subscribed to your channel last year and let me tell you, this formation of yours is quite something. I was about to give up on the game and I’ve decided to use your 352 for the first time (also first time I’ve ever used a back 3 formation in this game), followed all the instructions and guides you provided and boi if it did wonders. I’m now in div 2 and Makelele/Gattuso have been incredible in that “fake” CB position. Last week I even managed to reach 13 wins in WL and yeah I’m not a pro or whatever but I think I can play this game.

Kounde, also this year, is way better for me then van Dijk because i manually defend and really aggressive ). well done explaining your thoughts, earned a follow.
100% mate, i don’t mind people using meta but it makes you very reliant on what’s currently good. Focusing on what suits you raises ones floor instead roof which is really underrated.

You could remove join the attack and have more players come back if you want to close it out with this tactic. But i usually keep the same and pass the ball around my opponents box to close it out. Alot easier to pass it around there while still looking to score another goal if possible.
Bit late to the party but this is amazing mate thanks - can actually keep the ball and have tonnes of options to pass short in opposing half - can't stand the direct/long ball. Defends pretty well too with decent CM's who can cover. Got marchisio fantasy in the witsel role, he's everywhere all at once

Thanks for sharing the formation and explaining how it works. I love the tiki-taka style, but I struggle to find passing options when players are running forward. With a slow build-up and possession play, I have many passing options, and this also helps improve my passing accuracy.

Dam this is actually the first time in fifa that i actually have fun playing the game. The movement is amazing. Even 89 de jong at cb with h/m isnt a problem lol. I played 5 won 3 games with it. But the 2 i lost was just bad defending on my part🤣 i will keep trying this setup further. And specially when i have martinelli next to messi at striker and gullit as join the attack cb or should he replace zanetti at cdm next to potm bellingham?🤔
Question for the LM and RM: Is it more important to play these players as actual wingbacks with more defensive capabilities (well rounded, less shooting like Bacha). Or does it make more sense to play more attacking threat players with high defensive work-rates, (take a Zaha as an example).
Up to preference, i like well rounded with shooting. If i have to choose between fullback or Winger i’d go winger. But if you want defensive stability then it’s fine with a fullback.
Not really, you're always going to be susceptible to counters. The patch didn't really change that. Your goal was always to stall when defending them, if you were succesful with that before the patch, they got back in time. That hasn't really changed post patch, it just takes them 1 sec more. If you failed before or after patch the same thing counter happen.

do you have a tactic to beat the script when you 4-0 for 78 minutes and then all of a sudden my player become sim-pro and he is unlimteated , tactic for to secure the result you did .
hey bro, love the tactics! Quick question - what are your thoughts on 1.) playing a winger as wide midfielder and 2.) defending in a 442 instead of 5212?
If it’s between a defensive/offensive i prefer a winger, but it possible an all around. I did use malcom there for a while. 2) More than possible, just remove one of the wide players on come back. The furthest CB on the other side will go out as a wide player. The reason i have them both on top of the reasons in the video, is that i pull CB out of position intentionally ALL the time to press. This makes it so i still keep a back four.
I have the same problem with ucl ramires, I use the extra striker option and the join attack instruction, but a lot of times he stays back or joins the attack slowly
With the new Gullit SBC I was wondering your thoughts. He can play CB and has relentless plus good passing. I feel he’s like a perfect central CB in this formation but was wondering your thoughts? Also maybe putting pedri into the new evo?
How do you beat the AIs? It feels they control every player all at once while i have to manually make my players give a shit as they stand there watching the opponent run past then when im not controlling them
I've tried this with Yaya as the middle CB. Worked great for the first 29 mins or so. Then after that he keeps switching with the lcb and rcb. Then he doesn't get forward and neither do the player occupying cb. Have you had this issue?
I have a question.....some of the players you mentioned for the CB don't have CB as a position on their card, so do I just need to sub them on at the start?
You could try putting him at play as striker, might make it more consistent. Can also be you’re playing a bit to quick for him to join. If you’re immediatly looking to attack score/shoot he won’t show up as he has a long way to run. I usually notice him when i’ve recycled the ball in my opponents half.
As someone who loves tiki taka but never found a tactic that actually works im going to try these. Im only afraid of the cb being out of position to much? I have radioactive tchouameni, 89 de jong, 89 zanetti. Who would be the best option?
understanding what kind of style i play, then what that style requires for it to be playable. For example, i play slow possesion and passing. That means i need many options in many areas. So a 4-3-2-1 won't work cause it's to direct.
You will get the ever living sh*t countered out of you, but you'll create more to score.

Stay back on both CM or removing the join the attack on the CB. But it’s at the cost of attack.

Is it more important to play these players as actual wingbacks with more defensive capabilities (well rounded, less shooting like Bacha). Or does it make more sense to play more attacking threat players with high defensive work-rates, (take a Zaha as an example).
Up to preference, i like well rounded with shooting. If i have to choose between fullback or Winger i’d go winger.
But if you want defensive stability then it’s fine with a fullback.

Not really, you're always going to be susceptible to counters. The patch didn't really change that.
Your goal was always to stall when defending them, if you were succesful with that before the patch, they got back in time. That hasn't really changed post patch, it just takes them 1 sec more.
If you failed before or after patch the same thing counter happen.
Like the tactics but I’m not sure if You are aware of it but @jfl artiom wojcicki was first who showed 352 with center cb joining the attack.

hey bro, love the tactics! Quick question - what are your thoughts on 1.) playing a winger as wide midfielder and 2.) defending in a 442 instead of 5212?
If it’s between a defensive/offensive i prefer a winger, but it possible an all around.
I did use malcom there for a while.
2) More than possible, just remove one of the wide players on come back. The furthest CB on the other side will go out as a wide player.
The reason i have them both on top of the reasons in the video, is that i pull CB out of position intentionally ALL the time to press. This makes it so i still keep a back four.

You have to do the extra striker on the pad on each game, otherwise he won’t consistently run up.
I have the same problem with ucl ramires, I use the extra striker option and the join attack instruction, but a lot of times he stays back or joins the attack slowly

It would work the same, but if you have them on stay back you need width somewhere else.

With the new Gullit SBC I was wondering your thoughts. He can play CB and has relentless plus good passing. I feel he’s like a perfect central CB in this formation but was wondering your thoughts? Also maybe putting pedri into the new evo?

How do you beat the AIs? It feels they control every player all at once while i have to manually make my players give a shit as they stand there watching the opponent run past then when im not controlling them

I've tried this with Yaya as the middle CB. Worked great for the first 29 mins or so. Then after that he keeps switching with the lcb and rcb. Then he doesn't get forward and neither do the player occupying cb. Have you had this issue?
No, that's never happened to me. You can try to put "play as striker" as an instruction instead maybe.
But yeah, never had that issue.

I have a question.....some of the players you mentioned for the CB don't have CB as a position on their card, so do I just need to sub them on at the start?
Start in a different formation and switch ingame with a preset. For example, if i want joelinton i’d start in 433 and switch after
I am using De Jong as the attacking center back but he does not go forward despite the instruction. Any ideas why?
You could try putting him at play as striker, might make it more consistent.
Can also be you’re playing a bit to quick for him to join. If you’re immediatly looking to attack score/shoot he won’t show up as he has a long way to run. I usually notice him when i’ve recycled the ball in my opponents half.

the same principles can be applied i all formations. In the 4-2-3-1 for example, the patter you look for is CB - CDM - CB - CAM - CDM/RB
As someone who loves tiki taka but never found a tactic that actually works im going to try these. Im only afraid of the cb being out of position to much? I have radioactive tchouameni, 89 de jong, 89 zanetti. Who would be the best option?
For all around de jong, for defensive stability tchouameni.
You can experiemtn with it it, turn it off if it’s not working for you.

How did you find your best formation? This game is so inconsistent.
understanding what kind of style i play, then what that style requires for it to be playable.
For example, i play slow possesion and passing. That means i need many options in many areas. So a 4-3-2-1 won't work cause it's to direct.

What do you think of Zanetti for the CB role?
He might get into positions to take shoots, which he’s not the best at. But in every other aspect 100% good.
