Ok i have some real information. I am a farmer in Ireland, we had many tractors overtime, some good, some bad, some horrible. The worst was a Renault 155-54. We bought it second hand at 1000 hours. We where immediately dissapointed at the gearbox. Most 150ho tractors at that time where 40kph / 25mph, this was just about 30k / 20mph. And there was too many big and clunky gears to go through. At 3000 hours, after all the servicing it needed, the brakes immediately failed, there where no brakes, at all, and it took some work to get it going again, or shall i say, stopping again. The wheels and tyre that came as standard where too small for the tractor and we found that it leaned back wayy to much. The front doors opened forwards which was bizzare for such a spacious cab, the controlls where ok but a bit of a reach, it felt extremely clumsy to drive around with a trailer, you had to come to a COMPLETE dead stop to reverse, you can't even select reverse with the GIANT lever even at 0.5mph. The tow hitch came down underneath the tractor in the hooking up position, so you cannot see a single thing behind you, it only had 2 spool valves in a 155hp tractor, the exaughst was big and in a very bad position and it was gutless too, it had very little power. Absolutely terrible tractor, no wonder the french cannot create tractors outiside of massey ferguson.
If an MF135 is 1 of the worst tractors ever made , why is my1974 model with over 15000hrs On its 3rd clutch ,3rd set of tyres, original engine still being used most weeks in semi retirement? Have you ever actually seen a tractor?

You have flamed the Ford 8N and Allis Chalmers B, both were greatly instrumental in giving the small farmers the ability to get their farm away from the need for a horse and all the hard work that went along with it. The Deere D is what opened up the midwestern US wheat and grain farms. The Farmall H, another great tractor in history. And the Massey Ferguson 135, along with the Ford 3000 is arguably THE BEST tractor suited for smaller rural farms under 50 acres. A 135 in the hands of a skilled operator will outwork and out maneuver any modern compact tractor today.

The one about kubota's L series makes me made its not true yes they don't have lift cupsutae for hevey Framing but they are compact tractors ment for land scalping like you said the small L series can lift a 4x4 or a 4x5 rand ball no problem and the longest L series can lift big rand balls no problem and you say that they have a week cupsutae is just a Damm lie

Them older tractors were dangerous enough on flat land. Our hillside made this worse. The crazy people I saw driving them made it more dangerous The newer ones people complained about electronics problems making them unreliable.
Just install a over running clutch on the pto shaft coming out of the rear of the tractor then hook up the implement pto drive line ford solved this fast this guy making this viideo needs to do more research

The Massey 35 - 135 was in my area was the best utility tractor ever built,I know of 4 in my community still running and working.

There are some Massey 135's still at work today. Affordability and the three-point hitch made them very popular for farmers who could not afford JD.
