Just watched some older L1T videos, Wendell looks so much healthier and happier right now. Keep it up, we need you for a long time. I can't trust these companies without you!
I feel like I say this in every thread, but I believe Wendell said he caught Lyme disease & developed a meat allergy. I don't know how he's coping with the exhaustion that comes along with that
@@Collin_J oh crap, did not know that. I am feeling so stupid right now. Get well soon big guy. How the hell did he get bitten by a tick, aren't we den dwellers immune from that occurrence? Damned ticks...
+1 for Wendell to attain national treasure status. I may or may not have a running archive of all L1T and L1L videos and trying to figure out the best way to run a weekly archive of the L1 forums for my End of the World box.
I'm glad that companies are now releasing cheap and accessible sff cases. It wasn't even that long ago that the only good sff cases came from boutique manufacturers that were 200+ dollars and took 6 months to ship. This is so much better
👍 exactly I convinced a bud to build in one he brought the parts (5800x3D) and the Chungus Scythe Ninja 5 I believe it's dang near Passive only have top fans pulling hot air out from the 3080Ti FE.
I've been building in ITX for decades now and recently got on a good sale an NR200P, I was impressed by the amount of accessories it came with and how easy it was to build. Kudos to CoolerMaster
The NR200 is my favorite case, and this one looks just as good. I really appreciate that they come with the option for included power supply and AIO, makes building a dream for SFF.
Love my N200P Max and this seems like it would be another interesting case to build in. Unfortunately for them, I won't be in the market for another case for hopefully several years.
NR200 could really use an update to add type - C and to be slightly bigger to accomodate for enormous RTX40 gpus. If I think about an update for NR200, this is definetly not that. Offtop. I personally also own and use a PC build in NR200.
Haven't reached the end of the video yet. But as learned from another reviewer doing this case there may be an issue with the 12VHPWR. Because yes it is 90 degree. But with those GPU's that have the reversed connections it may be more difficult to connect. Depending on the variation of the connector which changes the placement of the power and sense pins.
My only worry is the AIO. Was originally looking at this with a 13700k but idk with the thermal limitations. May have to go AMD again for cooler running cpu.
I'm just starting to plan out my new PC build, and I'm glad I didn't buy anything yet! I was debating on using the NR200 or go to a full size tower - but this case looks absolutely amazing! I'm super excited to get my hands on it once it releases.
I tried the nr200, wasn't a fan, ended up going with the ssupd meshlicious, then the meshroom. Looks like coolermaster likes the design. I am actually using the coolermaster 1100 sfx psu in my build.
Every time you plop something the table, my subwoofer blows me out of my chair... I always forget to set the "Level1Techs" eq setting on my sound before I watch your videos.
I thought this thing was going to be comically large like the Corsair 2000D, but it looks like by limiting the AIO size Cooler Master actually made the sizing decent
Really love the design of the "ASRock OC Formula RX 6950/6900 XT" If you want current gen. with a nice design I suggest you take a look at the "Sapphire Nitro+" series.
I'd like to see a case in that size/form factor that has at least 8 bays for 3.5" drives instead of room for a gigantic gpu. It's a nice shape to place on a table behind a TV for a living room TrueNAS. SFX power supply and motherboard in the bottom, and a couple of 140mm fans in a chimney setup directing cooling over the spinning rust.
subscribed, but you need to do more esthetics a specially room to clean up, more video angles and more preparation for video. it was nice to see video, in a future expecting more :)
Waiting for a stripped/base version. I am just not interested in any PSU with a 92mm fan. Not with SFX-L PSUs being less than 1cm longer, able to fit a 120mm fan.
I still have the nr200p max I seen a version 2 where you can put a bigger GPU. The front has a cut out so the GPU can extend out the front frame of the case so now there is only 1 2.5 inch available you can attach. But this is not ideal for me 120 mm aio is not a option for me personally.
Careful with CoolerMaster PSUs. We built all of our workstations using CM Gold and Platinum PSUs and 4 out of 7 units died within 2 years. Not a particularly high sample rate but it was enough to convince me never to use CM PSUs again. Switched to SeaSonic and Corsair and those are going strong ever since.
Hey brother. My Asus g14 died. I travel once a month and stay in hotels and work on pc. I'm Learninv ML and want to know if a mini Itx is a viable solution instead. I will build it out to the max because why not right lol. I will carry a couple ultra thin monitors and keys. That do you think about my idea?
M.2 cheat codes? That wouldn't be an M.2 to u.2 cable would it Wendell? Got two of those in my 7800x3d build, one for a 905p and one for a 7.68tb DC P4610.
If connected to a GPU, then yes, it would be plugged in from the bottom. If using onboard graphics it would be plugged into the motherboard and exit the side.
I just want all these reviews to start with the price. When they don’t, you just know it is Uber expensive. $399 for this case, even with cooler and SFX PSU, is too high.
I wouldn't pay money for the included PSU either. But that's only 'cause I don't like the particular one included, not because it isn't a fair price. Think about it: $150. is decidedly cheap for a high-quality SFX PSU in the over-750W power range. And $100. is more than reasonable for a non-standard form-factor liquid cooler. If you figure it like that, then you're only paying ~$150. for the bare case. That's a perfectly fair price for what this is, with the weird form-factor that has no commonality with any current or prior iterations of anything, and solid aluminum-plate panels.
Ion like it. Motherboard/chipset temps will be outrageous. Killed a 5800x in the ncase m1 with a radiator mounted behind the intake fans. Chipset temps were regularly at, or above 85c while gaming. Couldn’t even touch the back of the motherboard. Lesson learned. Intake fans now blow directly on the components, and i only use downdraft coolers in all my itx builds.

@zipkitty pretty sure they are in Kentucky where Ticks that can cause Lyme disease are more common.

I loved the NR200 so much that I built 3 computers with them. Two for myself and I convinced a friend to buy one and I helped him build it.

That adjustable side panel is really slick.
Cooler Master has been killing it with SFF cases lately.
I hope a micro-atx version comes in the future.

I went with an Asus Prime AP201; it's ~10L bigger but it's got room for everything
the issue ofc compared to NR200 is that that 10L bigger is horizontal and not vertical thus taking more desk space@@swampmullet

Cheers! Been waiting on this one. Looks like a purchase

Looks like a fancy space heater.

This, but at least 4 drives

This may be the case I've been looking for. I have limited desk space, but I could always go vertical. And with a 4090FE the 850W should be fine.
Can you please do a review of that AR900i
Waiting for a stripped/base version. I am just not interested in any PSU with a 92mm fan. Not with SFX-L PSUs being less than 1cm longer, able to fit a 120mm fan.
I like some of Cooler Master's cases but god help you if you ever need a replacement part.
Oh god that right angel connector on the 4070 is going to catch fire.
Accessabilty at the rear is all anyone could ask for
I just wish you had stayed silent for a few seconds so that we could hear the fan noise and evaluate.
Nice case but not $400 nice.... I know you get the PSU and an AIO included but..... 400?...
Can it be gpu enclosure, or need to buy some extra accessories?
I need this that can take a sapphire 7900xt *and a dark rock pro 4* cooler.
Edit effective a Fractal Design Torrent NANO RGB.... but vertical.

if amd am5 try use thermal grizzly am5 heatspreader...even with paste would have 5-10c cooling

I've only seen people use lower end cpu's for fear it might not cool enough, but I'm hoping it'll cool my 7950X-3D and 7900XTX
13:53 why is the GPU only using 90w in 4k??

No Signal Please Check the input connection
Will it fit the ROG Strix 4080 Super OC though?
Someone really liked the Corsair One. 😅
Silverstone DS380B or CS380
I like.
This looks nice, but I must say I am satisfied with my LianLi A4H2O
How does the HDMI connector fits? Is it coming from the bottom?
If connected to a GPU, then yes, it would be plugged in from the bottom. If using onboard graphics it would be plugged into the motherboard and exit the side.
Sounds like AL too
Woot!
Better than the phanteks one
480 bucks... are they insane!!!?
For the money? I'd rather have the Thermaltake tower 100/200
Nice.
Now that Nvidia killed the PC gaming market, ITX cases look a lot more interesting, particularly given some of those AMD APUs that are coming out.

Literally stopped the video after reading this comment.😂

399 for a case, AiO, PSU and gen4 riser cable. While not a great deal, it also isnt a bad one either
Nice case, enjoyed the review. But fuck gigabyte. Never again.
My goal in life is to be called out as a rando in your video lol
looks cool if it only it didnt have an AIO. aios are a no go for me
I was looking for something just like this but... $400.. I'll pass.
They need to make a NAS version.
no interest in the MAX line of products with included coolers and power supplies
already own coolers and power supplies
WASD 4 Life
