Letchworth Garden City, commonly known as Letchworth, is a town in the North Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England. It is noted for being the first garden city. As the world's first garden city, Letchworth has had a notable impact on town planning and the new towns movement; it influenced nearby Welwyn Garden City, which used a similar approach. Was born in 'Welwyn Garden City.'
I lived in 'Hatfield.'
But, we moved to 'Stevenage,' in 1979.
Been to 'letchworth Garden City,' once (in, 1979). Enjoyed it!
Best part of visiting family in London was when my parents would say, ' come on - we're going home!' My sisters and I couldn't get into the car, quickly enough! I mean, look at the county we're going home to!
