On Ya FD - nice of you to show the folks our home patch - and you even mentioned Southport where you might land one day Pity the scenery however is a 9 year old Bing offering My log book says I got my endorsement in that B35 bird - back in '73
Thanks ol fella, I enjoyed that. For around 20 years yred was my local strip living just 5 minutes away from there. spent some enjoyable moments at that strip. Murwillumbah is also a nostalgic place to me having grown up as a young tacca just across the river a Terranora. I went to primary school at tumbulgum which is just a few minutes away from "murbah" strip. Keep up the good work mate as I love your style😊
My pleasure mate. Really enjoyed this trip. Sounds like I couldn’t have made a more personalised flight for you! The universe works in mysterious ways. Thanks for sharing that.
I had that prop spinning thing int he xcub once, I think it’s another undocumented feature that happens under certain conditions but I’ve never been able to reproduce it. I’ve seen a fair few first impressions of this plane, but yours was the most interesting. Also, your comments around the FI, it’s amazing the effect a good FI can have and memories created 👍🏼
Thanks mate, appreciate the comment. I was fortunate to find blokes who combined quality instruction with enjoyable company. At times, flying was secondary to a yarn. Bit like my videos!
I just came across this review. N456T is my airplane. The livery provider did a great job replicating my custom paint job! It's even me in the pilot seat--can't believe it! My original has tip tanks and a 4-bladed prop, and the interior is quite a bit different. Anyway, loved the video tour. Glad you didn't crash my baby! :)
Thanks mate. I really enjoy when real life and sim life crossover like this. You are one lucky guy! And a special thanks for the education on how to complete the journey.
@@theflyingdad I am definitely lucky--I love my Bonanza! We've been to 47 states (including Alaska), and to 32 countries all over Europe and Africa (and a bit of western Asia). One day we'll round the world and when I pass through Australia I'll see if we can work out a visit/ride!
Nice airplane, the Carenado aircraft are visually appealing, but with so GA aircraft available today, I will have to think about about this one. That said, a beautiful flight. The U.S. similarity is the east coat of Florida. My first solo was Oct 16, 1994, but not in Florida, in Wisconsin (where’s that?) Anyway, I’m glad to be with you in the flight sim old timers club. Thanks to the magic I’d MSFS I can have Scotty beam me down to Brisbane and enjoy a airborne little site seeing. Thanks again. See you next time.😎
Cheers mate, always good to have you onboard. I'm grateful for the choice of decent GA birds in this sim at various price points. I find setting realistic expectations helps me enjoy each one for what it is. Wisconsin hey? I think it might be time for a virtual visit and video to boot. I have an indirect (non-aviation) connection to the joint.
Another great video. That plane is on my list to get as soon as I pay off my loan shark ,aka daughter, for my flight yoke. Really enjoyed the flight, stay well !
Nice video, thanks! I owned an unmodified 1958 J-35 back in 1990s southern California days, so was happy to see this release for MSFS. The flight characteristics are pretty close to real, even the notorious tail waggle in turbulence. Sounds lacking, no tablet etc but why the gripes about Carenado? At least they put out a decent rendition. I'd like to see a study level effort done or one incorporating the feature depth of the Milviz C-310, but who's going to do it?
Cheers mate. I'm suitably jealous! And thanks for confirming the characteristics are close enough. You're right - at least we have one in the sim. A deeper rendition may not appear for ages, if ever. *cough cough* A2A where are thou...
You ended up parked more or less directly tail on to the wind, which was strong enough that the sock was more or less horizontal - maybe the prop was windmilling ?
Ummmmmmmm… that’s my tail number, that’s my plane… like irl, It’s a 1974 Beechcraft V35B, turbo normalized with a Q-tip prop, tip tanks and glass cockpit…
Thanks for the little bit of history of the Gold Coast.😊
Cheers mate. Thanks for the comment that inspired me to watch my own video! I have no memory of making this one...

Hello mate. I didn't realise the scenery was that old! Sometimes, my bad eyesight is a blessing. Stay well mate.

@@theflyingdad why I love the channel, banter and a bit of flying 👍🏼

P.S. You left the boost pump on at the end--that's why it didn't stop. Ask me how I know! Hahaha. (Switch between throttle and prop controls is up.)

Would love to see this aircraft more often. The Bonanza is one of my favourite GA aircraft. Great video, loved the amateur tour of the Gold Coast
Cheers mate. Emphasis on the amateur :) I've actually got a little adventure planned in the V35 and may post part of it to the channel, so stay tuned.

Cheers mate. "I kept you alive - consider that payment in full" is what my daughter would cop :) Let us know what yoke you got.

Thanks mate. On reflection, I understand-ish, but am struggling to accept it's realistic. Never seen it before. I shall just consider myself schooled!
I loved it. Flew about 8 hours i think.
Nice to hear from you mate. Glad you enjoyed it. 8 hours for $15...reasonable value!
The wind is blowing the prop.
Yeah, I was wondering if that was it but…that would have to be a very strong wind wouldn’t it?
@@theflyingdad looked like you had a big stiffy
@@theflyingdad indeed lol.

Crackin Good Video Thank You but I will stay away from anything Carenado amfraid
Thanks mate. I suspect you won't be alone in that opinion about Carenado - as other comments on this video will confirm in due course...
