- The closing theme for the ending of the 2010 FIFA World Cup from South Africa, as presented by ESPN/ABC in the United States of America. Spain won the tournament by defeating the Netherlands 1-0 in extra-time in the final. What an amazing tournament (aside from those blasted vuvuzela horns).

FIFA WORLD CUP: most watched tournament in the world. how is it NOT? amazing wins, tough losses, mind-blowing moments, and countless tears were shed during the FIFA. it's a beautiful sport, no doubt. it brings the world together!! this was a great montage.

This is a great montage! There were many fine moments in the 19th quadrennial world cup- perhaps even too many to capture in a three minute video! This one is great, but I only wish there had been more footage of the vuvuzelas! It's great that coaches like Raymond Domenech and Diego Maradona were shown; however, there could've been more shots of others, like Dunga, Vincente del Bosque, Bert van Marwijk, Joachim Löw, and Marcello Lippi. Still, ABC and ESPN had a great telecast of this tournament!
Great video. I knew there was a reason I was watching the ABC/ESPN broadcast rather than Univision (I speak spanish). Univision has better commentators but ESPN's video tributes are amazing.

@psychicriver : I agree with you 100%. There were more memorable moments that should have been captured such as: Maicon's goal against North Korea, Tevez goal against Mexico, Germany's and Diego Forlan's spectacular goals. Forlan won the best player of the tournament for goodness sake..gotta put him in there.

@thevenezuelandude for your information, there were four sets of announcers on the american coverage of the world cup, two to each game. 2 of them were british, and the other two were american. this montage only has the 2 british announcers.

No but, seriously it was a great world cup with a deserved champion. Spain had never won it before, so I was happy for them. Still better than Maradonas Argentina!

i hate that they focus on the US more than we deserve on all ESPN shows (and in this montage). So biased, but i guess thats what i expected watching from America. When it comes to the World cup i want a world perspective not a local one.

I'm sorry to say this but I love the Spanish version better.
Not as good as the FIFA 2006 montage. This one had too much focus on USA and U2. I'm a USA fan, but there were much better teams. They could have shown more of the fantastic goals and saves throughout the tournament.
