  • Here's a summary of Seth Gruber's speech titled "The White Rose Resistance":
Historical Context: Gruber highlights Missouri’s historic status as the first abortion-free state before Roe v. Wade and critiques the current state of abortion regulations, noting that despite state laws, abortion pills are still accessible and causing harm due to federal deregulation.
Cultural Critique: He argues that modern political and social movements, including those defending abortion, are driven by an oligarchic agenda that undermines democracy and promotes the culture of death, rather than genuine democratic values.
Religious and Moral Responsibility: Gruber condemns the apathy of some Christian leaders who focus solely on preaching the gospel without engaging with cultural and political issues. He advocates for a more active stance, drawing parallels between biblical figures like Gideon and the current need for courageous Christian activism.
Historical Parallels: He draws a comparison between contemporary issues and historical figures and movements, such as Margaret Sanger and the eugenics movement, to illustrate the ongoing and evolving nature of moral and cultural decay.
Call to Action: Gruber urges Christians to embrace a more active role in resisting cultural and political evils, invoking the legacy of the White Rose resistance group from WWII as a model for current Christian activism against the "Holocaust of abortion."

I first heard Seth speak on John Cooper’s podcast a few weeks ago, and from that time I have now bought his book and begun to listen to his other videos on RUclips. Thank you for being a church who isn’t afraid to have him speak at your service.
