    Hi Cara
    Very very interesting facts in this film.
    That makes more curious about history and relations to other part of Scotland.
    You must be excited to witness those markings....
    Nothing with Astrology? simpler idea?
    Of course, we must not forget how simple tools they cold afford back in the day.
    Oh yes, Scotland is has quite rocky land/mountains
    Thank you Cara, always bring Mysteries to my table. Great work.
    Now you are the problem solver. I am curious o know how you can define those meaning in the future.
    I may miss your premiere next week since we are celebrating K7S' belated BD in FL

    To think that we are getting a message from someone from 5000 years ago makes me shiver and only wonder, what, if any, the people will think of what we have left behind in the next 5000 years...now isn't that something to think about Cara your finds are always so amazing...I am so lucky to be following you and getting to see such wonderful and amazing pieces of art made from our ancestors of long ago...

    These Neolithic rock art markings are so intriguing, i think they have a deeper meaning than many people think, but to be honest i am very openminded about them👍

    • @openmindedwonderer
      @openmindedwonderer  3 месяца назад

      :-) Apart of me agrees, that they have a deeper meaning but then another part of me does wonder if we over thinking things. It's a hard one, we are told that they are the first farmers, moving from simple hunters and yet they make these amazing monuments with hardly any tools. Sorry going off on one there :-)

    • @Traveler13
      @Traveler13 3 месяца назад +1

      @@openmindedwonderer Yes when you see the monuments and the size they worked with it always makes me wonder how they did it with sticks and hemp rope, then you get the orientations? how did they work that out if they didnt know maths and geometry?

    • @openmindedwonderer
      @openmindedwonderer  3 месяца назад

      @@Traveler13 they must have known more than people give them credit or is there something else in play here. To me, what we see compared to what we are told don’t marry up. 🤔 lots to think about

The carvings are so impressive and it will be fascinating to see what else we discover in future about some of there meanings. Brilliant video cara 😊

    Interesting video Cara about Neolithic rock art, I've seen some, but loving the information on them through you! Glad to see that the cup and ring marks are being somewhat cared for. Interesting shapes and of course the meanings behind them are just fascinating! I read on one of the signs that some of the marks are over 5,000 years old, just amazing, so bloody interesting. The marks have so many different meanings, I like to think it's a way or form of communication, it's so important to know this though, so thank you Cara, you deliver this so well. xx

    perhaps they also used hammerstones and water to polish the stones just as striking creates light so does polishing this would also have created a spiral light and sound show seen better in the dark?
